I saw a recent post with four groups on the same tee; this is four foursomes waiting while the fifth group is on the tee ahead. All it takes is a difficult par three or a reachable par 5, and the course looks like the 405 at rush hour

Dude there no way I’d be putting up with that. So you’re waiting like 15-30 minutes on each shot you take? I feel so blessed to be where I am. My home course it dirt cheap, beautiful, and I never have to deal with shit like this

I can’t imagine how the marshalls there let this slide.
They have made tee times soo close it’s not even fun anymore, I have a friend in the south who said the local courses around him have 8 min tee times and the greens fees are around $80 for a course that used to be $50 several years ago.
I’d be in the clubhouse asking for a refund.

This is a failure on the course. I’d assume they overbooked the day. Depending on what hole this is, I’d head to the clubhouse and ask for a voucher since they clearly either over booked the day, the starter didn’t his job or the ranger doesn’t have the balls to tell groups they need to speed up.
You could smoke a whole joint and come down before your tee shot.

I think I was behind that group yesterday. This threesome had 3 groups backed up behind them on #9 because they stopped to buy beers from the cert girl. And of course, all three had to pay separately. I know I would not have been able to wait 7 minutes to hit the halfway house. 🙄
Thanks for the reminder to not be upset when I pay next month’s club dues. So thankful to not deal with this type of stuff!
