We want to hit bombs like Bryson to Shambo. And I get it. Swinging as hard as you can and catching it once in a blue moon feels great, but a lot of amateurs try to swing hard by trying to turn to the top as much as possible and over swing like this. Try this instead. As you take the club to the top, try lifting up your lead foot. You’re not going to be swinging out of your posture, but this unlocks more hip turn and helps you achieve that full turn you always wanted. [Music]

You can over swing for more distance
It may be semantics but I don't ever dvise anyone to try to swing hard. Instead, you should try and swing fast. When I think of doing something hard I associate that with tensing my body. That's the opposite of what you want to do.
