i think golf had become my identity my idol that you know if I if you asked like seven-year-old Ben Martin like what would be the pinnacle of life it would be just playing on the PJ tour not winning just being out there and so that that high that that you experience of man this is I’ve made it and then one month two month three or four months in I’m like this is sort of the lowest point I’ve ever ever been at in my life you think it’s going to be great and then when you get it it fails you and so I think through that through that time my rookie year I just just cried out to the Lord and said “If you’re there if you’ve revealed yourself to the world through Jesus Christ and he is who the scriptures say he is uh then just show yourself
