◾️ Mi vár rátok ebben a filmben? Íme, Rokolya Peti beszámolója:
“A Tokaji Kovács-tó hazánk egyik legjobb nagyhalas komplexuma. Szemet gyönyörködtető környezet, páratlan halállomány és kiemelkedő segítőkészség várja mindazokat, akik a tórendszer valamelyik vízre foglalnak állást. Nagy reményekkel vágtunk neki mi is ennek a tavaszi pontyos túrának, de tudtuk, nem lesz egyszerű horgászat. Amennyire bíztató, legalább annyira rapszodikus is tud lenni ez a horgászvíz, számtalan tényező befolyásolhatja a sikert és itt bizony minden lehetséges… Igyekeztünk mindenre a lehető legjobban felkészülni és most jókor voltunk jó helyen, melynek eredménye életünk egyik legemlékezetesebb horgászata lett. Tartsatok velünk az óriások földjére, egy akciódús hegyaljai nagypontyos kalandra!” 😉🐟

#haldorado #bigcarp #carpfishing

Welcome to the location
of our next carp trip. It’s not hard to figure out
where we are… On Lake Tokaj Kovács. As I stand here at the entrance,
we are at the beginning
of the fishing season. Come and join us! The Tokaj Kovács Lake
is a very complex fishing complex,
where I believe that everyone will find
a lake that suits them,
regardless of their fishing method. There’s a wide range
of opportunities for everyone, but I’m really drawn to one lake,
Lake Faházas, and it’s no coincidence,
as it’s home to huge carp. In this film you will see
the events of the week ahead. It’s no accident
that I speak in plural. I came to this fishing trip
with my friend Adam, who is already waiting
for us at spot four. Come on! As I said, I didn’t come here alone,
my friend Adam
and I are going fishing together. It is worth mentioning
that this is not our first visit here, as we spent three days
on this lake last October. Not easy conditions,
but you caught some nice carp. Welcome everyone! We caught some really harsh
autumn weather conditions
on our last fishing trip. A very strong cold front
had cooled the water in front of us, so the fish were catching
very strongly. However, one morning the sun came out
and my left-hand rod started to work, and within a short time
I managed to catch 3 carp over 20 kg
using the PVA bag technique. I will show you this later. But now the circumstances
are very different. You can see it in the environment
and in our clothes,
it’s almost summer. One thing is for sure, Lake Tokaj
and its surroundings remain beautiful. Let’s hope the water
has something exciting
in store for us. The afternoon sunshine
was replaced by a sudden thunderstorm
from behind Mount Tokaj. This also shows
how changeable the weather is here. We have tried to prepare
for this change, we have freshened the sticks,
we will see what
the change will bring. In the bright sunshine, the fish were up high,
clearly visible by drone,
basking in the shallows by the dozens. We will see,
we are waiting for the fish. There you go! Came in a smaller pants here
in the middle of the night. He made a pretty big bitch. He also picked up the sticks
and gave us a good tug on the top, because I wanted to show him,
and then in the midst
of all the noise, he escaped. This “dolphin”
will not become an amur photo. But he’s in the water, he’s swimming,
he’s in the right place. And we hope to show you a carp next. I raised it up to a nice comet catch. I’m definitely fighting a pond. The bag technique
was a catch here in the morning. We’ll be in touch with the fish soon. The night passed quietly. It’s incredible,
but we hear from several
anglers here that in Tokaj, on the Lake of the Chalets,
the night is quiet,
it doesn’t give, although I think the conditions are optimal,
but the morning
seems to have been catching. I hope it comes out. The fish come very slowly,
very slowly. For a moment I had a feeling inside
that he was stuck on something. I think it was. I compensated with a stick held high,
he kicked you out. Now it’s slowly
but surely coming towards me. I’ve been fighting
with the fish for almost 20 minutes. It would be nice if it were closer. This Tokaj mossy
back is in very good condition. I’ll be very curious
to see how big it is, but I don’t go for a mix
of guesses these days,
but I’d say more like over 25. The place comes
with half a bucket of pellets a day, which must be thrown in
by the anglers. On top of that,
everyone is obviously giving them
the best quality bait they can. It’s almost as
if I’ve been eating steak
or some good quality meat all my life. Fish are the same way
and they’re in damn good shape. However, they are very picky fish,
so it is not easy
