I have this grip trainer and love it on the 8 iron that I have it on. I played with it today and my swing and ball contact was the best/most consistent that it has ever been. The grip just feels too good.
Eventually, maybe 2-3 years from now, I want to compete in a local tournament. Could I game a full set of irons with these grips? Or would that be against the rules at most small golf tournaments?
Thanks for the input. Good luck out there.

No, you cannot use them in a tournament if they’re using USGA rules.
If you even leave a club in your bag with this kind of grip on it then you could be disqualified from whatever tourney you are in.
Lol
This is not a grip.. its a grip trainer aid… and that would not be allowe din a tournament. This is suppose to TEACH you how to grip the club properly- not be the permanent aid that is used 100% of the time.
What grip trainer is that? Lamkin? I want to get one but I’ve read they are for small hands or for kids. I’ve been advised to get one for muscle memory but can’t find one for larger hands
I have one on an 8 iron I got at play it again sports. It’s great on the driving range but you really want to work yourself so you warm up with it as a reminder then use your regular grips on the course.
Scotty warms up with a grip like that also.
