Is #calebwilliams ready to explode in Year 2? Can #gervondexter turn into an #allpro? Is Bagent a candidate for an extension and what he sees in himself as a possible starter one day in the NFL.
Deep dish or thin crust đđ?? #chicagocubs or #whitesox? And does he REALLY believe the Bears are built to win #superbowl 60?!?!
Plus, Bagent discusses his offensive skills camp for grades 6-12 coming up on May 23rd
The guys hit all the topics in this wide ranging interview with Bears QB Tyson Bagent.

welcome into a special edition of our BearsÂ
recap I’m David Kaplan That’s Ryan McGuffy And  our special guest is Bears quarterback Tyson BentÂ
Tyson welcome into our studios Man it’s amazing  in here Thank you guys for having me So you areÂ
going into year three Yes sir And I said to you  when you walked in the door have they talked toÂ
you about an extension yet Because when you got  your opportunity to play two years ago whenÂ
Justin went down two and two played well and  it looked like the offense moved pretty well whenÂ
you were in there How much would you like to stay  here with the Bears What they’re cooking nowÂ
Yeah I mean I don’t think anybody loves what’s  going on you know here in Chicago more than moreÂ
than I do especially with the new staff in town IÂ Â think everything so far has been just you knowÂ
just trying to take it all in just because of  how amazing it is So I mean yeah like I justÂ
told y’all nobody nobody wants to be around  here more than me So I’m all ears You have quiteÂ
the unique like your three-year journey in the  NFL Just just how you got to the Bears been reallyÂ
well documented obviously like being an undrafted  D2 guy but Justin’s the guy when you get hereÂ
Then yes last year you have Caleb the whole flu  situation the firing and now the excitement of BenÂ
Johnson that’s a roller coaster to ride in itself  regardless of what position you play But beingÂ
in the quarterback room what have you learned  about yourself while you watch everything goingÂ
around you like whether it’s new quarterbacks  number one overall picks coaching changes howÂ
has that impacted you or do you still put your  head down regardless and say I got a job to doÂ
regardless of who’s in charge Yeah I think that  there a lot a lot of a lot of that has has to doÂ
with it Just the the simple fact of realizing that  no matter where you are who’s in the room who’sÂ
ahead of you whatever’s going on it really does  nothing to try and like put make that as a focalÂ
point rather than because as we know the NFL is a  what have you done for me recently business EveryÂ
day you got to show up and do whatever is asked  of you at a high at a high level So that’s whatÂ
I put my focus on And um yeah I would say that’s  just like overwhelmingly the most important thingÂ
I’ve realized so far So for people out there that  are going “Wow we got the number one coach in theÂ
hiring cycle The Bears stepped up paid him big  money brought this amazing staff.” I’m not askingÂ
you to say anything negative about who was here  but what is it like having Ben in the buildingÂ
because Ryan Paul said to me on the radio a week  or two ago I can promise you accountability withÂ
Ben Johnson that’s not an issue Yeah And I think  I that was noticeable from day one I mean thisÂ
is the guy you know he is the guy that everybody  in the league wanted you know in their buildingÂ
And I think you know thank God we got him in our  building because like I just said from the jumpÂ
it has been he’s been on us He hasn’t wavered  um at all No matter who’s messing up everybodyÂ
gets the same uh Ben Johnson every single day So  um you know him the whole rest of the staff thatÂ
he brought in it’s been uh it’s been very pleasant  for all the players to be able to take in theÂ
last couple weeks Yeah I mean we we in Chicago way  prior to you coming here have have sold hope andÂ
faith Like that’s what all we’ve had We haven’t  had a lot of championships And it’s not just theÂ
Bears it’s the Cubs it’s the White Sox it’s the  Blackhawks it’s the Bulls Hope and faith And andÂ
every year Chicago wins the off seasonason and it  feels that way this year but everyone is a littleÂ
bit like going into it I think like this like we  got the dude we got the guy everybody wanted it’sÂ
year two for Caleb there’s all these weapons Are  you buying in to the hope and faith for the firstÂ
time Because like you don’t want to sit there and  go we’re going to go you know 12 and five and makeÂ
the playoffs But this team on paper it feels like  for the first time it does feel different andÂ
I don’t want to buy into the narrative like  okay we got the guy and then something doesn’tÂ
play out right The schedule’s going to be the  schedule There’s some legit like the north is theÂ
north but at least for where the direction and the  arrow of this franchise for the first time in aÂ
