Got to pick it up with Ben Kohl’s on the eights. One under on his round. 477 yd par4. Nice T- shot down that right side. Leaves him a good angle here. Look at this. Using all the cup and it drops. Cole’s hooping it for Eagle. Jumping it from one to three under par. Very same old. More fireworks from Sheamus Power. Already a couple under. Well, we’ve already seen one Georgie on the eighth hole. Just a carbon copy of Kulsa shot. Same result. Another Eagle hole out. Power at four under. God’s got to get something going with the irons. Has only hit four out of 11 greens. Putting a lot of pressure on the short game early. This one looks to be left of the hole and just catches the left side of the green and that will feed closer. Putting slightly back up the hill here. Yeah, nicely done. Just catches the left side of the hole. Got her up to minus one. Oh, this is a good looking shot if it’s the right number. And it is. This is going to feed closer to the hole and be exceptional and leave a kick in for Sheamus. Played that live perfectly. Georgie, we got a nice look at it there. That ball sitting down right about where you would want to enter the bunker. So, he’s really got to catch this clean. A really good sound. What a shot. He went with the option of flying it all the way over that slope and Mackenzie Hughes is going to be inside a six feet for birdie. But he is in form. I tell you what, he played well at Hill. Played coming off a two straight top 10. This one breaks to his right or excuse me, he had a miscut in there. Certainly playing some solid golf. Nice four there. Comfortable putt here for the left-hander. Should break a little from his left to right. And nicely done there. Chandler, a rookie on the PGA Tour. Best finish as that’s backto-back birdie. Playing 179 yard stay. Hole located in the back right portion. It’s a very challenging hole location here. The green is very shallow on this back right side. Only about 20 yards deep. But the softness of these greens right here. See if he can get there at two. Ideal T- shot down that right side. He’s one of the longer hitters on the PGA Tour and flies it on the green. What a shot by Toasty. Oh my. That’s going to leave inside of a foot for the Eagle for Toasty. And we’ll move to within one of Andrew Putnham. Here’s the stance for Fox. Yeah, not too difficult here. He makes that look pretty easy. Yeah, Fox is second on the way out of the rough there. Totally different look there. See, they’re just unable to control it quite as much as coming from the fairway. Will feed a little closer to the hole on the 16th green. Ryan Fox, 38-year-old New Zealander, his second year on the PGA Tour. Buries it. Nicely done there. Perfect speed quickly to minus five for Ryan Fox. Doug Gim rocking the bucket hat today. His third shot to the par five 13th. He left it in a good spot here just short of the green. Yeah, nicely done. Should fit his eye. And another good one there. That’s going to continue to get a little bit better. Love the way he covers the ball with his right side. Nicely done by Perez up ahead on the 17th. Victor Perez. This is to move it within one of the lead. Money. Perez. Five birdies on the round. He’s one off the lead. Really catch this clean. He’s going to have to, I think, play one of those check spinners cuz it slopes away. And I think he’s done a wonderful job of that. Really good contact there. Got it to bite a little bit on the down slope. And good result there for Sheamus Power. Power to push it to six under. Just taps it. See how quick that is. Curls in nicely. Nicely down there. Drop a couple to the 16th. Got her up to three under now. Kind of wedging hand. Coming from the far right side of the fairway. Not a great angle to this front right hole location. Almost flies it in the hole. You see got inside of six feet. He’s on a roll right now. Standing tall in this title defense to four under. Yeah, he’s going to have a little bit of green to work with. This looks like it was over where Sheamus Power was a little further up into the green. There’s another one though, releasing too much. Steve, around that cup, we’ve seen everyone kind of run away towards the back of the green. Even from the front, a lot of those players at the 2025 OneFlight Myrtle Beach Classic, including Chile, who’s got Crisal Del Solar putting for birdie a 13. Yeah. After this pit shot ran away, can he save himself with a great putt? Yes, he can. Go back a few to 16. The other co-leader, Sheamus Power. Oh, God nearly slam dunked it here for his second from this position. Okay, compared to God, we’ll give that an A minus. See, this part doesn’t move as far as the players are thinking. Oh, dead straight. Now, the problem is this is a hard enough shot. Now, you’re a little bit on the UPS slope, so you really got to make sure you get that ball clean from 86 yds. He does have a back stop and he’s going to need to use it here. See if it comes off. Oh my. This should be good. Getting better and better. Excellent contact and an excellent result. McKenzie Hughes really nifty spin down the hill trying to take advantage. And this one left to right. And he did take advantage. M. Yeah. No. Out of the fairway bunker to spin it back to that position. Saw the bunker stop to here. And now the delicate one. Oh yeah, beautifully done. Is one of the favorites coming into this week. Experienced McKenzie Hughes and Alejandro Toasty fist pumps the birdie. Drama and excitement as we’ll have here in Myrtle Beach as well. Torbjorn Olison at 11. He played here last year. How about this? He fired a tidy little 61 at 11. Olsen to avoid dropping one. Good solid stroke right there for Nice one there from McKenzie Hughes. gets it just past pin high. And now McKenzie’s putt’s got to break just a little bit right to left, but a beautiful shot. Awesome there. Came in as one of the favorites and he’s living up to it. That moves McKenzie to minus.