to feed them with our bait, even though they are of
the highest quality. It’s as if, I told the guys,
you’re craving a little bit of chocolate with your good
meat or paprika. Now he looks
like he’s looking for a bit of a replay, but he’s certainly
going to be a very serious fish
in my opinion. Looks like this is the fish
we’ve been waiting for. Cheers, mate! I’m really rooting for you,
I’m really rooting for you. Make the pensive one,
she’s dancing here. Fhu, but I think it was worth
the wait. It looks the same to me. We have been close to the fish
very close, here is 6-8 meters. I would like to see it now. It’s just filthy strong,
so it’s an incredible category. These waters say many smart eggs. “Now, come down or don’t come down! It’s a cube lake, even a fool
can do it here.” Well I’m sitting
this one out now kids, but maybe life
will even the odds and give us
a serious fish in the lake. Believe me, we don’t have it easy. So top water, top fish,
but you really, really have to fight. Now it’s turning well. Adi! That’s it! Peti, it’s already in the bag. Behold, in all its glory,
this Tokaj pumpkin. Look, bomb fish. Cool, facing the wave,
getting fresh oxygen. He has a good back. Thank you for the experience! We had a pleasant surprise today,
as we woke up this morning not
to a catch, but to something better. Our friend Józsi came to visit us. That it’s a better thing
I might argue, but I’m glad. I think you’re having a good time,
you’re here, you’re stuck here, so we’ll get you in
for a bit of professionalism
if we can. And for me, carp fishing
is all about hanging out,
you know, coming out, saying hello to the neighbour,
hi, how are you,
what’s up and chatting here. We’re thinking about it,
because it’s not easy to catch fish and we asked the Rig Master
what he would recommend here? What I’ve seen you guys do now is
that I see that sinking bait
really works for you. Yes. I don’t know what kind
of hook bait you use and all that,
I haven’t looked at that exactly. The smaller sized baitfish
are forced in size 16, 20, so they are relatively fine,
and smaller and larger wafter,
bag technique. We operate with this,
but also very gently. And you tried pop up, didn’t you? We tried yes, spinner gadget,
but it didn’t work. There was nothing, nothing. I have never fished this water. You look at the conditions
of the water,
they get a lot of pellets, a lot of big fish and everything,
I think they’re totally used
to sinking pellets, small baits, so good choice of what you fish with,
I’d try that. I saw you tried pellets as well,
as a hook bait. That’s right, on a bait and switch. If you feed it with this,
it might be absorbed unsuspectingly
and then you will have success. You are not feeding him in vain. That’s right. He eats it, yes. You can use small lures
and then the pop up will not work. I see that there are
some very clever forerunners here too. I see you are using
the small lead weights. Yes, I do use it, and I would ask you
if you think it has any justification? I think so, because the hooking,
when the fish sucks in the hook
with the bait, it will hook it a little bit before the weight
of the whole lead hits it. So I think, I like these things
and I totally agree with that. This time I caught a fish
with a simple bait. A plain knotless knot,
15 lbs of small leader. However, we looked at the hook. I said it was perfect. You have corrected me a bit
that it is not so much. Maybe the forearm was too long. Yes, the length is always
as I think I’ve said in other films, and the optimum hook
is stuck right in the middle. Yes, yes. If you’ve just about got it
stuck outside,
you’re short on starters. If you have already hooked
the fish sideways, you have a long forehand
and the carp can turn sideways. He could play with it
a little bit, yes. And the problem is
that you’ve obviously hooked it
and grabbed it, but it’s easier to spit it out
and it doesn’t get stuck. I see a label in your box
here that immediately caught my eye. I haven’t tried it yet,
but it’s very popular
these days I know. Yes, I’ve shown that a lot. Do you prefer to use it? You talk a little bit
about how it works? What is its raison d’être? This is Danny’s predecessor. He developed that
after the first underwater disaster,
when he said I’m going to catch all the fish and I’m Danny,
and he didn’t, they watched that film,
they saw what happened there. Yes, there was also the forehand,
how it works, how the hook
works on the hook, how it works or works best,
and I think the important thing
