This is what you call 'africanization'. South Africa may have been a racist country under apartheid, but it was safe, even in the black townships to some degree. Now, public security – specifically for blacks! has literally gone completely. Adding to this, the power outages. Today, Johannesburg is even worse than Kinshasa or Lagos. Sad thing to say. A small class of blacks, organized in the ANC, is looting the country and has become filthy rich. Now that's Africa for you. I don't believe Mandela held out on Robben Island for this.
