Those who know Signal Mountain Golf and Country Club, know it’s often a tale of two nines.
The back nine has a state park feel, which is fitting as it sits just a few hundred yards from Prentice Cooper State Park.
We featured hole 16 which is a risk reward par 4. It’s a dogleg right but everything feeds left towards the downward slope of the mountain.
A high fade with a driver is the risky play but when needing to make up ground it can be worth it.
A mid iron leaves you with something mid left to an elevated green. There’s not an easy shot on this hole to be had.
However there are easy mountain views to take in. The back nine features a lot of nature and rolling mountain views.
