ian as i sit down and write this i look back at everything we’ve been through it’s crazy to think i met you when i was only 13 years old [Music] one of my favorite memories of arizona was when you took me to breakfast and shopping because i didn’t have any girlfriends to fill the role you do things you don’t want to do with me with a smile on your face just to make me happy when i look at ian and delaney i see a couple who fell in love as young teenagers i see a couple who has grown up together taking on life one step at a time [Music] when i look at them i see pure genuine love the kind of love that lasts in eternity [Music] i see a couple who has wholeheartedly committed to one another [Music] lainey the day is finally here we have been talking about this day for so many years words can’t describe how excited i am to take your last name and turn it into gram there was another mrs graham who isn’t here today but she would be so proud so smile today and all day long and let’s celebrate a lifetime of love to come i will see you soon with love ian [Music] [Applause] [Music] you look beautiful [Music] come here [Music] and i think it’s very important for you to know that my mom and dad would be honored to call you their daughter-in-law [Music] and although my mom is not here today i know she is happy because she always told me i was never allowed to marry anybody else but you [Music] you when i met you nine years ago i never would have thought we’d be standing here today i fell in love with you in high school not only for the way you looked in those baseball pants or how well you did your hair but for your heart you have loved me unconditionally every moment since the day i met you you love me on my worst days and even managed to love me on the days and i don’t know how to love myself the best thing about meeting you young was watching grow into the manual here today we’ve grown together struggled together and face life’s hardest challenges together and i’m so thankful that our relationship as father and daughter has brought us to this point and one thing she doesn’t know is that when she contacts me for some guidance or an ear to lean on she doesn’t realize that i need her a hundred times more giving and receiving the brains it gives me a great deal of pleasure that by the authority vested me in this state of new york i do pronounce you you are husband and wife and you get to kiss here [Music] [Music] take a look i’m just gonna say it and she knows it’s true at first she didn’t like me [Music] get the whole block shaking [Music] i know it can’t be easy that’s what makes you such a special girl you’re about to start a new chapter in your life i am so proud of both of you and what do you have here i cannot wait for you guys to grow further together and start a beautiful family truly if there was one person who would probably give a ten times better speech than me [Music] it’d definitely be mama graham if she could be here she’s watching you know if she could be here she’d be smiling like crazy it should be bragging to everybody for the next six months i swear to god and i’m also happy to see another person come to the grand family not a lot of us but we welcome you with more than open arms is is
