I’m a gardener ( spare time ) here in Australia 🇦🇺 and we use a completely different type of tool for cutting thick grass like this and to make sure it’s cut perfectly to size “no wet backs in Auss” it’s a type of Wipper snipper on a long haul that is balanced to your hips! That would be the safest way to do this job as my local golf course does as well! Lawnmowers on an angle absolutely crazy🤷🏼🥹🤣🤣🇦🇺🇺🇸
Hmm. About 30 years ago I saw them mowing a course in my area with a mower that could go sideways with coaster type wheels so they stand on top of the hill and wave it back and forth below them. Sort of like those pressure washer attachments for sidewalks and driveways. Back then they were like $2500 which is why I only saw them at one course.