long time it certainly feels like it’s actually  headed up Listen you asking the wrong guy I sayÂ
the Bears are winning the 2026 Super Bowl Let’s  effing go Oh I love that But on a serious note onÂ
a serious on a serious note if you don’t you know  it’s one thing to win the Super Bowl Holy [ __ ]Â
That’s what everybody’s trying to do right One  team gets to do it every year There’s stillÂ
more than 10 teams that haven’t done it ever  So it’s so hard to do It’s unbelievable HoweverÂ
if if there is not uh significant progress made  uh from past years to this year it would have beenÂ
because something drastic had to have happened  Like there is absolutely no way with the way withÂ
you know the players that we have on paper right  The them shing up those big boys up front rightÂ
Paying those big boys right Paying the head coach  that is all knowing that everybody wanted on onÂ
their on their team Um I think with all these  thing in place and the way that they’re goingÂ
about teaching us everything uh it would it would  take something very significant for there to notÂ
be any noticeable uh positive change going into  this year Complexity of the offense you had threeÂ
coordinators last year The complexity of what you  had the first two years and what you’re dealingÂ
with now from a quarterback position in terms of  the offensive scheme Yeah you know I think we’reÂ
still getting into it right now um definitely have  uh they definitely been painting a very goodÂ
picture so far uh since we’ve been there Um  I would say any NFL offense is pretty complexÂ
Um but the diff the biggest difference that I’m  uh seeing right now is the you know the theÂ
mixture of of Ben and everybody that he brought  with him um and the way that they are teachingÂ
us what we are responsible for on every play  um I think has been the biggest difference Um heÂ
puts a lot of the focus not necessarily on the  defense but you know what is our job on the playÂ
and how perfect can we do that job each and every  play and just very detail oriented um everythingÂ
all the dots connect everything makes sense um  and he’s expecting and demanding um you know maybeÂ
not greatness but for you to at least be striving  or to look like you’re striving for that So thoseÂ
are the that’s the biggest takeaway from um the  difference in offenses uh the past three years SoÂ
we’re taping this on the day that the schedule’s  released So pardon my prematurity here of askingÂ
you to pick someone and not to single anyone out  but I’m going to give you mine and then I wantÂ
to hear yours Either side of the football like if  you’re predicting if you’re projecting a breakoutÂ
player in 2025 I think it’s Rome I think Rome’s  going to take a massive jump from year one to yearÂ
two Who would you pick Any side of the football  I mean you guys have barely been at HowisÂ
Hall Yeah But yeah you know on the you know  I’ll pick one from me I’ll pick one from eachÂ
side of the ball Okay Um I think that I think  that Caleb will have a huge year this year UmÂ
just because of all the guys that they they  brought in and and you know him and and asÂ
well as the staff you know working together  all of us you know just getting it rightÂ
I think he’ll have a huge year this year  um and will benefit very positively from all theÂ
changes that have been made Um and then on the  defensive side of the ball um you know my favoriteÂ
player is TJ Edwards but he’s a breakout player  already You know he he’s the man Javon DexterÂ
first team all pro Let’s go Let Every time I see  that dude he’s getting after it some way somehowÂ
Um and just takes his business very seriously  um and is you know practices just like the gameÂ
So I say I’m going big Jervon Dexter love it of  what you do day by day Yes Caleb WilliamsÂ
is there but as we like to say you’re one  play away from let’s go Cale Caleb Z you got toÂ
go in or Caleb’s up you got to go in How do you  prepare that mentality on a team now that RyanÂ
Paul said it’s time to win football games period Yeah I would say just because in my head I I’m notÂ
exactly sure what the alternative is other than to  um do your job do exactly what the hell thatÂ
they’re asking me to do Um and nobody really  loves their I don’t think anybody loves their jobÂ
more than I do on the whole face of the planet Um  so that’s really enough motivation for me to umÂ
you know [ __ ] get after like my life is on the  line every single day And you know self-proclaimedÂ
self-proclaimed I think I’m a bad dude as well So  so so I got to stay ready cuz you know just likeÂ
you said whether you know wherever you know would  love for it to be here but you know here or notÂ
here you know you know the the the storm is coming  you know the storm This is a quote from you knowÂ
Ben last couple weeks ago The storm is coming So  I you know we got to be ready for it So it’s aÂ
natural transition to what I want to ask you at  some point anyway because look it’s no secretÂ
