Lake Tremblant, Quebec. This is throwback golf. This course was built in the 1920’s and it shows. Holes roll through a majestic pine forest. The Labelle course is like a good book, taking us through twists and turns that keep you interested, focused and looking forward to what comes next. While this course is not overly intricate, with a manageable number of hazards, “La Belle” is a typical mountain course with an ever-changing topography, from a gently rolling, park-like terrain to some more challenging up and down-hill fairways that require a little more concentration, followed by a 14th hole that can be unforgiving if you don’t land your tee shot on the green. ( nice play few birdie holes couple bogey holes, but watch out for the 14th a slightly errant tee shot long or left means a likely double bogey )
