Gabby’s series is all about competition at the highest level. She’s traveling nationwide, taking on elite Division 1 college golfers—one-on-one, no gimmicks, just golf. She’s proving she belongs on the same tee box from Florida to California.

This match is especially personal. Amber picked up the game at 14—later than most—but her dedication got her to Division 1 college golf. She’s got power, precision, and something to prove. Gabby came in fired up after their first close battle, and this time, she nearly made a hole-in-one.

You’re from Orange County. Yes. I live in like the Tustin Irvine area for people who are familiar with Orange County. Yeah. So, only like 20 minutes away from like the beach. Yeah. Yeah. It is um gorgeous here. Huge thank you to Pelican Hill for having us out. I am blown away. I’ve never I haven’t even stepped up to the first tea yet and I’m absolutely in awe. Um have you played this course before? I have. It’s been a while though, so we’ll see how that goes. Yeah, we’re going to play Southshore, right? Yes. And Amber has she actually is graduating in literally two weeks in a week. Next Tuesday. Yeah. A week from Cal State Fullerton, which is a huge accomplishment. She played golf there. And you’re going to make it try and make it on Q school, right? Yes. We’re going to try and do the Epson tour. That’s the goal. That would be huge. Wow. This golf course. Holy cow. It’s beautiful. Oh my gosh. You hear the waves? Just wait. Just wait till we get to one hole. You’ll be blown away. I’m so excited. Like, this is going to be so This may be like one of my favorite golf courses after cuz I just love being near the ocean. Yeah. Um this is gorgeous. Yeah, this course does have some character to it. So, I think you’ll really like it. Not just like the scenic view, but you I think you’ll really like it, honestly. And we played a Royo Trabug. Yeah, that was nice, too. But it’s funny, right? We’re like, yeah, we’re both we’re playing like the opposite spectrums, which is like we played like a course out in the valley, like super wide fairways, like undulating out in the canyons and stuff. Now that not super tight, but it’s just kind of like navigate your way. Yeah. Oh my gosh, I’m so excited. Today’s going to be a great day. You’re going to get to know Amber more. And this is just going to be I’m excited for this video cuz we had such a great time last time. Like I remember saying like this was I think my favorite division one match that we did. Today we’ve got a 1v one against Amber Davos from Cal State Fullerton, part of the division 1 series. We did play a match already. We did. I ended up taking the win, but I’m here for redemption. What about you? I’m super excited. We’re going to play the Southshore course. So, I’m excited for her to see it. So, this is our first time out here. It’s going to be beautiful with the ocean and she’s graduating in one week. But she’s going to try and go Q school, right? September. Maybe this is good practice. I don’t know. I’m joking. But this is good. First hole here, 400 yards playing for the white TE’s downhill. It’s going to be beautiful. Let’s go. I remember I I ended up playing so well when we played that almost hole in one. That hole in one was crazy. I thought you were gonna get a hole in one. It hit the pin. It did. You just got robbed that day. It was an incredible day actually. Like I don’t know what happened. It’s like 20 yards longer than this one. Oh my gosh. Well, it’s all hopefully I I actually enjoy the matches where it comes all the way down to the last Yeah. You know, wire and just Woo. See, this is the thing like here and like in New York. I’m originally from New York, but like okay, it’s um you could play any course and everything’s different. You know what I’m saying? Florida, I will say, has a gorgeous golf course, but I feel like it’s kind of repetitive out there. It’s just a little repetitive. Like now, if you go to really high-end beautiful golf courses, then they try and mimic other things and it’s beautiful, but like regular public golf courses, you can’t find the same thing. Yeah. Yeah. That’s why I was saying this course definitely has some character to it. kind of like enjoy it. Definitely. I have been eating protein bars forever. I’m obsessed with them. So if you guys don’t know, we’re playing match play here. Nine holes. Um if I didn’t say that in the beginning. Look at these views. Unbelievable. You just I don’t know if you can get tired of the views. It’s no really amazing. We’re on flat flat earth. We’re flat earthers in Florida. counted like 18 or 28. 17 Sit. Sit down. Not bad. Did you feel like that went faster than you thought? I feel like I just played it a little too much just cuz it looked uphill to me. Cuz it looks really soft. I don’t know. It may be totally the the practice green looks soft but it was super firm so I don’t know. Okay, here we go. They’re not that soft at all. I didn’t hit that very hard. Yeah, I’m going to have to learn these greens. Totally different for me, but you know, we’ll see what happens. These are crazy slopes. And I feel like I was expecting that those greens were going to break like crazy because of the slopes, but they didn’t. It’s pretty straight. Oh, this is so Is this a GoPro? So I land I was getting a shot of birds in Kiwa Island, South Carolina. And I go out to the ocean and I start going I see the sandbar where there’s thousands of birds. So I tried to get the shot and I literally didn’t realize the wind is so bad out there that it crashed into a bird. Yeah. Then so now it’s like 300 ft out there. Like it’s not even close. So I’m like that’s it. There’s no Best Buy near Kiwa Island. So, we had to ask somebody to go and get buy the drone and go and pick it up. So, we got that drone then found out 2 days later the last day of going, “Oh, somebody found your drone washed up on the on the shore.” Oh, how lovely. It’s like, are you kidding me? And then it it was working and I was the SD card was broken cuz it went in the water. But it I can’t believe it worked. So now we have two. That’s funny. I don’t know why this hole looks longer than 306. It looks so long, right? Yes. That’s what I’m thinking. Perception is Yeah. does look long, right? I feel like the T should be up there. The last time I really did just play some really incredible golf and and but today it’s very equal and I I don’t know if I’m going to have the same round that I did the last time but we’re here to have fun. Doesn’t even matter how you know that’s crazy from back there how far it looks and we have a wedge in our hand. 1,000 like same thing. Okay, I told you I’m not a good driver. Maybe I should try.