like the ultimate goal for you is that you’re  the dude everyone’s talking about to be as theÂ
starter whether it’s here or somewhere else That’s  the goal of you to be in the National FootballÂ
League I’ve seen your name attached to things now  Like a year ago people were trying to figureÂ
out who Tyson B or a year and a half ago people  are like “Who the hell’s Tyson Bean?” Now teamsÂ
are going “Are is this guy available?” Because  they know about you They’ve seen film of you TheyÂ
There’s Who’s asking Who’s asking if I’m available  Well I can tell you the New Orleans Saints theÂ
day Derek Carr retired We’re about Tyson Bee’s  name became a hot topic in the Bayou So not thatÂ
you try to follow the smoke and mirrors of social  media and all that stuff but in NFL circles yourÂ
name is being discussed as other teams are going  we don’t know about the future of X How does thatÂ
that certainly can’t motivate you but the fact  that your name has gone from undrafted free agentÂ
to teams are thinking about you as a possibility  as their starter You’re not where you want to beÂ
yet but you’re that is showing progression of who  you can be and what the league is thinking of youÂ
now Yeah And I think that that is all wonderful  Um but you know also I know you know very muchÂ
more than anybody else that there it’s it’s a lot  of work that needs to be done um before that UmÂ
and it’s not really something that you can really  just sit there and think about because I I’m aÂ
bit you know you got to be where your feet are And  right now I am all in loving it here in ChicagoÂ
for the Chicago Bears Playing my role doing my job  to the best of my ability And whatever comes afterÂ
that is great But in the meantime in between you  know we just got to we got to keep getting readyÂ
so that we are ready for you know that moment  whatever it may be cuz the storm is coming manÂ
It’s coming You got to be ready for it Don’t let  it Don’t let Don’t let the uh um what did it sayÂ
in the in the movie just now with Michael B Jordan  He said uh jump on the work Don’t let the workÂ
jump on you You don’t want to be you don’t want  to be you know unpleasantly surprised So we sitÂ
in this office every day and we quote movie lines  It’s what we do Mhm Because we just have fun MhmÂ
There’s some movie you’re not you want a mindless  40 minutes and you flip Oh that’s on I’m going toÂ
watch the last 40 minutes What movie would that  feature Oh man Semipro is a good one Elf is a goodÂ
one I’m going down the Will Frell route Uh Will  Frell’s the man Um old old Yeah I mean yeah thoseÂ
are my two that that’s clicking right now I like  the Avatar Hold up [Music] Um the uh fighter pilotÂ
movie one or two Top Gun Wow Top Gun Maverick Wow  So I adopted a golden retriever whose birthdayÂ
was yesterday We’ve lost him one yesterday And  you know what his name is Ma Hey listen Uh I meanÂ
that that that’s arguably uh I mean one and two  you know I don’t know which one’s better I agree IÂ
mean I feel like two better I mean yeah And that’s  that and that never happens That never happensÂ
So yeah Solid The best What’s the rel What’s the  quarterback room like with you and Caleb I knowÂ
you know you guys come from different Case Yeah  Case Keen I was going to ask about Case but likeÂ
just the room itself in the last 12 plus months  The relationship the fun that you guys can haveÂ
in the room outside the room because you come  from two different backgrounds two differentÂ
programs You know you got the Heisman you have  undrafted you have 1011 What is that dynamic likeÂ
and how much It’s probably a question a little bit  for Caleb too but like how have you helped himÂ
and how has he helped you Well I’ll say Heisman  and D2 Heisman Um fair And yeah but with theÂ
quarterback room I mean it’s it’s probably as  good as you can get right now I mean everybodyÂ
everybody in the room knows that you know yes of  course individually we all got to strive and weÂ
all got to get better and we all got stuff that  we need to work on and and that definitely getsÂ
done and there’s no shortage of that getting done  Um but there’s an understanding of you know kindÂ
of you know we’re all there to help and provide  so that 18 could be the best that he could be onÂ
the field Um and I think that hanging out with him  this spring being around him already can obviouslyÂ
see um jumps from year one to year two just a just  from a general understanding of everything that’sÂ
going on Um and I think you know me young AR AR16Â Â um being there from last year I think that offersÂ
you know a comfortability and then adding case now  to the room I mean you talk about a guy you knowÂ
especially somebody like me that you know is still  really in search of how can I continue to getÂ
better What a guy to be able to talk to about  any different situation that you could possiblyÂ
