This week on Celtic Warrior Workouts, Sheamus digs into a nitty and gritty sparring workout with the young and talented tag team, The Creed Brothers! Taking place at the UFC Performance Center Apex in Las Vegas, The Creed Brothers show off their background from collegiate wrestling and how it how shaped their professional careers so far.
>> Speaker 1: Here.
>> Speaker 1: Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Speaker 1: No more. >> Right on here. [NOISE] >> Speaker 1: What’s the craic,
how you doing? I’m Seamus, AKA the Celtic Warrior. And welcome to Celtic Warrior Workouts. We’re here today in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the world renowned
UFC Performance Institute, Apex. That’s right. Today’s workout was two. Let’s call them two
shooters in the modern era. Two of the biggest, baddest Tag Team
wrestlers you have ever seen, and two brothers. Please welcome the Creed brothers,
Julius and Maximus. What’s going on? >> Seaamus. >> Speaker 1: What’s the story, lads? You all right? >> Speaker 2: I’m good, man. >> Speaker 2: I’m excited for
the Creed Warrior Workouts. You said we’re rebranding it, right? >> Speaker 1: No, no, no, no. It’s Celtic Warrior Workout. >> But for us,
what’s Creed Warrior Workout? >> Okay.
>> Speaker 1: Well, I mean, if you want to name it. >> You’re the Celtic Warrior. >> Speaker 2: I’m the Creed Warrior. >> Speaker 1: Let’s talk about two of you,
right? So you guys are incredibly talented,
incredibly athletic. Also, like, legitimate
backgrounds as well in wrestling. To all Americans, both of you, right? But I’ll be honest, man. With WWE’s renowned storytelling
of characters over the years, over the decades, where you had,
like, that was big boss man, really, a sheriff in Cobb County, Georgia. Was Kofi Kingston really from Jamaica? No. Is Drew McIntyre really Scottish? No. I didn’t believe the two
of you guys are brothers. You know what I mean? I was just shocked. That’s how it’s like. These two are, like legitimate wrestlers,
all Americans. Let’s just pretend they’re brothers and
put them together. But you actually are brooders. >> Speaker 1: Yeah.
>> Speaker 2: Yeah, unfortunately. I always tell him, I remind him
he’s younger, so I always tell him, I know what this world’s like without you. You don’t know what this
world’s like without me. But a lot of people on
the roster don’t know that. Otis, actually, even though he comes
from a shooter background, too, he didn’t know that until recently. And then actually last
Monday in Sacramento, Liv Morgan thought that we
weren’t actual brothers either. I had to break out the baby photos,
us sharing bunk beds and everything. >> Speaker 2: Liv Morgan, those are the
smartest guys on the Roster Girls, too. >> Speaker 1: That’s very true. >> Speaker 2: How did they believe it? >> Speaker 1: I honestly, I just thought. I think people don’t legitimately believe. Don’t believe that you guys
are legitimate, brothers. >> Tell the truth.
>> Speaker 2: It’s because I’m better looking. It’s because I’m taller. >> More intelligent. >> Speaker 2: More intelligent. >> [LAUGH]
>> More humble. I’m better at being humble. >> Speaker 2: Yeah.
>> Speaker 2: Like, we saw those things. >> Speaker 2: We shared
a bedroom until what? >> Speaker 2: We didn’t share a bed. We shared a bedroom. We just, yeah. >> Cut that out. We didn’t share a bed. >> Speaker 1: I don’t
think you fit in this bed. I’m assuming, like even a king size
bed wouldn’t fit the two of you. >> Speaker 1: It looked like [CROSSTALK]. >> You guys are bunk beds. I’d be worried, especially if he’s on top
of your. Well, either way. >> He was on top actually.
>> You’re on top of the bunk bed, right? >> Speaker 2: Especially when I was younger, I’d wet the bed.
My problem on top. That’s kind of scary. >> Speaker 2: Well, he says younger, but that was like until two years ago.
He was still wet in the bed, so. Julius Creed, actually. But close, yeah.
>> [LAUGH] [MUSIC] >> We’re at the UFC Apex. I actually was fortunate enough to film the Ultimate Fighter over the last eight
or nine weeks in this exact building, in this exact gym, every single day.
So I’m gonna put you through a little
bit of a shooter wrestling workout. >> Speaker 1: Wow.
>> Speaker 1: Was he talking to me or talking to Photovolt? >> Speaker 2: I don’t know.
It kind of seemed like [INAUDIBLE]. >> I used to bring him to university
all the time and he would throw up and stuff going through my wall. >> Speaker 2: I call it university
because he calls it university. >> Speaker 2: Hey, university. I an Irish lad. >> Speaker 2: Boyo. >> Speaker 2: Me and Seamus Boyo. >> Speaker 1: Yeah.
>> [LAUGH] >> He’s already Irish. Two seconds in. All right, well, here we go, man. I have no idea what’s going to happen. Hopefully. I don’t know whether I want to puke or
not. I’m not sure. I haven’t a guny drink last night,
so that’s a good sign. That’s a good start, right? So either way,
let’s go do a bit Creed Warrior Workout. >> Speaker 2: Ready? >> Speaker 1: I have basically no
idea what the crack is with this or what we’re going to do today, but
that’s the beauty of Caltegoria workouts, is just doing something
I’ve never done before. Cena once said,
be comfortable in the uncomfortable. That’s me every day. >> Speaker 2: We actually started sleeping
on wrestling mats at 6 weeks old. My mom,
we had three of us within five years. So she’d ship us out with our
dad while we went to run junior high wrestling practices. So we started sleeping on wrestling
mats as early as six weeks old. So while you don’t feel
at home here Seamus. I feel very at home here. >> Speaker 2: We’re born into it Seamus. >> Speaker 1: This is crazy. You guys are nuts. >> Speaker 2: Yeah.
