This is Chris with Jones Sports Company, part of the product team. Here today to tell you why we designed the Rover stand bag. This stand bag was designed in our line because we needed a lightest stand bag that we could possibly make here at Jones. And so over time, we just kept chipping away and kept chipping away and finding different materials, finding new hardware, and developing a top and bottom mold that came to this picture. Uh, this silhouette, the Rover stand bag, is for your walking golfer. It is for someone who really probably walks 80% of the time and 20% of the time rides in a cart. is for someone who is very well organized, who knows exactly what he’s taken to the course and can put it in this bag. There is four zipper pockets and one cinch with a magnet closure pocket. You have your one side pocket here that mirrors your other side. Um, both the same depth, same width. So, the most ideal place for your golf balls would be your left side. Um, if you’re a right-handed golfer, you’re most likely going to set the bag on the right side of your ball in the fairway and you set it down. You can easily grab your balls, TE’s, anything you want in there. The opposite side is a great place for a sweatshirt or anything else that you have. You have your front diagonal zipper, and this is just a nice uh secure location. And you have your magnet cinch top. Um, this is anything you can drop in here is manageable and easy to access when you’re carrying the bag or when it’s next to you on your shot. This new pocket up here that we designed for a cell phone, valuables, it’s bluer lined. You can put your watch in there. Also is really nice for your rangefinder. Um, this is located at the top of your bag, so when it’s in the fairway, you don’t have to bend down as much to get anything in there. So, it is a nice quick access to that. We incorporated a Velcro patch right in the front. You could use that for any type of patches you want to put it on, but it was really designed by us to air out your gloves. It should be stored outside of your bag. If you put it inside your pocket when you’re done, you leave in the garage and this is zipped up, you’re going to come back with a pretty hard crusted glove the next round. So, this is just a nice reminder to uh to put your glove out here and keep that fresh. The Rover has our newly updated double straps. Um, what I like most about these is the adjustability. So, no matter how tall, short, uh, any type of size, stature, they’re really easy to adjust. The new lumbar support right here on the Rover stand bag, you know, this is uh, specifically designed to hit an area on your back. So, when you’re carrying it downhill, uphill, or flat lies, you’re still going to have a nice comfortable carry, and you’re not going to feel the shafts of your clubs digging in your back. We included a D-ring up top. That is something that you can put your your speaker clip on or your your guest tags or your membership ID, anything up there. That’s just a nice place that can live and it’s out of the way of everything. Probably wondering what this loop is up here if you own the bag or if you’ve seen it online. So, this is the top of the umbrella holder. So, you just pull it out. You put the umbrella through here and it comes through the bottom. And that just secures the whole umbrella right here. Um, when you’re done with it, simply just put it back, snap it in, and onward you go. This bag easily fits 14 clubs. The three-way club divider does include uh two panels that go full length down to the bottom. So, the ease of taking out normal size grips to midsize grips really come out with little effort at all. So, the Rover offers our first uh flex bottom that we’ve made. This is one of the key areas when we started designing the Rover where we really wanted to focus on. Um, you could see that this has a flex point right here. And when you put the clubs down, these uh TPR points are going to be like your anti-skid. Uh, these are going to save you. This is going to hold your bag upright and it’s going to catch nicely. Thanks for joining along kind of going through the Rover stand bag. If you have any more questions, feel free to leave comments below. We’d love to stay in touch and talk through it. And uh we’ll see you out there.

  1. Great looking bags. The only thing holding me back is the 3-way divider. I'm one of the few that want a 14-way on my stand bag.
