Tiger Woods and his girlfriend Vanessa Trump have reportedly been dating since the fall of 2024. The duo officially went public with their romance in March after reports they were indeed dating surfaced online.

“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy for all those close to our hearts,” Woods captioned a photo of him and Trump on March 23.

Now, according to the Daily Mail, Woods has issued a response to his friends who have warned him about going public with Trump, given her affiliation with the current president (she was previously married to Donald Trump Jr.). Woods’ friends supposedly warned him that going public could hurt his image.

“F— what people think,” Woods reportedly replied.

“Tiger has always been publicly apolitical,” a source told the outlet. “He has his beliefs and opinions, of course, but he doesn’t make a public spectacle of his political leanings. And dating someone in a political family looks like he’s choosing a side.”

“You can’t really tell Tiger to do something he doesn’t want to do,” the source continued. “And he felt like this was an important enough relationship to go public with. If someone has a problem, that’s on them, not him.”

Woods and Trump have been staying out of the public eye since going public with their romance.