>> Speaker 2: Yeah, a little. >> Speaker 2: So I’m thinking maybe
we’re brothers now and he’s the odd one. >> Speaker 1: Let’s get him.
Let’s get him. >> Let’s get him boyo. >> [LAUGH] My God. >> Speaker 1: You want
to take the lead then? >> Speaker 2: No, no, no. Bruno should take the lead. He’s the warm up guy. Yeah. >> Speaker 2: All right,
Stuart, let’s do shuffle. >> Speaker 2: He starts strong,
I finish strong. There’s a big difference. >> Speaker 1: We just shuffle. Shuffle for 45 minutes. >> Speaker 2: Don’t let the feet cross,
you know what I’m saying? >> There you go.
Yeah. [INAUDIBLE]
>> And the balls of your feet. [CROSSTALK]
>> Speaker 1: Nothing I’ve ever done in my life is lice. >> Speaker 2: There you go.
>> Speaker 2: There we go. >> Speaker 2: I like that. >> Speaker 2: I like that, yeah. >> Speaker 2: Just feel it, you know? Feel it.
Get a little loose with it, you know what I’m saying? >> Speaker 2: Yeah, a little swag. >> Speaker 2: Just get that,
get that going. >> Speaker 2: So
unsurprising to anybody here also. >> Speaker 2: We’re still going. >> Speaker 2: All right.
>> Whatever you want, son. In the sport of wrestling,
despite our very different personalities, very different body types and
very different everything, we also competed quite a bit differently. He scored no points. He was boring. He didn’t do much of anything. He was a defensive wrestler. I was an offensive wrestler. I lit up the scoreboard and
I was exciting as can be Seamus. >> Speaker 1: But I heard that he was the
only one in the family who was undefeated in his wrestling career. >> Speaker 2: Just by just by [INAUDIBLE]. >> That’s what I heard. I don’t know, I’m just. >> Speaker 2: You don’t
like a good comeback story. >> Speaker 2: He pulled
me on the ride over here. >> Speaker 2: You got to earn it Seamus. >> Speaker 2: I earned it. >> Speaker 2: He didn’t have to earn it. He was naturally gifted. >> Speaker 1: So he’s just defensive. That’s it. >> We had that obviously. >> Speaker 2: Was boring, dude. He bored them to death. You want to bore someone
to death to go undefeated? Personally, me no. >> You just got a shuffle all day. >> Speaker 2: No, let’s start pummeling. Let’s start pummeling. Under, over. >> The hooks. That’s what they call? >> Yeah.
>> Are you just gonna keep moving. >> Bounce with it, son. You know what I’m saying? Bounce with it. Get that flow going. Flow in there. >> Speaker 1: Yeah. >> Speaker 1: Chest to chest. Bang after bang. Yeah, get that pump. >> Speaker 1: Make you do
this every morning or what? >> He always have to do. >> Speaker 2: Yeah. >> Speaker 2: See what you got. >> Speaker 2: See, we got. >> Under over Shamo. Yeah.
>> Speaker 1: So hang on here. >> Speaker 2: I like to
think of it as wiping. >> Fight in. Yeah, there we go. >> Speaker 2: There you go. >> Speaker 1: There it is. >> Speaker 2: There we go. >> Speaker 1: Yeah.
>> Yeah, pummel after pummeling. Pummel after pummel,
pummel after pummel after pummel. >> Speaker 2: I don’t
know what we’re doing. >> Speaker 1: It’s not how I end up on a. Sorry.
>> Speaker 2: We’re fighting under hooks. And wrestling. >> Speaker 2: You want to get under hooks. >> Speaker 1: So here. >> Speaker 2: Yep, you have two overs. There’s an under.
There’s an under. >> Speaker 2: Okay.
>> There you go. >> Speaker 2: And
you’re fighting under hooks. >> Speaker 1: All right. >> Speaker 2: Yeah.
>> Speaker 1: Trying to smash my head up. >> Speaker 2: You’re.
You’re good. >> Speaker 2: You can.
You can float. >> Speaker 1: No hang either way. >> Speaker 2: Yeah, you’re good. >> Speaker 1: Yeah.
>> Speaker 1: Yeah. >> Speaker 2: You want underhooks. Underhooks, the dominant position. >> Speaker 1: Yep. >> Speaker 1: So here. >> Speaker 2: Yeah, that’s great. And then.
>> I fight and under. >> Speaker 2: You fighting under. >> Speaker 2: Yeah.
>> I fight an under. >> Speaker 2: See,
he didn’t do a great job. >> Speaker 2: That’s the issue. >> Speaker 2: There we go.
>> Speaker 2: That’s it. >> Speaker 2: Shamo I’m fighting there. >> Speaker 2: Wish him, like. >> Collegiately like,
I coached collegiately. >> Speaker 2: University. >> Speaker 2: There we go Shamo. That’s it. [CROSSTALK]. >> Speaker 2: Both of
your feet are stationed. >> Speaker 2: Hey, we’re going prepo, man. >> Speaker 2: You still move your feet. >> Speaker 1: I’m like one of those Hasbro
action figures, just the waist twists. >> Speaker 2: So he didn’t explain it. Good job.
But underhook’s a dominant position because a lot of guys are going to try to
get weight down through their hips and sit the weight down,
because then it’s difficult. Call it to throw them,
they’re gonna sandbag you, you know? So instead you want to be uptight, you
want to be pulling that underhook high, and then the other thing I like to do
is whatever side’s got my underhook, I like the center step,
because now you feel real off balance. >> Speaker 1: Okay.
>> Speaker 1: I kind of push you around, I can go back with you,
I come forward, and I can go side. >> Speaker 2: Okay.