with a forehand is that the hook can turn down,
suck in the fish
and want to get rid of the bait again. It works, it works
very well on a combi-rig
because there’s free movement of the hook, but equally on a spinner
or this rig it has a swivel in it and it can spin off
the hook to the hook. Yes, very interesting. It seems so alien at first,
but it certainly has a raison d’être. When you look at it,
it’s complicated to the eye. And there’s a lot of things
that are in there and everything, but I think there’s really
a justification for this fixture. There’s a lot of big fish
in this water but they’re not eating, there’s not a big feeding
at the moment again, is there? It is difficult. They also get the food,
the pellets by default, so we also get pellets for feeding,
we have to sprinkle it in. On top of that, of course,
they also feed, and obviously
each angler decides individually how much to feed,
so as to get the best quality bait. You are feeding them properly,
aren’t you? A little bit. Otherwise, not so much now. So now there has been a change
on this lake. Previously you could
only fish with casts and there were windows
of time when you could go out
on the water to feed. This is still there,
but now you can use
a feeding boat and I see that people don’t go out
on the water very much,
so they use boats to pull in randomly, sort of a big fish finder’s
spear for smaller feeding,
and we also use smaller feeding. There is one fixed point,
but for example, the one we fed better with krill
bojlink also had more catfish. So that’s how it’s set up,
so there are distractions. I also looked at this corner,
fed it, more amur came from there. So I’d rather brainstorm
that such a searching peca
and anyway it gave me the fish now. But you did say an interesting thought
about feeding and how you’d rather feed a fixed point
if you were fishing, and it struck me. But do you understand
when I told you how many places
there are on this lake now? Six places. Six places… River anglers are,
after all, handing each other the key,
as it were, to the anglers. Obviously there are
favourite spots in this place, which is immediately obvious,
I don’t know, a corner
or a small bush in this area. My thought when I asked this was
that there are 6 spots
and you can fish with 6 rods per spot. That’s right. And then you have 36 sticks,
and people create 36 separate feedings
on this relatively small lake. That’s right. And if you have so much feeding
all over the place,
I don’t think you have a concentrated place
where the carp will come in to feed
and where you can build something up. Yes. Obviously it’s hard to fish right now,
there’s not a lot of catches, I don’t know if the fish
are actually eating, so this foraging, I think it’s working now, it shows
that you’re catching everything,
but if you want to build something properly,
you need to build it
in a concentrated place. Yes. Yeah, well, we found a better spot,
one of those mud hoppers, we tried it, but I tell you,
that’s where the catfish came from,
two of them, so there you go. Anyway, yes, it seems dangerous now
that the catfish are active and you are fishing
with fishy stuff anyway. You just said you fish
with Krilles bojlits. That’s right. You are throwing pellets,
yes there is the danger
of the catfish getting at it. But our peanut bojlink
was taken by the amur, so these are things that I can
honestly say I didn’t expect. So what are you doing now? And then we sent up
the drone and 150-200 big carp were just floating
in the other half of the lake. Yes, they are standing in the corner. They’re gone like a jelly,
so now the wind is in our favour, I think there are a lot of fish
in this part of the water. And they’re tumbling
spectacularly on the water here, so when you caught the fish,
you could see it turning
several times before. Yes, you said that it turned
over there several times. I told you that’s
pretty much the part,
and he gave it to me in short order. Now one more question,
I am not a bait boat fisherman. How do you do it
if you’re not doing the search fishing and you always
want to pull into the same spot? Because I see you’re
not using a GPS boat. Well, here at the corner
it’s easy for me,
because actually there are a couple of points of support,
so a tree or a post or a lock,
and then I can see from that
to what distance I’m fishing. So for the retraction
you can actually use a marker
or some Marker Elastic. I can see that if it goes out,
I can unload the gear and then