be in Being a freaking guy for a franchise being  the backup being on the practice squad I meanÂ
the dudeity the dude longevity I mean yeah my  whole routine is is different now you know kind ofÂ
thanks to Case Keenum and him kind of offering and  his little tidbits on on what he think what he’sÂ
done and um then obviously me you know just trying  to be a sponge and everybody else in the roomÂ
Um I think kind of just gravitates towards you  know asking him a lot of the questions So uh it’sÂ
great And then obviously you’ve got JT Barrett as  our freaking quarterback coach I mean what theÂ
heck I’m going to How freaking How amazing is  that Cuz I’m a Buckeye fan I mean if you’re fromÂ
from if you’re from Ohio I mean wow this you built  a statue of this mug Like here here’s I’m hereÂ
Here’s what I was gonna say Remember last was  it two years ago I was like “Cap take a look TakeÂ
a look at the Detroit Lions coaching staff.” Like  I’m talking take a deep dive look and look atÂ
the amount of NFL experience on the staff You  have Antoine Randall out of Barrett You have HankÂ
Freillley on the offensive line Scotty Montgomery  is their running back’s coach Aaron Glenn wasÂ
their DC And and there’s guys I met I think  uh Oh was it Yeah And you had their tight end’sÂ
coach was Steve Hayen or something And I’m like  dude former players matter J John Fox was a seniorÂ
defensive assistant just up and down the sidelines  the guys coaching two Super Bowls And I’m havingÂ
to Google half the names across the league not  just in Chicago because I’m like man I’m tellingÂ
you those things those guys resonate with dudes  who are suiting up every day Is that true YeahÂ
I would Yeah there’s definitely a um there’s  definitely a different level I think of maybeÂ
not competence but maybe just deep understanding  um when somebody is teaching you something thatÂ
he has physically you know done or tried to do Um  so I think that even especially with JT somebodyÂ
that’s as young as him he will do the drill first  and be like hey this is what we’re you know thisÂ
is what we’re doing and he can you know was in  the NFL does it at a high level So um I thinkÂ
there is definitely there’s a part of that that  definitely makes a lot of sense and I think thatÂ
we’re we we’re filled with those on our staff now  Al Harris Eric Benemy Jim Dre So running I meanÂ
name whoever you want Press Taylor like Yeah name  Now the Bears are going to be this like we knowÂ
it’s a copycat league If this works if this model  works everyone’s going to be just carbon copyÂ
It was like the Detroit Lions model Now it could  be the Chicago Bears model And for years in thisÂ
town people are like “What if the OC gets plucked  by another job?” I said “Name one that has.”Â
Yeah No I would love for that to happen in this  town because that means shit’s going right We’reÂ
winning and there’s a factory that’s being like  that’s that’s actually producing coaches and aÂ
tree at House Hall for once and not the other way  around It’d be great if that happened So you’reÂ
at Sheepard There’s no NIL at Sheepard right  my senior my senior year but it might have beenÂ
a little shady We won’t get into it We won’t get  into it Statute of limitations So essentiallyÂ
no Okay So if you were playing now in college  and phone rings you got one year left at ShephardÂ
You’re setting all these records and it’s a power  five Go you want to transfer I’ll give you 500Â
grand Do you do that or you go “No I’m going to  stay right where I’m at.” Because it’s like I seeÂ
guys playing for four different colleges in four  years I hate it Yeah Yeah I mean there there’sÂ
two sides to that story You know what I mean 100%Â Â You know I mean I’m a little bit of a weirdo I IÂ
didn’t even necessarily stay at Shephardd for any  other reason that I was way too scared to leaveÂ
home Right But if you’re not scared to leave home  I mean you got to take the $500,000 right I meanÂ
my goodness 500,000 Yeah What are we talking about  You know how many dudes make it to the NFL NobodyÂ
Yep 1% of That’s about how many Nobody So yeah  you got to Yeah you got to So it’s really just aÂ
shame on uh NC on the NCAA Um that it got to this  that that it’s like this Yeah Or that there’sÂ
not a uh that there’s not a ceiling Yeah Like  all right guys You can make you know $100,000Â
a year Okay I think that should be for freshman  like you’re paying these guys are getting so muchÂ
money up front for what they could be doing rather  than the other way around of here’s your 100 grandÂ
base and if you become the guy we think you could  be there’s 8 to 10 million waiting for you juniorÂ
senior year that’s the way I think the the I mean  wow I mean when you really just take a step backÂ
and you really are like you know what did Arch  Manning sign for $10 million to go to TexasÂ
yeah the kid Michigan Blair but look at look  at look at Shadur and look at Urs just got a snapÂ