>> Speaker 1: That’s where I get the opportunity to move you, so if I come in,
I need to so you got maybe here, is it? >> Speaker 1: Yeah, that’s overhook,
start with an over, yeah. >> Speaker 2: So how do I go under that? >> Speaker 1: Now you need
to go over the top and wipe your chest down to get inside here. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, now you want
to punch under, hook, side, right? There you go, and then I’m going to punch
on this side, if you can get the double unders, this is great,
now you’re in a very dominant position. >> Speaker 1: Okay, however,
that’ll never happen against me. [LAUGH] Against him. >> Speaker 2: You.
>> Speaker 1: You might be able to. >> Speaker 2: Against me. >> Speaker 1: Nah,
it ain’t even happening, so here. >> Speaker 1: Yep. >> Speaker 1: You see how I. Center step now. >> Speaker 1: Now you’re going
to have a harder time pummeling. >> Speaker 1: There you go.
>> Speaker 1: Yeah, get the center step there,
shame now, there we go. >> Speaker 2: Okay.
>> Speaker 1: Okay, yes, there it is in there, put the hip to it. >> Speaker 1: Look what I did, too. >> Speaker 1: Go down, dude,
he’s in socks, I’m in shoes, I’ve got grip, he’s in. >> Speaker 2: Hey,
where’d his shoes come from? >> Speaker 1: Yeah, he’s got the shoes on,
he’s got the grip, I came prepared. >> Speaker 1: He came cheating. >> Speaker 1: I’m fresh,
I’m gonna be fresh today. >> Speaker 2: It’s like evolution,
it’s an evolution of footwear. [LAUGH]
>> Speaker 1: No, socks. >> Speaker 2: Socks, shoes. >> Speaker 1: I’m grounded,
you know, you see that? >> Speaker 2: That’s a good
way to warm up, yeah. >> Speaker 1: So the first one was a speed
pummel, that’s where you’re just going real, real fast; the next one
was more of a power pummel, where you actually battle for position. >> Speaker 2: This is what you normally
do to start off before you train for wrestling, right? >> Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. >> Speaker 2: Just a way to warm up and. >> Speaker 1: Some drills to get the blood
flowing and get some bodies moving, I was a thrower, I scored points, and he showed
you how to not do a whole lot of anything because that’s what he did, however, I was
exciting, so I liked going upper body. It was one of my favorite places to be,
these under-over positions, I personally was a right-hand under-hook
side and a left-hand over-hook side, I was a body lock guy. I like to throw guys; usually I called it
Asics overhead” because a lot of the time guys were wearing Asics,
I would be underhook on my right side and overhook on my left side. I want my overhook to go down
at his elbow; if it’s higher, he can wave and move that arm around
a whole lot, your right arm, son, yep, and then if it’s too low, he can pull it out. >> Speaker 2: All right. >> Speaker 1: So instead I like to
go straight across the elbow there. >> Speaker 2: Okay. >> Speaker 1: My backside
hand is going to be up, I’m going to wave with my right under,
hook, side, hand, I like to use my thumb here to come
under and up into these floating ribs. It’s all the way on the side here;
it’s not in the middle of the back, it’s not in the front,
it’s on the floating ribs, under. >> Speaker 1: How many years
did you perfect that, man? >> Speaker 1: I’m still perfecting, I’m
still in the kitchen cooking right now, It’s something that sometimes
is better felt than explained. >> Speaker 2: So here. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, but
you feel where your lock’s at, feel where my locks at, you feel how
I’m in your ribs there, like there, so you’re going to want to shift it here,
over there? >> Speaker 1: Yeah, okay. >> Speaker 1: You’re going to want your
elbow tight to your side on this side, and that other arm goes to bear hug. >> Speaker 1: Get the bear hug Shame,
there we go. >> Speaker 1: Yes, good. >> Speaker 2: Doesn’t feel natural for
me to like. >> Speaker 1: That because wrestling’s all
about positioning; I can lift it with it. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. >> Speaker 1: So
a lot of what you’re doing, it’s actually through your hips’ power,
which is horsepower, see that? It’s right there,
I don’t know if I want to see that. >> Speaker 2: It just did. >> Speaker 1: Okay, yeah,
I guess we can add it. But, yeah, hip power is horsepower,
and that’s what I’m trying to do, I’m trying to load my hips. Now, these arms are just are, they’re like
the ratchet straps that you strap things down to your vehicle, so these,
these arms got to be tight, and what that’s going to do is going to
allow me to step in with my hips and load my hips, and now he’s mine,
I can do whatever I want. >> Speaker 2: So
when you come in here like this, right? And here. >> Speaker 1: Yeah. >> Speaker 2: Like that.
>> Speaker 1: Yeah. >> Speaker 1: What people
don’t understand, and this actually applies to our business too,
is like, if you want to throw someone in a belly-to-belly, or
you want to throw somebody overhead. What a lot of people do is
they’ll grab someone here, and then they go to engage their hips, but all
they do is just cover this space to throw instead.overhead If there is no space,
when you go to throw and you pop your hips, that’s what gives
all the energy to send them over. So you want no space, I always say you
want to think of it as your belt buckles or magnets, and
you want your belt buckles touching. >> Speaker 2: Okay.
