It’s time for the sixth Signature Event on the PGA TOUR schedule, and the TOUR ’s best heads to The Philadelphia Cricket Club’s Wissahickon Course. This week also marks the return of Rory McIlroy, who is set to play his first individual event since his Masters triumph. Although it’s a different course, McIlroy is still the defending champion of the tournament. The Philadelphia Cricket Club is an architectural gem from A.W. Tillinghast and will be a one-year fill-in for Quail Hollow Club, which will host the PGA Championship next week. Joining McIlroy is Justin Thomas, who will tee it up once again after his win at the RBC Heritage, as will other top players such as Ludvig Åberg, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa and Hideki Matsuyama.

Let’s get it up on top. Don’t try and over spin it. Yeah, beautiful shot. Great angle from 118. Back hole location. There’s only about three paces beyond it. Can you dial it in? Yes, he can. Good shot. Huge bounce but landed in the perfect spot. Down the hill looking for it to peel left. That was racing. That was a fine catch by the hole. 30s on two of the opening four for Sunj. Oh, and this is cool. Well, he’s hit a hit out to the left with some cut spin. This could work. Oh, wow. What a shot. Look at that. He might make it. Matsyama nearly drains that one. Nick Taylor wedge in hand. Up to the sixth and 117 to the flag for Sam Burns. Well, from this distance right here, Swanie, he can make it sing. Watch this. There you go. This is 52° wedge and he’s taking a pretty aggressive line. And we if by aggressive you mean right over the flag stick and spinning it back then then yes hang a little left. There you go. It needs to climb. Oh, it got the release. It did. That is awesome. That’s the best we’ve seen. You teach that hands, can you? He’s just born with that. Precision needed here. What do you say, Shane? This could turn out okay. Wow. This could be fantastic. Yeah. What a piece of judgment there. No kidding. Boy, he’s got some hands, doesn’t he? He can hit some shots. Yeah, really well played. looking for a little jump start on his round. That’s more like it after not birding one of the first two holes down win. He needed to get something going. And this thing started just to the right trying to fight back towards the pin. Yeah, beautifully done. I mean, the only thing I could think of for Ludvig is if it didn’t sound like a mishit. Needs to join the party right now. There you go. Mroy is the only multiple winner on the tour this season. Straa with a title would become the second. Another iron shot right at the pin. Hideki is fuego. Get to the birdie part of Rory Mroy here at five. Just two par fives on the golf course. Got to take advant There you go. Take advantage of it. And we’re back at the six with Tory nearly 55 ft. And Frank, these old school greens slope really hard from back to front. You get above the hole, they are nasty. Oh, that wasn’t nasty for the players at the top of the leaderboard. That’s three in a row. So good. So good. You know what? I’m playing so well. I’m going to try something else now. Back at six. Trying to bounce back is Thomas. Unlike Striker from the rough, he can play some offense downwind with Sand Wedge. Oh, it’s going to get better and better to seven. And Justin for birdie. This is going to be slippery down the hill. Hope it’s still slippery all the way to the hole. Good call, Mark. That’s too straight off the misstep on the par five, Jim. Yeah, but it kind of starts with a little better angle for Keith Mitchell. He has to get down and spin. Oh, that’s a wonderful shot. You see body lines, everything aiming left just allowing that ball to cut back to the flag. Striker trying to keep pace here. know what he does. Well, we’re finding the bucket out there, aren’t we? All of a sudden, we went from creasing edges to finding the putts dead center. Not sure which Rory we get now. We saw two different ones on the front side. Well, he went with driver Frank had 62 yds less than Colin Morawa. And that’s more like it. That’s the one we expect. Three birdies, a double, and a bogey on the front sight. with gap wedge. And that’s a beautiful pass and he’s pining. He’s right there. Okay, he found a little something here in the last two holes. Wrong direction for the dog leg left as we go to nine. And Striker’s approach. That swing is like clockwork. Been brilliant distance control wise. Here’s another. Yeah, it’s beautiful swing. takes it up on a good line and then just drops it back on the inside. So this means this is for the outright lead all of a sudden. How quickly that’s happened for Seb Straer up ahead on the green. It was never going anywhere else. Meanwhile, back at nine, Lowry pretty few in the game are as free flowing. There’s Shane Lowry. Now Keith Mitchell 26 yds closer. Just a lob wedge. All right, these players attacking the ninth hole. You know when those players with the flare for the dramatics hit a shot like he’s just here, they usually pay it off. This will be a great birdie from that position. There you go for the lead. to get him into the red for the day. We’re out from short for Thomas. It seems like we’re going in spurts. We see the guys hit the edges, crease the edges. Just had another incredible shot. This from our friends at CBS. His second at the parkour 13. and bringing that ball back and holding it. Scaring the hold. That’s right. 15. Well, Straco certainly ripped his T- shot. Sevenwood coming in. He’s ripped that too on a beautiful line. Jim hanging against the sky and just on top of the bunker and home safe. Gosh, that was pretty, wasn’t it? Oh my goodness. Majestic. Launched it way up there. All right, over to 17 for the outright lead for Straa. Should he go gone? Huge birdie at 17 for Se Straa to take the lead on his own. Oh, looking good. Looking good. How about a three at the last Justin Thomas 66 with two bogeies on the par fives on the card today. Now Shane, beautiful drive over that 290 yd bunker carry ball with just a nine iron. This is going to be good here. Oh wow. Come on now. Keep trying to link and he’s made it. Birdie for Larry. Ties the lead at 14 under. Thanks for watching the PJ tour on YouTube. For more videos, click here. To subscribe, click

  1. Another beautiful golf course ruined by cutting down all the trees which framed the holes. All in the name of “ restoration to the original design”. Meanwhile the original designer would have loved to have 100 year old trees framing his work.

  2. I know it’s hard to go through so many shots and piece together a well edited video but this is chaotic and upsetting lol.

  3. Got us a big fella final grouping for Sunday!! Gona be some darts thrown. Let’s gooo 🏌️‍♂️

  4. Thanks for this , i have no clue whats going on or who’s where now , saw some nice shots though i suppose …

  5. PGA finally listening to the fans about their highlight edits. Getting a lot better. Still a bit missing, but you can tell they are at least trying now.

  6. Shane has the best short game hands in golf. Never seen coverage shared by ESPN and CBS for the same tournament.

  7. The editors are unimaginatively addicted to pitch'n'putt target stuff. This is not a true representation of GOLF highlights and the complexity and challenge of the game.