he’s going to make what 50,000 Quinn Yeah He’s a  seventh round pick He made more money at Texas NowÂ
he looks like a dumbass for coming coming out and  going to the NFL Like that’s how crazy it’s gottenÂ
And like when you think about like the how much  how the the number of percentage of people thatÂ
don’t even have like $1,000 Yep And then we’re  sitting here talking like you got the you gotÂ
the situations happening like at the University  of Tennessee with their quarterback of like oh noÂ
I’m out like “Oh okay Y’all give us some money.”  Well I’mma hold out and make more money Like wowÂ
Yeah You know cuz then wow I mean cuz then there’s  essentially it’s like you’re less hyped to make itÂ
to the NFL So then you would be like part of part  of make it to the NFL was like “Oh my gosh nowÂ
my people are now me and my people are straight.”  Yep Hallelujah Now it’s like these dudes areÂ
like “Oh yeah going to rookie mini camp Just  got picked up.” And there’s no handouts anymoreÂ
Yeah Like there’s no more BC dude It’s everyone  on campus And if you don’t earn your keep we goingÂ
to see a game We go every year to a a basketball  game at an amazing arena So this year we went toÂ
Kansas Nice It was incredible Last year we went  to Duke Yep And saw Cameron Indoor Stadium HaveÂ
you ever had a chance Probably not because you  been playing Is there a football venue you go I’dÂ
like to just get a couple beers and go to a game  and tailgate there M man I’m going to be honestÂ
Call call me bias There is no better game day  atmosphere than the Shepherd’s University Dude theÂ
Shepherd University homecoming week is by far the  best game day atmosphere that I have been to whenÂ
I’m thinking about where I want to go and just  drink a couple beers Dude if I want to go watchÂ
a football game okay you know I might go Michigan  Ohio State okay at at Michigan And I think thatÂ
would be pretty electric Could you imagine going  to a game at Shephard with that guy That would beÂ
Wow Are you the biggest thing to ever come out of Oh Um yes Yeah Yeah It’s okay to say yes Yeah probablyÂ
Here’s what here here’s what I you you said you  were scared to leave home but you have this auraÂ
and confidence about you that I absolutely love  And some people might get rubbed the wrong way byÂ
saying “Oh it’s arrogance.” I think it’s complete  confidence just sitting next to you right here TheÂ
way you’ve carried yourself thus far in the NFLÂ Â So when you had to go pack up your bags and go toÂ
Chicago and leave home nervous What was that like  Shoot man It was like It was like immediate likeÂ
“Oh my gosh celebration I got picked up by the  Bears Wow this is wonderful.” And then it was likeÂ
the next day the anxiety because I went hard that  night with my with my buddies because we made itÂ
to the NFL I was like “Oh my.” I looked up how far  away is Chicago from Martinsburg West VirginiaÂ
And then I saw 11 hours And then I was like  “Damn.” And then I got there and then I rememberÂ
the first practice that wasn’t the greatest I was  kind of sitting in my room and I was just like “OhÂ
my gosh this is exactly what happens to every kid  when they go off to college or when they freakingÂ
like get a new job somewhere and they freak out  and they come back immediately.” Um but you know IÂ
got great parents I got good family So they helped  me through it And then four days later I neverÂ
felt like that again So it was all good First  time they said to you um not when you just got putÂ
in Justin’s out thumb injury your starting What  was that experience like Um yeah So he came off toÂ
the sideline and you know initially didn’t really  think anything happened cuz he got tackled andÂ
yeah he was like on the ground for a second but  then he popped up and he ran off He was runningÂ
off to so I’m like “Okay yeah dang.” I’m like  “He’s fine.” Right So then I we walk up to whereÂ
where the you know QBs and the QB coach kind of  congregate in between drives and I see his thumbÂ
is completely dislocated So I’m like I’m like hey  I just I’m like hey here we go Like here we goÂ
And then I’m warming up and quarterback coach  talking to me And shout out to Andrew JanokcoÂ
my guy Good Janoko is a good dude I I miss him  Um he’s talking to me about a bunch of [ __ ]Â
and he’s like making corrections on the call  sheet and I said “Coach let’s you tell whoeverÂ
that the game plan is the game plan You y’all  call whatever y’all call whatever you want.” AllÂ
right let’s roll All right let’s do this And then  uh Yeah it was that was it was crazy though AndÂ
your first start was was that the Raiders First  start was at home against the Raiders I I wasÂ
at that game and that the the fan buzzed for  that game to see you play It was going sidewaysÂ
a little bit with the I think everybody was ready  for something new And then this town No one lovesÂ
an athlete like the backup No one loves anybody  more than the backup quarterback in this townÂ