>> Speaker 1: And that’s what gives you the opportunity when
you just give that little bit of hip hop, barbell, and hip thrusters,
like I said, no BBL, baby, I’m in the gym freaking, you know,
it’s the same thing, but we’re up top now. >> Speaker 2: Let’s be honest, the bath
I hear between you guys is phenomenal, honestly, I get to see
you guys all day long, people want to know I had
the Cree brooders train. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, hey,
we got a playful side. >> Speaker 1: We also got a serious side,
we believe we can go longer, we can go harder, and we can go more
intensely than anyone, but it’s not just something that you go out there and
you shine when the lights are brightest, it’s something that you fall back on your
training, and it starts in this room, it starts with how hard we
go every single day, and we’re going to show you some of that,
what that looks like. >> Speaker 2: All right,
let’s go do it, man, let’s go do it. >> Speaker 1: So just getting in
a little stretch and warm up here. >> Speaker 1: Like you said, hips are the
most important, hip power is horsepower, so trying to loosen that up, trying to
get stretch through the hamstrings, through the quads, through all of that. >> Speaker 2: Just a hamstring
stretch now, right? Hamstring and hip stretch. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, and it’s all dynamic
and, you know, wrestling at no point, what, what you do is static, so
you want it to be constantly moving, constant motion,
he’ll start lower, he’ll swing, he’ll open up the gate of the hip,
yeah, I can go all day now. >> Speaker 2: You switch? >> Speaker 1: Yep, you working in? >> Speaker 2: Yeah, I work in, so here. >> Speaker 1: Just get a natural resting
position to get to that stretch, which is a shot, you know,
just slowly moving into that. >> Speaker 2: It’s great. >> Speaker 1: You gotta have the ability
to go forward, back, side to side. >> Speaker 2: Okay.
>> Speaker 1: But we’ll do, sometimes I’ll take them, I’ll bend
them towards it, get more of a stretch, I’ll push them away to
get less of a stretch. >> Speaker 1: What’s your
natural wrestling position? >> Speaker 1: You’ll find
yourself in this and that. >> Speaker 2: There you go again. >> Speaker 1: Grab the leg, boom up. >> Speaker 2: Okay. >> Speaker 1: There you go, Shame O, see? There you go, athlete. There you go. >> Speaker 2: Come in. >> Speaker 1: Yep,
I pull them in sometimes. >> Speaker 2: Yeah. >> Speaker 1: Push him away. >> Speaker 2: Look,
it’s like me being at home with the wife. >> Speaker 1: There you go [LAUGH],
he’ll do it to you, son. >> Speaker 2: Do it to me. >> Speaker 1: Shame. We go. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. >> Speaker 1: You can make a move, you can
make them earn it, like you said, yeah, they gotta earn it, we earn it
every single time we’re out there, we put our blood, sweat, and
tears off, there you go. >> Speaker 2: Yeah, you’re getting
lucky tonight, no, not tonight, not in the middle. >> Speaker 1: This leg as well,
look at that shot. >> Speaker 2: That wasn’t good. >> Speaker 1: We’ll work on it,
you’ve gotta get your hips to the legs, all about hips, baby. There we go. >> Speaker 2: Okay.
>> Speaker 1: Getting it loose, getting, all right. >> Speaker 2: Okay, get two rounds. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, at least two rounds, yeah, my college coach
used to do this thing. He would, whenever we’d start warming up
with this, he’d always get the leg up, he’d shelf it into the armpit like that. He’d take the free arm and start, like,
punching you in the hamstring and stuff. Like 7 in the morning, I’d be cutting
weight, and I’m getting punched in the hamstring, I’m like, Dang,
dude, come on, he’s activating. >> Speaker 1: Yep. >> There we go. >> Speaker 2: Swinging back and
forth, school. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, motion, you ever see,
like, when Islam took down Dustin Poirier, that’s all he had to do, because
most people aren’t going to be able to stay flexible and
dynamic in that position, stay balanced. So that’s what, literally, Islam scored
a takedown in the UFC title fight using that motion right there,
boom, so get him up here, see that? >> Speaker 2: Yeah.
>> Speaker 1: You like that? >> Speaker 2: It’s gray, I love it. >> Speaker 1: They do this? >> Speaker 2: Yeah, [LAUGH] this is more
action I’ve got in the last two years. >> Speaker 1: That’s, and this is the, stay away from me, this is the,
stay, all right, baby. >> Speaker 2: Come here.
>> Speaker 1: No, just kidding. >> Speaker 2: Stay away,
stay part of my life. >> Speaker 1: Like you got a shooter
knee sleep on already and everything, shame was the real deal here, yeah, he is, we’re gonna get him a headgear by
the end of this, that’d be great, man. >> Speaker 2: I’ll go for that. Okay.
>> Speaker 1: All right, I’m good, we don’t need. But let’s.
>> Speaker 1: No, no. >> Speaker 1: That’s what
Sheamus needs to get. >> Speaker 1: All right.
>> Speaker 1: Sheamus need to work on his shot, son. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, no, we can. >> Speaker 1: There we go. >> Speaker 1: So
you swing it back and forth. >> Speaker 1: Yep.
>> Yep. >> Speaker 1: Okay. >> Speaker 1: Yeah.
>> Speaker 1: Here right. >> Speaker 1: There it is. >> Speaker 1: Yeah. >> Speaker 1: Good, Sheamus. >> Speaker 1: It’s like a heel hook,
ankle lock. You don’t wannna get that
on that Achilles tendon. >> Speaker 1: Okay. >> Speaker 1: Nice and tight. >> Speaker 1: There we go. >> Speaker 1: That wasn’t good. >> Speaker 1: You’re all right. >> Speaker 1: We’ll teach a head up and
everything. Penetration steps. >> Speaker 1: All right. >> Speaker 1: Just swing it in and
out, right? >> Speaker 1: Yeah.