I can fish accurately relatively. Then once you have a reference point
and the distance is on the spools,
it is marked. I think you can put the gear
there with an accuracy of 3-4-5 meters, especially in such
a big body of water. And it’s important,
and I think people are happy
to have that information, because a lot of people use
simple feeding boats, and yes, it’s important a lot of times
to go back to the same place
and not scatter feed the fish. That’s right. Good. Jossika, nice talking to you! Thank you and I will stay
a little longer
and see if you catch any fish. Of course. Thank you very much! We’ll try this prefix. I hope that we will meet again
and you won’t say what
a stupid thing I said to you… We will send you the photo. I want to get the honest opinion
back from you then, okay? Yes, we will do our best,
thank you very much! I thank you, that’s fine. Go, go, go! Good luck to you! Thank you! Let’s go! A surprise guest arrived,
I didn’t expect him to take on the Pineapple LEGEND PELLET WAFTER,
a brutal F1 carp hybrid. It’s certainly one of the largest
in the country and perhaps in Europe,
but we’ll measure it. Look! Very serious,
I am happier than a 25 carp. We measured the fish,
net weight about 9.7-8 kg. Well, it’s quite a specimen,
I’ll show you again. A brutal F1 carp-catcher hybrid
from Tokaji Kovács lake. Look! With great respect,
I welcome Mr. Miklós Kovács,
the owner of the pond system! In the next few minutes,
we’ll talk about the lake’s past,
present and future plans, and you’ll also give us
some interesting information
and useful tips. Welcome, Adam and
welcome to the viewers! We would like to give you
a very brief overview of our lakes, which were built in Tokaj
and around the villages
of Tiszanagyfalu in the last century. Our company has decades
of experience in operating these. We started here
primarily as a production pond. Then, years later, an idea came up
that we could sell fish in conjunction with a fishing experience
instead of fishing. This idea was actually stillborn
on some level, because it didn’t work
the way it was supposed to. Until my eldest son David
was entrusted with the task
of finding a good way to please people within the family,
and the economics
of these ponds were not diminished. He travelled the country
for a few months,
talked to several anglers who had more experience in fishing,
heard good things,
heard even better things, which we always
discussed when we got home and tried to develop
a concept based on that,
which would be unique to us. Or rather, it was necessary
for us to be able to identify with it. So the idea was born
that we would not primarily favour
meat anglers, so we would not fish for consumption,
but we would use a method that would allow us to implement
a sport fishing activity, or recreational fishing
with a combination
of recreation and fun. I found the idea interesting,
I didn’t quite understand it yet, as I don’t have much of a background
in fishing, I prefer to eat
the fish rather than catch it. However, I was curious
to see what was going on. One thing I experienced
over several years was that David always asked
for some money. Then, four or five years later,
I asked him, “David, there is no income here,
only expenditure. Of course, I knew
that everything that was raised
was put to very good use, and even the extra money
we put in from the wealth we earned in other
sectors of our business. I’ve seen a system emerge
that appeals to a lot of people. And we ourselves considered that we were providing
an entertainment
that was very healthy. In today’s world,
I tend to find that most people, when they think
about starting a business, look at
how much money they can make. I’m an advocate of defining what
it is that we do good
with the business that we do. And then if we do it right,
obviously it makes money. On the one hundred and ninety hectares
of farmland, we are
not motivated by turnover, but by the fact that we are putting
almost three thousand hundred kilos
of food on the table of society. And in doing so,
we contribute to people’s
well-being and make them happier. And with fishing,
we’re meeting nearly 3,000 anglers who are leaving happier
than when they came. Because he has had an experience
that may be life-changing for him. There are many people,
for example last year
there were hundreds of people who caught their first fish here,
setting individual records. If we look at 2024, we had 1961 carp over 20,
and for our guests,
because that’s all we assisted. Our biggest carp is currently 33,
