now we’re just about a minute away from the off time 6 to5 generally late on the favorite Global Eclipse shade bigger than 3 to One A Day forever Roman has shortened up quite a bit late on from bigger than 6 to1 down to the 4 to1 mark check the boss at 10 12 snow dragon 16 to1 for you buzz Flags go up yeah good luck whatever you’re on in the last here where’re almost set to go a there off after a steady approach the six Runners dispatched and Global Eclipse has swerved and very nearly unseated Harry Skelton in the first 100 yards of the race it was a really good sit smart piece of horsemanship from Harry and he kept the partnership intact and as they go along at a crawled on the way down to the first Global eclipse and the raw blue is Handy upsides the gray snow dragon but that was a fairly anxious moment for the short prize favorite in the very early part of the race now here is the first and snow dragon a swerve left and is unseated and a day forever had to hurdle Alan doy who was on the ground and now snow dragon is joining in and running around in front of the field and it’s utter chaos in the early part of the race and snow dragon has taken out Romania and has taken out for ubiz and has taken out a day forever and all of a sudden there only two left all horses seem to be absolutely fine they’re running around in all directions all jockeys appear to be okay as well and now snow dragon is still running around and rather hampers Global Eclipse with Jack the boss having been left in front and now three loose horses are threatening to join him so they’ve got a circuit ahead of them and Sam twist and Davis is wisely trying to take a pull here on Jack the boss who is in danger of going off in pursuit of the loose horses and Global eclipse is a further six L away and he in turn is being pursued by a riderless horse they’re pursued by a riderless horse another ridless horse the gray who’s not far off them either around the outer as they come into the street Jack the boss over global Eclipse less than half a mile to travel and closing in on what is now the second last Jack the boss again wandering around going into it but hops over kn enough to Global Eclipse who’s still sitting in his wake sitting in his slipstream now they come around what should be the second last and on down to the final flight just over a quarter mile to travel if they both get neatly enough over the last it will be a Sprint to the line here Jack the boss Global eclipse coming to challenge Jack the boss wanders just about leads at the last now Colton shakes up Global Eclipse it’s been a Sprint from the last of the line Jack the boss first to commit Glo Global eclipse is trying to close he’s inching closer time is running out Jack the boss makes all it was a lot more chaotic than that and the only other one to finish Global Eclipse Jack the boss has beaten Global Eclipse that’s a result it doesn’t tell the full story thinking was going back to the days of family business yeah memories of that now wasn’t it yeah he just wondered that was third last to go yeah he just wondered whether any horse was going to complete but yeah complete carage not a lot to say before the rest with no form but here we go snow dragon refuses going into the first island oil unseated he got to his feet quickly but it’s the loose gray who comes in here and wipes out all bar two of them yeah ex wandering around the the loose horse now and that’s where the carage starts romancia he was he was the first to be impacted the and the eventual second he was lucky to avoid it wasn’t a global Eclipse who nearly threw Harry skeleton off even before they got to the first yeah and he wins a the Sprint from the the last home he will have a penalty next time out but anyway he’s he’s got a win here he’s beating Global Eclipse good news horses and jockies after that melee all up all okay a dramatic first day of the bet 365 Charlie Al CH Mark will be back here tomorrow but two on the day for Sam twist and Davis we hand back to Tom TI up the full result slightly dramatic race time it’s as if we’ve been gone forever but soon it will feel like we’ve never been [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] away it’s showtime

  1. Proof that these horse love to race. They were all up for it once they got rid of the extra weight off their backs.

  2. Good riding by Global Eclipse's jockey. I think Global Eclipse was ready to bolt, but the jockey somehow got him back in hand.

  3. Why do jockeys on short price favs sit there and try win races cheekily? Just go and win yhe race from 2 or 3 out drives me mad

  4. My heart was doing gymnastics in my ribcage when Snowdragon abruptly veered in front of the other horses and jockeys, sending them crashing to the ground. All of the participants could have been gravely injured in that pile-up. Even if they all seem unscathed, some injuries can show up within hours, or days after the initial incident.

Also, I could tell that the majority of horses here seemed agitated and jumpy from the get-go. Horses, like other herd animals, will often exhibit herd mentality, meaning that they are affected and triggered by the emotions/actions of other members in their group. For example, when one individual is frightened, this causes a chain reaction within the herd, and they all begin panicking as a result. Horses are very sensitive and attuned to their environment, which includes being receptive to other horses around them. The horses here weren't part of a herd, but I could see that something similar to herd behavior occurred here. One horse was uneasy, and the rest of them began to follow suit. These horses also looked very young, and not fully matured. They should have underwent more training before they were allowed to race.

  5. White horse rider jumped off before he went right over and made sure he hit the ground on the outside. Did he know what was going to happen?

  6. These young horses are used to being in stalls and paddocks, like most horses around the world. I wish horses could run with a herd and learn boundaries on their own. Horses in the wild would never run across the herd like this grey horse. They run like a unit…I love to see horses in the wild. Sorry to digress.

  7. Don't know a lot about that racing but could they not stop the race and grab the loose horses out then away then start again?