>> Speaker 1: Yep. [MUSIC] >> Speaker 1: Tag and then I come in and I face. >> Speaker 1: All right. >> Speaker 1: All right. >> Speaker 1: The next one,
he’ll shoot in, and I want to get my hips more stretched. And he’s going to start to get
a little bit of a lat stretch here. It’s kind of like that prayer stretch
that you do sometimes on a bench. So he’ll go to take that same shot in. I’ll stretch down away, and I’m gonna really focus on putting
my belt buckle over the top of him. Putting a lot of weight in. This will give him the opportunity
to get a good stretch here. I’ll slide down to the elbow. I’ll open up one side. [MUSIC] I’ll really open up one side. Then I come back on the other side,
go other elbow up. The whole time, though,
my glutes are engaged. If you hit, it’s rock solid. I’m engaged the whole time. No BBL’s, baby. Just hard work. >> Speaker 1: You left those BBL’s. >> Speaker 1: No BBL’s,
other side real quick, son. Boom, boom. Here, hips in. My coach used to always do this to me,
too. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, I think he just like
to beat me, now that I think about it. >> Speaker 1: Why did you crack your nut? [LAUGH]
>> Okay. >> Speaker 1: All right, Sheamus. >> Speaker 1: So
>> Speaker 1: So you’re gonna want to hit me with your belt buckle and
get a lot of weight down and through here. >> Speaker 1: Yep. >> Speaker 1: How about my leg position? >> Speaker 1: See how your
hips are disengaged right now? >> Speaker 1: Yeah.
>> Speaker 1: All your weight should be going through your belt buckle. >> Speaker 1: Hips in them. There we go, Sheamus, put them hips in. >> Speaker 1: There you go. >> Speaker 1: Put them
hips in them Sheamus. >> Speaker 1: Yep. >> Speaker 1: Stretch it here. >> Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. >> Speaker 1: Good. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, it’s good. >> Speaker 1: Keep your knees off the mat. Keep all the weight through your hip. Yeah, for you, too. >> Speaker 1: You don’t
want him taking you down. >> Speaker 1: There you go Sheamus. >> Speaker 1: Still will, but, yeah. >> This side. >> Speaker 1: Okay. >> Speaker 1: Same thing. >> Speaker 1: Hips down the whole time,
Sheamus. >> Speaker 1: There you go. Yeah.
[MUSIC] >> Speaker 1: That’s good. And people say wrestling is homoerotic. Who said that? >> Speaker 1: All right. >> Speaker 1: Yeah shooting on me,
Sheamus. I’ll do the same thing. >> Speaker 1: It’s because we’re secure,
that’s the thing. >> Speaker 1: You don’t want
to be down like that, Shame. You want up here? >> Speaker 1: Okay. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, you want up? There you go, Sheamus. >> Speaker 1: But on my knees I know. >> Speaker 1: Yeah.
>> Just like you can sit back into your haunches if you want, there you go. >> Speaker 1: He’s getting
that good stretch, Sheamus. >> Speaker 1: I might this up, right? >> Speaker 1: Yeah, a little.
>> [LAUGH] >> Speaker 1: Maybe this side now, Sheamus. >> Speaker 1: What was the first side? I don’t even know the first side. >> Speaker 1: Okay, okay, okay. Get your head here, yeah. >> This is Paul, Sheamus, actually. There you go. >> Speaker 1: It’s weird. >> Speaker 1: Swap the leg. >> Speaker 1: There you go. [MUSIC] >> Speaker 1: That’s when you take a shot
and I’m sprawling out to defend it. That’s what you’re gonna feel. >> Speaker 1: You gotta
feel before it’s time go. >> Speaker 1: What’s
your favorite cheat meal? >> Speaker 1: Dang. Give me a second to think about
that because I love food. >> Which is I hate food. And I’m not just saying
that to counteract him. If I could just take a pill every morning
that got the nutritional needs that I had, I wouldn’t even eat. >> Really.
>> Speaker 1: I don’t enjoy eating. So, right now, I work out at such a high
volume and so many times a day, and it’s such an intensity. Basically anything I can consume
that feel good to me, I consume. It’s primarily like potatoes. Just those base staple things. But, yeah, steak, eggs, potatoes. I have Crohn’s disease, so it’s
a gastrointestinal autoimmune disorder. >> Speaker 1: Okay.
>> Speaker 1: So, if I eat certain things, it flares up my whole body. My joints start attacking themselves. I feel terrible. So, like, I basically kind of stick to it. I’m as boring as I look. I’m in white and black today. I’m real simple and I’m eating. They don’t kind of the same state
>> Speaker 1: Yeah, but just your personality makes up for you. It’s all about balancing out. >> Speaker 1: The answer
then would be ice cream. I love ice cream. >> Speaker 1: You do?
>> Speaker 1: Can you take ice cream or no? >> Speaker 1: Yeah,
I’m fine with ice cream. >> Speaker 1: You are? >> Speaker 1: He’s got a sweet tooth. >> Speaker 1: Favorite flavor? >> Speaker 1: Man [INAUDIBLE]. >> Speaker 1: Okay. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, cookie dough and
cookies and cream together. >> Speaker 1: Holy.
>> Speaker 1: Let me give you my McDonald’s meal, though. >> Speaker 1: Okay, what’s yours? >> Speaker 1: A double quarter pounder. But take out the sauce, put Big Mac
sauce on it, you know what I’m saying? Large fry, coke or sweet tea,
depending on how you feel about that. >> Speaker 1: I gotta cut to the Spongebob
like 15 minutes later thank you. >> [LAUGH]
>> Add a Big Mac or McDouble on the side. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, that is. >> Speaker 1: That’s it. That’s the McDonald’s meal. >> Speaker 1: He has a running note
in his phone right now and he asked >> My death row meal >> To a lot of people on the main roster, he goes,
what would your death row meal be? Last meal written out
exactly what he want. Yeah, he’s got appetizers. He’s got like a seven course meal. If he’s going to get death row, I don’t
know what he’s planning on doing, but he’s got the meal
>> Speaker 1: Cooking it one day I’m cooking it one day I’m making
my whole death row meal. I got it all planned out. You ever have [CROSSTALK]
>> Could be more different in everything aspect. The only thing you guys have
in common is wrestling. It’s insane. I mean, also in the fact you guys are your
genetic, you share the same DNA, but probably not absolutely nothing. >> Speaker 1: All right,
we’re gonna go entries here. So what you’re gonna see is a little
bit of hand fighting on the up front, just a little bit of motion so we can
find that opportunity to find the shots. >> Speaker 1: Okay.
