The stage is set for an epic finale Sunday at the 2025 Masters.

Rory McIlroy vs. Bryson DeChambeau with a green jacket on the line. What more could you want?

While the stakes are high for both players, each one has certain goals they would accomplish with a win. McIlroy would become the sixth player all-time to win the career Grand Slam, winning all four majors, and only the second to accomplish it with a win at the Masters. DeChambeau, however, could join a more exclusive club, though not as notable as what his counterpart is gunning for.

With a win, DeChambeau would join Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods as the only players to win a Masters, U.S. Open and U.S. Amateur. DeChambeau won the 2015 U.S. Amateur at Olympia Fields, the same year he won the NCAA individual title. He won his first U.S. Open title in 2020 at Winged Foot and added a second last year, out-dueling McIlroy down the stretch at Pinehurst No. 2.

On Sunday, the duo tees off at 2:30 p.m. ET in one of the most anticipated final pairings in a major championship in years. McIlroy has a two-shot advantage with 18 holes to play, perhaps only Augusta National and DeChambeau standing between him and history.

But DeChambeau has craved a green jacket for a long time, too. He wants his piece of the pie, or should we say choice of next year’s Champions Dinner menu.

“It will be the grandest stage we’ve had in a long time. I’m excited for it,” DeChambeau said.