That’s how it’s been forever and always I hope  that that changes No offense but the buzz whenÂ
you led the team down did you score a rushing  touchdown in that game or I can’t remember ThatÂ
was the Minnesota game The Minnesota game Okay  I just remember it was like that’s that’s whenÂ
all the butt then it was like secret man Yeah  Then we put a ass spanking on the Raiders to endÂ
that What How long was that streak It was ugly 12Â Â Yeah it was bad It was like more than a year YeahÂ
Yeah Yeah There’s been a lot of those streaks Wow  In this town And you won Wow Well I think thatÂ
ignited like a eightgame home win streak Yeah  Right Into the next year Yeah Into Yeah Yep WowÂ
What I think is cool too is you talk about being  like this you know the small kid from the smallÂ
town and then look what you’re doing now This  this is you’ve done this You did a camp last yearÂ
but talk about what you’re doing here coming up on  May 23rd because I think it’s awesome what you’reÂ
doing for kids Perfect Yep Just so I don’t mess  this up All right May 20 May 23rd 2025 Uh thisÂ
coming next week we are doing a offensive skills  camp at Glenbook Glennbrook North High School homeÂ
of the Spartans They’re gracious enough to let us  use their facility It is for grades 6 throughÂ
12 and you can register through the QR code  right here on this pamphlet Pay however you wantÂ
um with how it says on the pamphlet And you can  see it’s 6:30 p.m check-in Camp is uh starts atÂ
7:30 So we’re under the lights baby So it should  be fun Friday night lights Friday night lightsÂ
Let’s go It went to the camp Yeah And we had  a good time And this one is This one’s going toÂ
be way better This one’s going to be way better  Look look how like Tyson looks like a completelyÂ
different dude with the locks Jackson’s digging  He wore the Tyson Beijing shirt I love it I’ve gotÂ
a can Yeah it was a smart it was a smart move on  his part to be uh and your dad said “Hey get overÂ
here Get over here.” I just think it’s super cool  what you’re doing You know you don’t No no nobodyÂ
has to do this type of stuff Yeah and for you to  be you know the the backup quarterback of theÂ
Bears and embracing your own opportunity here  and giving back to kids I I just think that’sÂ
a guy who gets it And there’s just not a lot of  guys who come through here that all the time theyÂ
get it And I think it’s really cool what you’re  doing for uh for for the people of Chicago andÂ
Chicagoland And check out that QR code if you’re  if you’re interested in going because it’s a greatÂ
opportunity The weather’s turned and rain or shine  you see it It’s pouring down rain I promise youÂ
that that guy right there sitting next to us he’ll  be out there Hey football’s an outdoor sport atÂ
the end of the day That sure is Doesn’t matter how  many domes they build It’s an outdoor sport WaitÂ
what’s your opinion on the matter Are you cool  with Arlington Heights or you want the lakefrontÂ
Oh my gosh man We should have been indoors about  25 years ago Goodness gracious No 4,000 passer myÂ
ass Y’all go y’all go stand outside Y’all go stand  out there My goodness Little chilly a littleÂ
windy The chili is fine Chili is fine But that  wind is got a mind of its own You You didn’t seeÂ
the meme where the pope there was a a meme about  there there’s a pope from Chicago before thereÂ
was a 4,000 yard pastor in Chicago Crazy Well  that’s getting that’s getting broke this year ButÂ
but also back to the camp Yeah As much as I would  like to take all that credit luckily for me um IÂ
have a great uh great support system that helps  put things like that into place that I can thenÂ
show up at and then we all have a great time Um  so it’s definitely a conjoined effort um on thatÂ
end But uh yeah kids are going to have a great  time They always have a great time We always haveÂ
a great time uh doing it So um under the lights  doesn’t really get a whole lot better than thatÂ
Deep dish or thin crust Um I’m going deep dish  deep dish Uh lumaladis puads Pquads I I like IÂ
mean they’re pretty similar They’re pretty similar Love it I love it I love it I love it I loveÂ
it The second quiz question that he’s going  to pass because I already know because we talkedÂ
about it Socks or Cubs Give me the socks Give me  the socks Here we go Screw the Cubbies Screw theÂ
Cubies So he’s okay being the underdog I like it  I like I like him Hey no but hey you know hugeÂ
shout out I’ve been getting that you know I cut  the hair off Yeah Um shout out big shout out toÂ
to my boy PCA on the Cubbies You guys do have a  little bit of Let’s get it Love it Love it YeahÂ
PCA’s love it It’s fun to scare me to anybody at  least it’s somebody with some swag And would thatÂ
be so any other you PCA would be your comp if you  were comping a baseball player or anybody elseÂ
in this town I guess so I guess they keep putting  pictures of us side by side I’m like man that isÂ
