Paige Spiranac has a long history of Wyndham Clark stemming from their days playing junior golf together as they grew up in Colorado.
Clark has struggled to open the 2025 golf season. He has failed to contend on the PGA Tour, with his tied-fifth at the Houston Open in March representing his only top-five finish so far amid a string of frustrating performances.
At the Masters, Clark could only muster a five-over performance while Rory McIlroy emerged victorious. The 2023 U.S. Open champion, Clark, is chasing his second major title at the PGA Championship, which takes place at Quail Hollow this weekend.

Meanwhile, Spiranac was recently featured on the popular Netflix docuseries ‘Full Swing.’ The third season was released in February, and in Episode 5, she interviewed Clark and talked about their time playing together at the junior level, as well as their shared history.
“So I remember Wyndham when he was this tall,” Spiranac said as she gestured a short height. “Full of braces.
“Most people don’t know this, we’re both from Colorado. We grew up playing junior golf together, and now we’re here.”
Spirinac knew Clark was destined for greatness, even back in Colorado. She added: “He was always going to be one of the best.
“Now he has to deal with all the pressure of people looking at him and having to compete week in, week out and being one of the top guys.”

Back in June 2023, Clark carded an even-par final round of 70 to win the 2023 U.S. Open at the Los Angeles Country Club. He held off the threat of McIlroy, beating the Northern Irishman by a single stroke to become a major champion.
After Clark won the U.S. Open, which was his second victory of the 2023 season, Spiranac took to social media to share a personal message congratulating Clark. She also shed a little light on their relationship, too.
“Wyndham Clark and I grew up playing junior golf together in Colorado,” Spiranac wrote. “Everyone would always say he had something special and we all knew he’d make it.
“Now he’s a major winner! Very cool moment.”
While Spiranac has established herself as one of the most popular golf personalities around, she is a former pro player herself. She competed on the Cactus Tour before transitioning to modeling and content creation.
Spiranac was born and raised in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, while Clark was born in Denver, Colorado. Their paths crossed in the junior ranks, and both remain tied to the game in very different ways these days.