34 kilos to be exact,
a few ounces over. Tokhal was the biggest at 47 kilos. And the most recent record,
by your hands,
is a hybrid carp carp derivative. How much did it weigh? This particular fish
weighed 9.8 kilos. A fantastic experience
for your catcher. I am very happy about that. This is obviously a national record, but perhaps not even far
off the world record for his species. There are so many other curiosities
to be caught in our lakes
that could be interesting or special. We also have albino catfish
and viza fish,
which are now very rare. We put these fish in these ponds
with one purpose in mind, to give our anglers
a personal connection with these fish. It’s very interesting,
they come as friends now, when they have caught
the same fish several times,
they have a name for these fish. And there may come a time
when we call them all by name. Most of our anglers
are very positive when they leave. We always exchange a few words,
a little tiny interview with those who leave our fishing
waters after a few days. I am glad to see
that we are remembered
with very good experiences, that in a small lake system
in the Tokaj hills
there is a small island in this complicated world
where you can calm down,
where you can quieten down and indulge in an activity
in an environment such as you see there,
where wild ducks
almost come close to people. In an environment like this,
which you can find
in very few places anymore. Guests arriving here will find
continuous improvements, development and a beautiful,
clean and cultured environment. There are three
recently completed chalets at Federes Lake, one of which is still
under construction, and I understand that there have been major
improvements to several
existing chalets. This is all for the convenience
of anglers and guests,
and I understand that there are other
developments planned for the lake
and the surrounding area. Yes, the boys say
that we have one constant,
and that is change. We are always trying to change
because we communicate with our guests
and they are our indicators. So from what they tell us,
we try to figure out
what direction to take. I have been asked
several times in recent years
how long will these lakes be operated as fishing ponds,
how long will they be operated
as fishing ponds? My answer then is that as long
as I see people leaving happier
than when they arrived. So, in English, we can give you
a relaxing and enjoyable experience
that makes anglers better. And when they go home,
they’ll be better husbands,
better fathers, better colleagues, because they’ll be calmer,
more balanced, more rested. We are very proud
to have our fishing lake and productive lake unit
at the foot of the Tokaj Mountain. Not that we could help it,
it was here. We obviously bought these at the time,
but it is still very good
that we are in such an iconic place, because not only can anglers
get to know and indulge their passion
when they visit us, but they can also visit the sights
and interesting places of the area,
because Tokaj and the Tokaj region have an almost millennial past,
the Tokaji Aszú
and the typical Tokaji wines, which can only be produced
here in the whole world,
are available here. It is good for us to know
that we can be an integral part
of this Tokaj-Hegyalja environment. Thank you very much
for your valuable thoughts! We spent a few days
here with the same values. We had an incredible time and
anyone who thinks they can identify
with these values should come and visit the lake
and try it out for themselves, you can be sure
to leave with a good experience. Those who have liked it,
we are sympathetic to, we are very welcoming to them
and we want to take on
board their suggestions, their advice, their assessments
to help us in the direction we want to go and
we want to keep showing them new
and better things about ourselves, about the area and
we want everyone who comes to us when they leave to leave
a happier person. After a relatively long silence,
I cut in for a fairly slow,
pulling bite. I see that my little son
Oliver has been lucky, he came to visit us
with his mother and sister. This fish showed
quite a sturdy resistance and found a new home in the new place
where it had been placed
and fed before noon. I am very confident
that we can show you
another nice carp. With such large fish,
the first thing to do after hooking is to dismantle the dip net and
put it straight into a weighing jig, then pick up the breast
and head into the water to photograph,