>> Speaker 1: You’ll probably have a lot more success early on with a snatch
high level shot where it’s kind of just movement and taking it. Now what’s important here
is like he was saying, you’re gonna want to lead with your chest,
head up, chest up. And you’re gonna want to
bring your belt buckle in. What you see a lot of people do is
they’ll reach for the leg like this. This is going to be really,
really hard to score. He’s gonna get sprawled back with his hip, get heavy, and you’re not going to be
able to score or lift that leg up. >> Speaker 1: Okay.
>> Speaker 1: Instead I’m going to take that hard angle. Head up, chest up. Now I’ve got my knees pinched. He doesn’t really have
an opportunity to do anything. I’m head up, chest up. You can see his body lines bent back. I’ve got the opportunity to move and we’re
just gonna go with entries right there. And then we’ll go to
the finishing part next. >> Speaker 1: Okay, so I’ll come in. So as I come in, it’s here. >> Speaker 1: Yeah,
bleed with your belt buckle, yeah. >> Yeah, make sure your head’s up,
Sheamus. I don’t wannna put pressure. The more weight I put on you,
the harder it is. >> Speaker 1: So how’s this? >> Speaker 1: So I like to put this
hand on top over the other hand. So I like, go like, nope. So I go here and here, same way you
were but I put the bottom hand on top. So if he fights hands and
pulls this hand right now? >> Speaker 1: Yeah.
>> Speaker 1: Yep. >> Speaker 1: Like this?
>> Speaker 1: Yeah, that’s a good grip. >> Speaker 1: The problem is
what happens is people do this. >> Speaker 1: Yeah. >> Speaker 1: So I gotta switch it. So I’ll go bottom side,
hand up the side on top. So if he pulls,
he just pulls my lock up into it. >> Speaker 1: Okay yeah. >> Speaker 1: If you’re here and he pulls. >> Speaker 1: I see man, sorry. >> Speaker 1: Okay, that way. Okay, so come in here. >> Speaker 1: Yep. >> Speaker 1: And
>> Yep. >> Speaker 1: Nice here, right? >> Speaker 1: Yep.
>> Speaker 1: Yeah. >> Speaker 1: You pull it? >> Speaker 1: Yeah.
>> Just pull the lock into it. >> Speaker 1: And as me as a shamo. >> Speaker 1: That’s not shamo. Man’s defender,
I’m gonna try to get you uncomfortable. All right,
I’m gonna be pressing your head down. I’m gonna be getting that, you see? >> Speaker 1: Yeah. >> Speaker 1: To get to your legs or offense, but
>> Speaker 1: So that’s why I try to keep
that head up the whole time. >> Speaker 1: Exactly. >> Speaker 1: Try to
listen to his heartbeat. [MUSIC] >> Speaker 1: I have no neck here. >> [LAUGH]
>> I just keep the no neck here. >> Speaker 1: No wonder you’re
a great defensive wrestler. Grabbing the leg,
I just got come in and grab it. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, so the hand fighting
and I guess we skipped the hand fighting part is positioning to get to
the opening So in here, right? >> Speaker 2: Yeah.
>> Speaker 1: You’re gonna wanna see an opportunity to snatch that leg. >> Speaker 2: Yeah.
>> Speaker 1: And by doing that, you’re just gonna simply move me around,
get me moving, fight inside. >> Whatever it is. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. >> Speaker 1: Conceptually, there’s two
things that allow you to get to a leg. One, an angle, and
then two, a level change. Both things in combination to get there. So what he was just basically
coaching was, here we’re square on. If there’s railroad tracks,
we’re in line with each other. Instead, I’ve got to get to an angle. Once I have an angle,
I’ve got to take my level change, and that’s when I get the opportunity. There’s a million different
ways to skin a cat, million different ways to get to an angle. But if you get your angle and
you level change, you’ll get to the leg. [MUSIC] There you go, there. You feel all this space, though? There you go. >> Speaker 2: I use my hat to guide you,
right? >> Speaker 1: Yes, of course, yep. >> Speaker 2: And then here. >> Speaker 1: Yes. >> Speaker 2: And here. >> Speaker 1: That’s where
you’ll get the opportunity. >> Speaker 1: Exactly. [MUSIC] >> What I’m doing, Sheamo, some people
thought I wasn’t a good drill partner, cuz even when he’s taking
these shots right now, I’m getting ready to defend cuz I
didn’t wanna drill any bad habits. >> Speaker 2: All right, so. >> Speaker 1: I didn’t even like people
taking me down while we were drilling. >> [LAUGH]
>> But that’s me. [MUSIC] There you go, there you go, okay. >> Speaker 2: Okay. >> Speaker 1: The way I like to think
of it, once you get up to standing. >> Speaker 2: Yeah. >> Speaker 1: I wanna get your
body line going backwards. >> Speaker 2: Okay. >> Speaker 1: So
there’s less weight on me. >> Speaker 1: Right.
>> Speaker 1: So here, where you’re at right now, you feel
how you can get weight on top of me? >> Speaker 2: Yeah. >> Speaker 1: Instead,
what I wanna do is I wanna cut the angle. I wanna throw my head and
listen to your heartbeat. You feel how all the weight’s on this leg? Yeah, yeah. >> Speaker 1: That’s
where it’s a better spot. I don’t have to carry your weight,
it’s not heavy then. >> Speaker 2: Okay.
