That’s it. Just keep going and we lost a couple series
already this year it’s just another series. Got a big one coming up with Kansas
City, we played in the postseason, a guys are
having great at-bats, making great plays, it’s every put the right side is
going to be a series like this, you know, kind of back and
forth. They have a beginning, we have one back, it’s that’s baseball. So, just
go back to work. I think something different. Spend some time here. No, not much an, Arby’s hard worker, great
teammate. You know, one of us we had over here, that’s how sad to see him go,
but excited for the opportunities
getting right now, you really doing this thing over
there. So I’m going to well, but yeah, like he had a short time
coming up with us for a little bit but And the stuff I saw in spring
training, the stuff I heard about everybody loved them, he’s outwork everybody in this room. So you know, doesn’t surprise me is having
this accessory, is this year. What can you take away from this
series and apply towards next time you meet them? Just
next weekend? You know, there’s a couple
games, we got a chance to see a lot of their Bullpen, I feel
like we saw every single one of their guys, which only helps you
out especially now, when we play every single team, we lose lose a series Home and Away
against kind of our in division Rivals. So it’s a good to get the chance to
have a couple games. We see some of their back-end arms you
know especially seeing Chapman area of those only for one
batter but you’ll get a chance to see some
of those back in God who I was down the road. I really didn’t hear about it,
until I think it water Perez was, they told me before the
game, but I’ve only heard Ken Griffey, say
that it’s a little surprised. When somebody tells you, yeah, 4243 multi Hunger Games time.
Lou Gehrig. Has that feeling? What have been sweet with the
feels away? Trying to think about it, just
trying to do my job there. Anytime you get mention with
those Legends it’s quite an honor but would have been sweeter at talk
about it after a while. It wasn’t this year. It’s a Christian. He was cruising there for a
while but you know, I always want him out there on the mound.
He’s a guy that he attacks his own. Well gets ahead
he’s got just two or three Wipeout pitches put guys away with that’s why one of the mountain. Any big spot, any big situation.
I was going to go after guys attack guys. But yeah. Just a couple tough
spots today but he’s uh no, he’s a guy’s going to bounce
back and be ready for the next one. Aaron Carlos has been so
consistent all season long, he cruised through the first four.
What did you see in the fifth and sixth out of him? Yeah, I mean you know, lat lost his own a
little bit you know you know walk hit batter and then RV has Clips them. You know, up to then you know, I thought
really threw the ball. Very much in line with who he’s been. All year. I thought his mix was
good, it was kind of sailing, they’re
a little bit too, you know, but couple walks and a
hit batter kind of hurt them and then RV has obviously got
them. So, you know, they they did a good
job offensively you know this series and and certainly you
know, all night tonight that you know, they put together a
lot of really good at-bats against some good
pitching. So they, you know, they got us.
They got us tonight, did he come out of it? Okay,
physically. He’s okay. Carlos. Yeah. Okay, yeah, Campbell and RV has both hit 4
seamers. Hmm, with the location. Did he hit the right location?
And I have to go back still, and
look, you know, obviously a little bit
of a weird night with, with, with the wind, you know, Campbell’s ball.
Stayed real true. You know, he puts a hit, some really good
swings all night, but that ball kind of state true thought initially it price slice
a little bit but you know, he put some good
swings on. Balls. First pitch, the season coming
in Aaron judge was sitting like something absurd. Like 671, we heard the comments that
Dobbins made and it seemed like he took that
little personally in the first inning with that swing. I don’t know. I mean he
obviously had a really good night just at bat wise you know on base you know to just really
impressive blows the other way. I mean you don’t see hit balls, hit the
other way like that very often. So So just, you know, I,
you know, judge he likes playing in these
games and I think you just saw a great
player, having a great night. Rocks are going back to this past
offseason. How tough was it to give up on our bias and that trade? Yeah. Very you have very tough RV, you
know, beloved in our organization just
for who he is but also you know we know just
what a talented catcher he is to and you know, obviously really starting to
come on into his own offensive ly as well. So, you know, It was hard to give them up,
but, you know, sometimes you have to make tough moves if to
make other things plausible. Chris. I know it’s a small sample but
what have you seen out of the wiser, go so far, he’s given
up a lot of hard cons. Yeah, lefties give him a little bit of
trouble. I feel like he’s really throwing the ball really well stuff which is
really good. Really has been for the last
couple months, maybe a little bit of just get
still getting settled into the season after missing a
complete year that next that last level of just really being
sharp. But I feel like stuff wise, he’s
He’s been good, you know, he’s been efficient, you know,
is he didn’t pitch last night, but
pitch back-to-back the day before, you know, 10, 11 pitch,
very low, winning the why’s, it gotta like, Innings with generating the ball on the
ground and the week contact. So, you know, Toro really got
them there after a long at-bat. So just, you know, fine-tuning is stuff especially
against lefties, not really worried at all right,
handed wise even though it’s story did, Adam and put a
good swing on them. I feel like he’s in a pretty good place with
that but stuff. Why is he’s where he needs to be? Anyone else mark? Overall, what do you take from
the series with the energy levels and also just last two
days. Boston, what level? The energy levels
with Yankees Red Sox. Also, last two days that I’m just
scoring a lot of runs and answering back. Yeah, I mean, yeah. I mean, these are always,
you know, kind of heavy series and, you know, fun to be a part of and go
through. But, you know, they are there any shoes on the last
couple nights? And, you know, really even the first
night. With them coming back on us and pressuring us a little bit. So, you know, they beat us here this this weekend. So it’s part of it, you know, will
will kind of regroup into the off day here and, you know, obviously off to
Kansas City and then back to Boston and and you know get
ourselves right back on track.
