After nearly a year of planning, Swenson Park has officially opened “The Mini,” a brand-new 18-hole miniature golf course aimed at bringing fun for all ages. The course quietly opened to the public on Friday, June 13, with a full grand opening planned for later this summer.

Although some final touches like fencing, lighting, and landscaping are still in progress, the course is fully playable. Prices during the soft launch are currently $15 on weekdays and $18 on weekends, though that may change as the course finalizes operations.

“This is meant to be a true community hub,” said Henry Childs , general manager of Swenson Park. “We want to create a space where everyone, from seasoned golfers to first-timers, can enjoy themselves.”

Swenson Park, which once faced potential closure, is undergoing a major revival. In addition to the mini golf course, the driving range will soon be upgraded with Toptracer technology, similar to what’s used at Topgolf, offering a high-tech, social experience for casual and serious golfers alike.

Putters and golf balls are provided on site for both kids and adults. Reservations can be made by phone for groups of up to six, with larger groups encouraged to call ahead.