[MUSIC] [LAUGH]
>> Speaker 1: It’s fun now? >> Speaker 2: It is, man. >> Speaker 1: Yeah,
you start to learn the basics, you can start messing around with it. There you go, Sheamo,
a little bit defense, I like that. There, Sheamus. >> [LAUGH]
>> Speaker 2: It’s under, that’s a big thing. >> Speaker 1: Hips are huge. >> Speaker 1: There we go. >> Speaker 1: So
you’re good with the snatches. See, I can re-attack here, Sheamo. >> [LAUGH] You picked me up way too easy. >> [LAUGH]
>> Speaker 1: It’s all cuz of the hips, though. It’s all in the hips. The hips are under you, you’re strong. Anybody can quarter
squat a thousand pounds. So it’s like,
if your hips are under you, you’re good. In through your nose, out through
your mouth, Sheamo, belly breathe. >> Speaker 1: High five,
I know it’s broken twice. >> [LAUGH]
>> Speaker 1: [INAUDIBLE] Sheamo, now switch positioning here cuz
I’m gonna be able to hang on you. >> Speaker 1: You don’t want that. >> Speaker 1: There it is,
yeah, that’s it. >> Speaker 2: So from here? >> Speaker 2: Yep. >> Speaker 2: No. >> Speaker 1: No,
you were facing me perfectly there. Now, how would you finish? Say I’m fighting here. >> Speaker 2: Yeah.
>> Speaker 2: How would you-
>> I kick you out, right? >> Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah. >> Speaker 2: Take you down. >> Option.
>> Speaker 1: That’s exactly it. >> Speaker 2: Take you down here? >> Speaker 1: Yeah,
you wanna kick and trip? There’s only one leg left on the table,
you take it out. >> Yeah. >> Speaker 1: Yep. >> Speaker 2: Yeah, here? >> Speaker 1: Yep, or-
>> Speaker 2: Don’t take a bump though. >> Speaker 1: That’s fine. >> Speaker 2: Here? >> Speaker 2: Yeah. >> And then here. >> Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yes. >> [LAUGH] Sheamo. [LAUGH] [INAUDIBLE] >> I’ve been attacked just by tickling. [INAUDIBLE] Sheamus [INAUDIBLE] bro. [MUSIC] >> Speaker 2: What’s the most
embarrassing song in your playlist? I’m gonna ask you first because I know
this is gonna be something special. >> Speaker 1: Okay. >> Speaker 1: So my playlist consisted
of things that I warmed up to. And I have a degree, basically,
in sports psychology. So I really like to find my middle
ground where I could operate. >> Speaker 2: He’s not afraid
to tell people what he does. >> Speaker 1: You’re already
a little bit fired up and then you’re listening to
music that gets you too high. If you’re low, you need to get the music
to get you fired up and everything. So a lot of the time I was
too wired before I’d compete. So I’d listen to Katy Perry and stuff before I go out there cuz
it would bring the mood down. So I like that fight
song by that Rachel girl. But the most embarrassing one was
probably Faith Hill, Mississippi Girls. [MUSIC] And I’d be warming up,
ready to kill some dude. And then I listen to that,
I’d be like, all right, yeah. >> Speaker 1: That gets you in the mood. Move style, and then I could go
out there and I could be loose and flowy like we were talking about. >> Mississippi Girl. >> Speaker 2: Yeah, that one. >> Speaker 1: Yeah. >> Speaker 1: All right, [INAUDIBLE].
>> Speaker 1: I don’t have a song, but I will say my top Spotify artist
last year was Sabrina Carpenter. I love Sabrina Carpenter. Anything she sings, she’s my favorite. Full five foot. >> Speaker 2: Is it the blonde one? >> Speaker 1: Yes, the blonde one. What do you think, Hershey? >> Speaker 2: I don’t
know any of her songs. >> Speaker 1: What’s your
most embarrassing song? >> Speaker 2: I did that with Punk,
I thought Scatman. And then people said they
loved Scatman by Scatman. [MUSIC] Well, I don’t sing it right, but. [MUSIC] >> Celtic Warrior karaoke? >> Speaker 2: That’s the next one. >> Yeah, that’s the next one. >> Speaker 2: But instead of a car, like
your mind, they will do it in a tractor. >> Speaker 1: Okay. >> Speaker 2: The only problem is
getting the tractor from city to city, tractor karaoke. >> Speaker 1: Okay.
>> Speaker 2: You know what I mean? >> Speaker 1: I like it, yeah. >> Speaker 2: It’s good, right? Stick him in the trailer in the back,
bit of hay. >> Speaker 1: Maybe he
can pull the tractor. >> Speaker 2: Yeah, that’d be great. >> Speaker 1: It’ll take him
long enough [CROSSTALK]. >> Speaker 1: Yeah, that’s true. But you were a brawling brew. >> Speaker 2: I was. >> Speaker 1: I don’t know. I see what’s happening now,
you guys are trying to [INAUDIBLE]. >> Speaker 1: We’re the brothers
at the end of this. We flipped the script, let’s go. >> Y’all switcheroo, you know what I mean? >> Speaker 1: Something that we would do
at the college level at Duke University is we would circle up at the end of an hour,
a two hour, sometimes a three hour workout. And we had to be able to find
a little bit more in the tank, an ability to dig a little bit
deeper when things got hard. And what Coach Lamb would put
us through would go like this. You’re gonna go ten high knees,
as high as you can take your knees. Ten butt kicks,
as hard as you can kick your butt. Ten lunges total, that’s five each side,
and then ten burpees. Now, burpee in wrestling goes all the way
down, all the way up with the clap. And if you just do this simple thing,
it takes just a minute or two. Sometimes he’d mess with you. It was like, hey, get on the line. Last one if everyone runs hard, he’d
have us circle up, do this, we’re done. And then he would make us wrestle even
more afterwards to really just blow up the legs and hips. Cuz like I said, hip powers, horsepower. That’s where you have to
be able to dig deep and really push when you’re already fatigued. So this uses that dynamic. [SOUND]
>> I tuned in after he said burpees. >> Speaker 1: That’s all right. >> He hates the burpees. >> Speaker 1: High knees,
we’re starting with high knees. >> Speaker 2: How many? Any size, ten on each side is there? >> Speaker 1: Ten total high knees. So we’re gonna go one, two. >> Speaker 2: Okay, all right. >> Speaker 1: And
usually someone leads, right? And you go on their count. >> All right. >> Speaker 1: Well-
>> So I’ll lead. >> Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, we’re gonna
go high knees, butt kicks, lunges, five each side, burpees, ten total. >> Speaker 2: Okay, all right. >> Speaker 1: Ready?