weigh and so on. So let’s go! His swimmers are in good position,
we transfer him in one move,
and Adi holds him together. Oh my God! It’s really hard. Believe it or not,
this fish came on the leader that Józsi Szalma tied
and that we presented. The bait was an eye of Indian Spice,
now it has left. Look! Working together
and succeeding together. The search for a new location
in the afternoon paid off,
as did the change of location. And a little more feeding. And a little more feeding,
that’s right. We have now abandoned caution. This could be the right one. We fed the new place well and
it seems to have been a good decision. Congratulations! Thanks! We were looking forward
to the first 25 and he delivered. Adika, as this is
an individual record, I would like to congratulate you
for the first time! Thank you very much! You earned it. And that’s why. Congratulations cimbora! That’s good! I’d like to talk
a little bit about the equipment
I use on this fishing trip. I brought 3 meter 2,75 libra
By Döme Black Edition
rods for this fishing. I have used these sticks
for a long time with satisfaction. They are very light,
graceful and work beautifully. Since we fish with a reel here
in Tokaj I thought it was perfect
for this fishing. The reel I use for the rods
is the By Döme Black Edition BC10000. I am very satisfied with it. They do their job perfectly. This is available
separately in several sizes. For this fishery I now use the normal
and the shallow spinning reel. The line on them is exactly
the Korda Subline in size 0,35. I really like this type, it’s perfect
for big fish retrieve carp fishing. Our early morning wake-up call
is this fish I’m fighting. He had a very good catch. I had a hunch not to let go
of the left corner,
but I changed it a bit. I pulled the end
fitting in a little closer,
not all the way out to the edge. I’m fighting a PVA bag
with small bait, Sweet Sin 4 BODY Wafter, size 10
and an old gentleman with a komoto. When we arrived here at number four,
my eyes were immediately caught
by the left-hand corner. I said to myself
that if I were a big fish, I would definitely rest there,
hiding from the world. The place didn’t perform to the level
I expected and thought it would,
but now the tables can easily turn. A small change,
even a few metres, is often enough. This fish came from one
of those 30-40 cm of mud. In fact, many people
on this lake are looking for it to be as hard as possible,
so the harder it is the better. You should also look
carefully at the muddy places. How smelly the sludge is. Are there any smaller snails,
larvae in it. Even at this time of year,
mosquito larvae
are already in abundance. These are what
the fish are looking for. Just offer them
a tasty morsel that they like, and we can have the kind
of morning fun I’m having. It’s interesting
how quiet the nights are here. We were wondering what
the reason could be. It may be that the feeding frequency
is less frequent. The fish are used to
being fed by humans
in the usual time windows. This is all just theory. They don’t eat like that
at night for some reason. That is a fact,
but the morning always gives you
a catch and a good fish. I hope that this time
will be no exception
and we will have this Big Mama. In his mouth is the little
4 BODY Wafter, see? It was a risky dive,
but years of routine and experience. That’s it, Petey! Thank you! Got it! Congratulations! Our time is up here at position 4,
but not for fishing. It’s time to pack up,
as we’re going to the opposite place,
to job one. This is the other,
shallower part of the lake. I’ll be very interested
to see what we get on that part. I don’t think we’ve had
any reason to complain so far. I hope that the continuation
will be just as good. Or even better. Let’s pack it up! My first fish
arrived at the new place. It came in with
a very slow, slow catch. I’ve been pulling for a few minutes,
but it’s swimming incredibly slowly,
gracefully and powerfully. I haven’t been able
to steal much line from him yet, I haven’t felt this resistance
from any of my fish so far, so I’m very confident
that I’ll be able to hook a giant,
but there’s still a long way to go. Let’s trust him! The rod is an incredible way
to convey the movement of the fish. You can feel each stronger fin strike. That’s it! The next big one! Wow, how big! Petey! Could be another record. Listen, it’s over 25 again. It must be over 25. I can’t believe I’m holding my second
fish over 25 during the trip. It’s a little over 25,