No we got to make that happen We got to make the  PCA Tyson Begent reunion I like it I like it TheÂ
Union go sporting events as a fan Um yeah I go to  I go to Shepard I go to Shephard University Uh allÂ
sports events I go to Cubs the Chicago Cubs games  Um I’ve been to um obviously Chicago White SoxÂ
games and I’ve been to [Music] um couple Bulls  games and uh yeah basically and then the h what’sÂ
the hockey team The Blackhawks Yes the Blackhawks  That was my first hockey game Um and that wasÂ
also time So yeah all the Chicagoland sports  and all Shepard University sports is where whereÂ
my sports watching goes right now So if you look  at Shephard University notable people because I IÂ
wanted to I wanted to pull it up Tyson’s listed as  number one Now it is in alphabetical order but ifÂ
you go down the list it’s like judge congressman  governor Randy Moss man Well I’m talking aboutÂ
Shepard University Oh Shephard University Brentton  Doyle who plays for the Rock Hello Hello Golden GÂ
best player in the MLB Shout out to Brenton Doyle  I knew that would get for the Colorado Rockies andÂ
did not transfer to Shephard Was there all the way  the whole time Bam Let’s go He was a senior myÂ
freshman year Stud So you guys know each other  Absolute stud No Of each other Of each otherÂ
Okay Well we got to get that That’s the first  thing that a White Sox Rockies game which throwÂ
out the records when those two teams get together Yeah that’s tough Tough deal I can’t commentÂ
on that but shout out to Brenda But there you  go There instead of congressman there isÂ
another athlete to come from I wanted to  ask you about your workouts because I readÂ
about it last year where you’re doing these  workouts I’m going to pull it up justÂ
stupid hard with your butt up Yeah My  my mentor best friend Derek GallagherÂ
Um but I work out with about all my  buddies That’s a prerequisite to beingÂ
my buddy is that we get it in together  So what is the Oh that was bad I was in the painÂ
cave right there Don’t show too much of that now Where did the workout like who designed itÂ
He did or you did Um no So it’s not really  a design uh rather rather it is uh CrossFit So umÂ
I’ve been doing CrossFit ever since I was around  eight nine years old Um and the way CrossFitÂ
is defined is constantly varied functional mo  functional movements performed at high intensityÂ
Um so that’s kind of how me and my brother and  my dad kind of had us getting down since anÂ
early age And then I kind of developed my own  kind of love and understanding for it everÂ
since you know once I became like around 17Â Â 18 and started understanding what it means to beÂ
healthy and what that all is Um of course I don’t  know what the heck I would do I don’t know whatÂ
I’m going to do when all this football stuff’s  over with That’s to be determined But um yeahÂ
one yeah we just Yeah we like to get it in And  uh so programming CrossFit workouts most of theÂ
time I’ll let him do the programming You know he’s  got a trick shoulder and is a little older thanÂ
me so I let him pick the workouts Um but then I obvious um Andrew Hiller who actually lives notÂ
far from here Yeah 20 years from now you’ll be  in your 40s This football thing will likelyÂ
be over I’m not going to end it for anybody  anymore after Tom Brady Okay I’m going to get aÂ
neuro I’m going to get a what’s that A neurochip  Yeah That shit’s going to keep me 76y old YeahÂ
Yeah But 20 years from now your script has been  written What What would you like it to say I’mÂ
just talking strictly about your I’m not going  to hold back now I’m not going to hold backÂ
I don’t want you to hold back now Um Oh yeah  I’d like to be you know a handful handful of ProÂ
Bowls in there Maybe one or one or two Super Bowls Um I mean [Â __Â ] other than that couple $300Â
million contracts a lot a whole lot of money  in between all that and um yeah but really justÂ
you know those two things would be that would be  cool I’d be I’d be happy with that I’d be happyÂ
with that Bought anything for yourself once you  got an NFL paycheck or two in the back Was thereÂ
something you went I want back for myself You  don’t strike me as a Rolex guy You strike meÂ
as baby you got a G No I actually hate cars  I’ve never had a car payment so scratch thatÂ
immediately Um jewelry I kind of I I feel the  jewelry on my body so I don’t like that Um boughtÂ
a lot of steak and put my family in a nice crib  back at home And that’s really about the extentÂ
of like the nice things I got I bought a coat  when we were in London I did that Um that yourÂ
first trip overseas No no I bet I went I went to  Malddova when I was 18 my dad had an arm wrestlingÂ
tournament and it took me and my mom So that that  was pretty cool Uh so that was my second time uhÂ
overseas Um other than that I guess I have funded  the family vacations the last two years So thatÂ
