And so like when I’d plant my forehand, my leg would kind of like collapse. It’d be real wobbly. And it’s better, but it’s not 100%. And so now when I’m throwing my forehands, a lot of them are coming out super low. And I got to figure that out. I got to like figure out how to like lean back on it. Which one’s you, bud? This is one of those old school holes that we used to have where I would just throw it not care where it went because it’s like you can end up you throw it exactly where you want and have nothing. I had no notion that what was to come with MVP at the time. Sure. I didn’t really think much about it. But then when uh when everything started to come to fruition with offseason, I uh I was like immediately I was like just send me 15 trails. Yeah. You trail until you tried the hex and then you’re like and then and I was like well actually maybe hex is my favorite. I mean that was like maybe the deal sealer. Success is not linear. It takes time and it takes belief. A belief that there is no ceiling and that the bar can always rise higher. A belief that if you set your sights to the horizon, the future will meet you there. That no matter who you are or what you’ve done, there’s always something to prove. Disc golf was built on the backs of people who dream. Well, now that I know that this is 400, like you can definitely go chip chip to hear 400 and and have it’s just shot 400 through there. to get the birdie is it’s still gonna I bet you it still holds up as a top five hole. I think maybe we played a game of 21 and then we just started like the end of the night shooting half court shots and we couldn’t make one for the longest time. We just kind of one person after the next getting the rebound, passing to the first person line shoot and I think we said like 50 bucks for the first make. Yes, sir. Well, Ricky ends up being the first person to make it and no one wanted to pay us. Everyone said double or nothing and Rick gets the ball back, makes it. At that point, I said, “All right, I’m out. I know where this is going.” I don’t think Drew Gibson or Brady Hannah got the memo. It’s a really cool place to see some neat exotic birds. But, uh, we’re going to send some money there because the Charlotte Discoff Club has always had a good relationship with them and means a lot to me just from where I come from.
