You would think that Paige Spiranac’s fans would know better – she’d never be caught wearing a polo shirt while golfing!

The popular influencer cleared up a rumour that she was the blonde golfer featured in a video that went viral this past weekend.

In the clip, which was posted by X user @ClayDeux last week and has racked up more than 2.7 million views as of Monday afternoon, a woman takes a swig of what appears to be a White Claw before stepping off a moving golf cart, sending her tumbling backward on a fairway with her drink and sunglasses going flying.

Spiranac reposted the video to her X account along with an explanation as to why it couldn’t have possibly been her.

“I would like to clear up the speculation. This is not me. We all know I wouldn’t be wearing a polo,” she posted.

Perhaps ironically, the next snap that Spiranac shared featured her wearing a striped grey polo shirt.

She also noted that the conservative look may have hindered her play, chalking it up to a personal theory she holds.

If you’ve been following me for awhile you know I have this working theory that I play better when I wear less clothes. Can confirm that science is right once again. I played like 💩 today pic.twitter.com/NiAuORk3FT

“If you’ve been following me for awhile you know I have this working theory that I play better when I wear less clothes. Can confirm that science is right once again. I played like (poop emoji) today,” she wrote on Sunday.

Spiranac, who has built up a following of more than 5 million fans across her social media platforms, has become known for wearing revealing outfits while dishing out golf tips. The former collegiate champion golfer has laughed off criticisms of her wardrobe choices from golf purists in the past, including some mild outrage earlier this year for an outfit she considered “conservative.”

“People are so mad about this outfit,” Spiranac wrote in a post made in April. “The funny part is I really thought it was one of my more conservative looks lol.”

The blonde bombshell also hit back at a user on X who criticized her for showing off her figure in a post of herself setting up her new golf bag while wearing a tight long-sleeved zip-up shirt and workout shorts.

One user didn’t appreciate one “cheeky” segment of the clip in which Spiranac had her back to the camera.

“Had to start that second shot with your a** on the camera. Real classy Paige,” the X user replied to the post.

Spiranac, who has never been shy about her sexuality and her body, hit right back at the aggrieved fan, saying that she’s “proud” of her body and the hard work she has put in.

“I went from having my back connect to my thighs to this,” Spiranac wrote while posting side-by-side shots of herself to show off her fitness gains.

“It’s not the biggest peach now but I’ve been working harder than I ever have in the gym and also with my diet.

“Heck yeah, I’m going to show it off! I’m proud of my body and how hard I’ve been working to achieve my fitness goals.”

She also responded to another user who told her not to bother with “dopes” like the first user online.

“It was a great opportunity to show off my booty again,” she wrote.
