tiger Woods has been seen on the golf course for the first time since his most recent injury setback according to the Palm Beach Post Woods was in Florida to support his 16-year-old son Charlie who is currently competing in the Florida State Golf Association’s Amateur Championship charlie fresh off his first American Junior Golf Association AJA title last month is continuing to make waves in junior golf this marks only the second time Woods has been spotted in public over the past two months his last appearance was in May when he met with former US President Donald Trump the latest photos suggest that Wood’s recovery is progressing well although he was riding a golf cart he was no longer wearing a protective boot or cast and wasn’t using crutches however he did appear to have some form of support inside his shoe now 49 Woods hasn’t played a competitive round since last year’s Open Championship at Royal Trune although he did participate in the first season of the new TGL League he had been preparing for a return to competitive golf when he suffered a torn tendon near his calf as I began to ramp up my own training and practice at home I felt a sharp pain in my left Achilles which was deemed to be ruptured Woods wrote on social media this morning Dr after Charlton stuck in a hospital for special surgery in West Palm Beach Florida performed a minimally invasive Achilles tendon repair for a ruptured tendon i’m back home now and plan to focus on my recovery and rehab thank you for all the support while Tiger continues his recovery Charlie is making headlines of his own he recently secured a dominant win at the Aggas Team Tailor-Made Invitational at Stream Song Resort’s Black Course posting an impressive 15 under par to claim the title his final round 66 featured eight birdies and no bogeies propelling him from 609th to 14th in the National Junior Boys Rankings notably Charlie bested top ranked juniors including number one Miles Russell and number five Luke Colton