but still got it! This one came on the Hot Lava wafter,
just the small bait. That’s what they need now. We didn’t get much of a big one, but
if that’s what they’re looking for,
that’s what they’ll get. I raised it to an elementary catch. I just can’t pull on the fish,
it’s so damn heavy. This wind now seems to have pushed
the big fish this way. They came one by one. Now it’s my turn, maybe
this will be the biggest one yet. I am very curious. Like a flour sack. I have a special case,
my fish is stuck. He found something fishy,
so with a fishing licence, we quickly rang him, he approved,
we were going for fish health. It was a special case, as I said,
we had to go for the fish. This is a given,
and fish conservation is also
a concern for pond owners. The operation was a success,
so here is the fish. A little under 24 kilos,
we’re going to go for this one captain’s gourd,
23-24-25, doesn’t sound too bad. Look at that! And there you go. Brutal fish, with brutal fish! This is Tokaj! Now I’m going to show you what baits
and lures we used in our PVA bag mix, and how we put it together
and served it to the fish. For the PVA bag
we used Krill Force PVA Bag Mix,
this was the base. We used Krill Natur
and Krill Indian Spice products, supplemented with a small
Monster Pellet Box
in the Tuna Mosquito Larva finish. This was applied
in a one-to-one ratio. In an effort to keep the Krilles line,
we didn’t use the sprinkler
in the Monster Pellet Box on the feed, but instead used PVA Bag Liquid
from the Krill Force range. The Krill Indian Spice was added to these three packets
in its entirety,
mixed and fed to the fish. With these ingredients,
which include micro pellets,
crushed bojli and animal protein-rich grinds,
you get a mixture
that has a very strong krill flavour, with the addition
of various spices that work
very well in this warmed water and as you have seen,
the fish like it too. I am in the unique
and very fortunate position to be able
to shoot in this beautiful Tokaj setting the film of Peti Rokolya,
which I think
will not only be informative and a very good mood carp movie,
but also full of catches that illustrate
why anglers love to come here. We are now towards
the end of the tour,
I have had the opportunity to do a bit of fishing and now,
in response to a beautiful catch,
I have hooked my first big carp. A real slow-moving,
slow-moving, big carp slow baiting. Good little waiting game,
I’m very curious to see what’s fighting
at the end of the hook! That’s it! Got it! Wow! After a tremendously good bite,
here it is, in this floating cradle, probably my new
carp record of my life. With a perfect hook in the lower jaw,
removing the hook in one movement! Now it’s the moment of truth,
we put this fantastic carp
on the scales! That’s it! So, how much?! 26. Minus 1.8. Then 24.2 kilos
is the exact weight of the carp. We measured earlier
that this XL Fox floating weigher
weighs 1 kilo 80 grams in the water, and we subtracted this uniformly
for each fish, so 24 kilos 20 grams. I managed to beat my personal
record of 21 kilos 78 carp,
which was 21 kilos 78 before. Beautiful! You’ll know what that means, Tomika! Ayyyyy! Exactly that! This means exactly that. We are still waiting for the photo! We will wait. Well, there you have it! An almost 25 kilo beautiful
Tokaj carp! Wonderful, thank you! It’s incredible the dimensions,
even with my two arms reaching over! And I don’t have short arms,
but they are very big! He is regaining his strength nicely
and is now swimming away. Great! Thanks Peti! In the following,
I would like to show you step by step
the PVA Bag end fittings we use. Let’s look at the components
that make up this fitting. The main ingredient
of this lure is Haldorado PVA Lead
in a size of 93 grams. This is followed by a quick clamp,
a rubber cone,
a Korda Supernatural 25 lb braided hook leader line
with a 6” Krank beardless hook
with a medium swivel, and at the end of the leader
is a Krill Force Hard Hook Wafter
with Indian Spice flavour. The only thing left to do
is to fill the prepared mix, final equipment
into an M-size Korda PVA bag,
let’s see the steps. This package includes a filling tool,
which is handy
for filling the small pouch. The way I
do it is to pour a small amount in. I put the hook on top of it,
then fill the bag, almost full. Then I put the lead in,
it needs to be compacted a little. Once compacted, a tiny bit of saliva
is used to attach the PVA bag
to the PVA lead stem. A little help and it will stick. What is a very important step