is that as well U but outside of that no I just  I just make sure that I eat I eat good I likeÂ
it I mean like this like it’s a never forget  where you come from approach to be honest withÂ
you That’s what it sounds like I love that It’s  kind of that’s how I always like to wake up andÂ
be where my feet are But you know when I think  about Tyson Beant and where he where he wantsÂ
to be which is Pro Bowl and Super Bowl but like  who he is I go back to how you started this wholeÂ
interview and you said I have the best job in the  world and no one’s going to tell me differentlyÂ
So if it ended tomorrow or you don’t want it to  end tomorrow but it seems that you have thisÂ
approach that when you wake up like you’re  going to be okay Yeah Yeah Well and because youÂ
know regret is is tough You know regret’s tough  So I feel like I do you know kind of on autopilotÂ
try to you know squeeze all the juice that I can  from each thing because it could you know yeah weÂ
say all pros and super rules I could be on the way  home tomorrow you know knock on wood But um soÂ
yeah I try to take the most out of every single  opportunity because that’s the only thing that IÂ
that’s really the only thing I won’t regret Tyson  it’s been awesome having you here in the studioÂ
and here’s hoping man Wherever your journey takes  you it’s where you want it to be My man I agreeÂ
I appreciate you guys having me Hell of a setup  here and it was a good time You heard it SuperÂ
Bear Super Bowl Tyson said it Let’s go Bear Dan 2026 man 2026 What What areÂ
we going to sit up here and say  anything otherwise No Oh yeah ThereÂ
we go We’re all on the same page  That’s Tyson B That’s Golf Cap SpecialÂ
edition of our Bears recap Take that

I love Tyson Bagent. Thats the #1 #2 baby.
Says alot for TB's mindset that he picked Caleb for the most improved question, this guy is a STUD extend him! đŻ
This is a good kid thatâs made from the right stuff. The bears donât deserve him.
If you've ever wondered why a team needs a veteran QB in the room. Re listen to Tyson talking about having Keenum on the team.
Bagent is such a dude. "How have you spent your money?" "A bunch of steak. Oh, and I bought a coat." Gotta love that.
Letâs be honest if you have to have a backup on the team, itâs hard to not love Bagent.
So tired of hearing âthe bears always win the offseasonâ – no they donât. They never won the offseason season before Poles got there. And it takes more than one good off season to go from REALLY bad to a playoff team. Why no one challenges that nonsense and just keeps repeating it I donât get. The Bears have won the offseason season since Poles has been here – and he inherited something that was really badâŠWhat was he supposed to do – fix everything in one off season?
Iâm glad the players are being paid – otherwise the university keeps everything for all the athlete does.
3 years ago everyone said it was different with Matt Eberflus, only 3 years until everyone hates Ben Johnson
Listen the first Pope from America is from Chicago, thatâs all I have to sayâŠđ»âŹïž
17 is a better qb than Caleb McNown ditch Williams now.
Why is he wearing a speedo
This guy's got a bright future in broadcasting!
I promise you he will be a starter at some point! It would not surprise me that he will be the biggest story of the year when he gets his break.
Always liked BagentâŠhe definitely deserves some gametime. But would hate to see him leave.
I donât want Caleb to get hurt, but Iâve always thought I would love to see Tyson with his team. Gunslinger with this receiving core his quick decision from here decision-making. It would be fun to watch.
Our Boy, Tyson!! He is playing for ALL Shepherd former QB's and the entire team of Rams!!! Bo
Tyson is literally one of us.
Donât usually comment on YouTube, but been fan of Tysonâs since day one⊠definitely think Caleb is going to be a stud. But Iâve told everybody for two years that we have the best backup quarterback in the league.
Tyson is going to be the Starter by Mid Season Ben Johnson isnât going to have patience with Caleb!!!
Love Bagent as our backup. I believe he is good enough to start. Raiders need him. But hope he stays.
Iâm looking forward to seeing his advancement in preseason with this offense. I think heâs somebody we can potentially trade and get some draft picks for if we can make them look good enough.
Plus, I think heâs a great quality back up.
Caleb needs to be like this guy and embrace the players he has around him
He is the best #2 quarterback in the league.
we gotta keep emđ»âŹïž
Tyson showing off the bears speedos.
Bagent is gonna have a good career in broadcasting.
I love Caleb so don't take this the wrong way but I would love this young man to get 4-5 games this year as I believe he would do great running the offense. Then he could get a shot on another team to start and we could get some draft capital.
2 QB Formation!!!
