Q.
What are your Options for a Ball in a Penalty Area, Yellow or Red?

A.
You’ve hit your ball into a penalty area, you could play it as it lies or for a one stroke penalty:
A. Go back to your last place played;
B. Drop back on a line from the flag, keeping the point where it last crossed into the penalty area on that line, and then dropping a ball within one club length of a reference point on that line, no closer to the hole.
ONLY FOR A RED PENALTY AREA
C. Drop within two club-lengths, no closer to the hole, from the point where it last crossed into the penalty area.