is that this bag
needs to be punched in several places. Failure to do so
may result in it remaining
on top of the water. In addition, also for faster
dissolving and air removal, I cut off the two corners
of the PVA bag, which also helps the water
to flow in and sink faster. Now everything is ready,
you can go in the water
and wait for the most beautiful carp. This is a beautiful fish too. And it is now mirrored. What big scales he has,
wow, what a nice mirror. My biggest carp ever arrived. I am very happy and thank you guys
very much for your help. Everyone played a major part
in this fishing trip. Tomi on the other side of the camera,
hats off to you,
Ádika has been my faithful partner for a thousand years
and this joint work
is embodied in such beautiful fish. Believe me, it’s not
every day you get to hold
such a beautiful carp in your hand. Mutatom. An excellent mirror. Look! It is a quieter time of night. The fish are taking it easy,
so I thought I’d introduce you to some of the lures
we use successfully here in Tokaj. These are Krill Force Krill Natur
bait in size 20, Krill Force Indian Spice
in size 16 and the local pellet. But what is this local pellet? This is a very high nutritional value,
highly fishy, good quality pellet
of roughly 12 mm, which is given to anglers
daily for all posts and is mandatory. In fact, we have found
that the fish demand it. These three components
were the most commonly used
in our feeding. That was the basis. I would like to mention
that we caught fish
with several baits, but the one I would like to highlight
is the Hard Hook
16 mm Indian Spice Wafter, which we used to catch our
biggest fish. For completeness,
I’ll also show you how I baited
with this catchy balance bait. A simple but effective method. In my hand, I have
a simple but proven inline
lead tackle. It’s actually a roughly 15 cm,
12-15 cm long hook. A thinner flurocarbon,
namely Korda IQ. A size 8 Korda Krank beardless hook. A simple German Rig, which I used
with great satisfaction here. You don’t need many accessories,
as I said flurocarbon, a hook. I also like to use a hookbait,
a micro swivel and a hook bead,
which is a small rubber stopper. I bait this one,
no more, the Bait Floss
and it’s simply ready to go. Let’s get it done! There are two sizes in the box. I have used the smaller one here
preferably and effectively. I cut a small piece
of lollypop and slip it
over the micro’s rotating eye. I simply thread the bait
onto the micro swivel. I cut off the calisely. I burn it with the lighter. This is more than enough,
it keeps you fixed. Why were these hooks needed? It has worked
for me many times anyway. I have experienced several
of these in a single pinch. I attributed this to the fact
that the carp just bite
and sucked on it. We’re talking about very wary
fish that are seen a lot, so I thought this simple little bait
when you’re very close to the hook. The sooner you catch the fish and
this needle-sharp figure-eight hook, the easier it is
for these finicky fish
to pick up on it unsuspectingly. I should also mention
that each site comes
with a very cool little boat, which is a great help
in getting on the water, finding a place
to stay and then feeding you. We made full use of this,
we went out in the boat,
found the places we thought were good, fed from the boat and also used the bait boat
to pull the mixture
in with the bait to the right places. So we found that the fish
were demanding more feeding and
feeding with these different sizes
of baits during this period. However, they preferred to use
the smaller baits,
but that’s what makes fishing so beautiful,
that we have to figure out
these little tricks ourselves. But we’re here to help you
to be as successful as possible. We finished our fishing in Tokaj,
I think that we had
a dream carp fishing adventure, even though we started fishing
together with my friend
Adam not yesterday. Yes Peti, we have been fishing
together for 20 years, chasing carp,
but we have never caught carp of the quantity, quality and size
that we caught on this trip,
so it was incredible for me too. That’s right,
my friend, let’s not forget that we need a water of this category,
like the wooden lake
of the Tokaj Kovács Lake. Fish of this size,
because you can only catch them
where they are, but I think that with the right bait,
the right equipment, and the preparation
we started this fishing with, learning from the previous one,
everything worked out
and we had our dream fish. And if you liked the film,