High knees. >> Speaker 2: You guys got this? >> Speaker 1: One, two, three, four,
five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. Butt kicks, one, two, three, four,
five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. Lunges, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. Burpees with the clap, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. >> Speaker 1: I got one more. >> On you now. >> Speaker 1: One round done. >> One round in, all right. >> I lost count. >> Speaker 1: One, two, three, four. >> Speaker 1: My legs are dead. >> Speaker 1: Six,
seven, eight, nine, ten. One, two, three-
>> Speaker 1: No, Sheamus. >> Speaker 1: Five, six,
seven, eight, nine, ten. >> Speaker 2: One, two, three-
>> All right. >> Speaker 1: Four, five,
six, seven, eight, nine, ten. >> Speaker 1: There we go. >> Speaker 2: I tap out with you, Shaymo. >> Speaker 2: Two.
[MUSIC] >> Speaker 1: There you go. Keep going, keep going. [MUSIC] >> Speaker 2: I’m back, I’m back. >> Speaker 1: Here we go. >> Speaker 2: Deep.
Gotta have a little more. [MUSIC] >> Speaker 2: There you go, Sheamo. >> Speaker 1: I’m done now. >> Speaker 1: There you go. Kevin Gates said it best,
I don’t get tired, I’m king of the ground. >> Speaker 1: I got tired. >> Speaker 1: Six jobs, baby. >> Speaker 1: My legs were dead. >> Speaker 1: You’re good, Shamo. Breathe, baby. >> Man.
>> Breathe, all right, that’s the warm up, you ready to get into it? >> Speaker 2: Guys,
I know we had a short time today. You blew me skylight at the end. I need it because now I really
know I have to work on my cardio. I really appreciate you guys
giving me your time for this. There’s a lot of kids out
there who watch you guys and see what you do and how good you do it. Maybe a lot of kids who are amateur
wrestlers brothers like you guys, who love to be and
wanna follow in your footsteps. The floor is yours, lads. >> Speaker 1: Our parents told us when we
were young, there was a lot of times we would fist fight, we’d wrestle in
the house and we didn’t get along. They said, one day you’re gonna be best
friends and stuff because what you experience early in life,
nobody else is gonna be able to relate to. They didn’t grow up under the same roof. They didn’t go through the same things. They didn’t face the same trials and
tribulations even in this business. Sometimes they would talk to us while
we were at the PC and they said, the only people that understand what
you’re going through is in these doors. So if you go home and you complain to your
family about it, they’re not gonna get it, they’re not gonna relate. I was fortunate enough to have my
family with me on the journey. I think there’s something
powerful to be said about that. You don’t get to pick family. Sometimes you guys don’t look alike. Sometimes you don’t like the same things. Sometimes you’re not that much alike. But family at the end of
the day is all we got. So family’s what we’ll stick with, boom. >> Speaker 1: Couldn’t said it at all, so. >> Speaker 2: I just have sisters,
no brother. But I had a friend, I had one or
two guys who I would call brother as well. Not blood brothers, but. And they go through
the same thing as well. So you have that person, male,
female, girl, boy, whatever it is, that the person who, as I said,
that punches you, always stick up for me. You know what I mean?
Always have each other’s back. That’s an incredible gift to have in life. Guys, thanks again for being on. You blew me up, I can barely talk. There’s leaking cobwebs
coming out of my chest. But thank you, man, I appreciate it. >> Speaker 2: Thank you.
>> Thank you, Julius. >> Speaker 1: Appreciate all you do for
us. >> Speaker 2: Thank you, man. Remember, everyone works at home,
take inspiration from this. And always remember, it’s a brave change. >> Speaker 1: Creed Warrior challenge. Creed Warriors Workouts. Creed warrior everything. >> [LAUGH]

Wait?!? Kofi Kingston is not Jamaican?!? My mind is blown.
Man, Julius have a personality thas crazy. I wish he brings more of that to his character, because when he is not wrestling he is a little flat.
Creed bros are monsters bro. Very talented
Hope these guys stay around long enough to get a real push, really talented and nice guys. People get lost in the tag division currently, but they are some of the best to watch.
Seeing Julius Creed perform hip thrusts multiple times was not on my bingo card for today
Great workout. These guys are so entertaining
The Harts have the Sharpshooter, Sheamus has the Sharptickler.

Hey Sheamus! I saw that your video had no music. As a fan, I don’t mind turning off my music copyrights for YT, so you can have some songs in background. Just let me know! 😄
Julius is definitely the heel of the two
Sheamo needs to do a video with DJ Mighty Mouse

WE WANT A WORKOUT WITH IVY NILE
One thing i really appreciate about sheamus he makes these performers more human to us to see these guys out of character is amazing tbh the creed brothers have earned a fan in me and i will be alot more invested in the matches they have now
Need these white boys as tag Champs immediately
Maybe these 2 are actually Kurt Angle’s kids, not Jason Jordan?
Right off the bat, the Creed showed more unhinged perfect charisma, than they'ev ever been allowed to do in WWE and I love it!
This is what I love about cww I had no idea just how entertaining these guys are. Hoping they get a chance to show this side of them on TV at some point
Still no Ivy? 😞
