Want more compression on the ball and to stop getting stuck in the downswing? In this video, I show you why the Justin Rose rehearsal move is one of the most effective drills to clean up your impact and get the hands in front of the body like the pros do 💪
By mimicking Justin Rose’s pre-shot rehearsal, you’ll:
✅ Create more shaft lean at impact
✅ Get better compression through the ball
✅ Avoid the arms getting stuck behind the body
✅ Learn proper hand path and sequencing
This simple rehearsal is a game-changer for golfers who struggle with inconsistent ball striking, flipping at impact, or a stuck position. Let’s train your body to move like the elite players do.

Ho guardato questo video 10 volte, e ogni volta ho riso come se fosse la prima volta. Proprio come le mie battute😛
Figured this out a week or 2 ago, went from a nasty slice to Narnia, to a nice draw.
Shutting off the shoulders was a game changer!
Good stuff as usual ! Arms & hands first keeping the back at the target – picked up this nugget in one of your previous videos . If you throw the club over the top this tip is solid gold ! For me it gets my swing on plane . I Don’t have to think or worry about shallowing – It just happens !
Isn't it the shoulders that move, arms follow, or am I wrong? If you move your hands and do not move your body, you would flip or have chicken wings. I would love to understand this better
I used to use the feel of my back staying turned away from the target as long as possible while bringing the arms and hands down from the top of swing. I've been trying to do the arm part again lately, but the leaving the back/chest turned away as long as possible has been a missing key. It would probably do me a lot of good to get back to doing both together again…
Just to clarify one point, if you have a narrower stance with driver, do you accomodate this with the ball forward of lead foot rather than aligned with the instep?
