Like if he was like even marginally not on the exact line Keegan would have played, there was a good chance we would be in a playoff situation because of that bloopy last second “fuck you” break.

Tommy’s winless streak here has become a thing. He was battling that and not Keegan down the stretch. Alternated between being aggressive and overly conservative and somehow neither option worked. He’s too good not to get a win, but it’s going to take a Rory-Masters type effort to overcome it.

People are talking about Fleetwood changing clubs on the approach but it was safe and fine. That lag putt was absolutely atrocious. Pros are going to get that inside of 3 feet the vast majority of the time.
I love seeing Keegan succeed bc he just seems like a genuinely great guy, but dammit I hate this for Tommy. Such a gut punch.
I absolutely hate Keegan’s celebration style lol. It makes me cringe.
It’s crazy to me that Keegan does his whole aimpoint routine after putting the ball down and into play. I would be so nervous I’d accidently kick the ball stepping backwards.
Felt bad for Fleetwood, but 2.1 million $ for second place will help lessen the blow.
Tommy struggled with pace all day – early 3 putts, heartbreakingly short on 12 and then started going short – long – short. The final putt hit a dent or something 3/4 of the way and it sent it off course. Everyone who has ever won has blown wins. I think he’ll get over the hump sooner rather than later.
Holy shit yesterday was hard to watch. Tommy Tommy Tommy. Literally psychs himself out. Feels a little like Bryson falling apart lately. Total opposite of the vibes of JJ Spaun last week. Was on offense the entire time. Playing defensive, going from a 9 to a PW will haunt him for a long time
