Yeah I mean
I’ve always said you you should get into coaching management I want to I want to be a manager too That’s it But I just want to do it like I’m I’m going in there just to keep myself in that world cuz things do change like little don’t you like football constantly evolving and um like I go in there and every day I’ll pick up something and I be a little nugget okay right I can use that or
you know what I mean
yeah So what what is your role
so I just I just I’m ad hoc around the television work and I go in I work with the under 18s mainly
Yeah Um you know but sometimes the beat team sometimes I think next year I might do a little bit more with the 16s cuz they’re on the evening Yeah it’s like it’s nice helping out young players as well
Yeah Like I love listen I’m a footballer so it’s nice sometimes it’s nice when you you say something and and they they do it or you see the penny drop see the progression play
It’s a nice feeling mate And then when you do finally you know get into the you know the managing role how do you want your teams to play because you’ve played under so many good managers different styles How are you getting your teams to play Joe
um tactically or like tactically I think you got to adapt to whatever you got of course
You know depends where you’re going what you got at the start Ultimately it’ll be like attacking football exciting football

they approach you or do you approach them or have you
We kind of just got chatting on the evening and then they reached out to me and uh it was I’d always loved to do it but instead of it kind of just being our Wayne comes on board I invested a little bit of money not a lot but to have a to have an interest in it And uh I’ve had a few meetings gone really well They’ve been fairly surprised as well cuz obviously I went to one event and then they took me to another and those events kind of turned into more of a party
right
so they see the party side of me

but then when we turned up for like proper meetings they were just like pleasantly surprised I was well into it and like the first two meetings gone really well But it’s such a long process the clothing line You know there’s colors there’s shape material but um we’ve kind of narrowed it down to you know probably anywhere between 12 to 15 items I think
And what sort of is it going to be summer range
be summer range So it takes a while So it’ll be out next summer
And are you getting your hands dirty you getting properly in with the design phases
yeah I’ve gone to all the meetings So we’ve done we’ve only done two meetings which is probably like uh basic what we’re going to do and then started to come up with the ideas of what we want and what it’s going to look like And now the next stage is basically finding the materials
