Eliminate your sway off the ball in your golf swing with this easy drill!

The goal is to keep the ball from falling to the ground by keeping a little pressure on the ball with your lead hip

With your chest, make sure you don’t lean too far toward or away from the target. Keep your “nose on the ball” as you rotate. This will give you the sensation of being coiled up and ready to sequence yourself dynamically in the downswing. This coil is called X-Factor stretch (the stretch between the pelvis and the chest turn)

A common fault when doing this drill is to just freeze the lower body and move the arms – avoid that! Make sure your hips are still turning as you make the backswing ✅

If you watch the video again, even though my hips are not sliding, they are rotating! As my hips turn to the right, the ball rotates along the wall.
