If I was Yuki I would stay well away.
It would be funny as hell if Lawson with the VCARB ends up outqualifying Yuki in the RB – on his home race. If I was Yuki I wouldn't accept this "promotion" honestly
RB get more $$$ by winning the Constructors crown, but they get nothing for the Driver championship. RB's one man car makes no damn sense.
I think this is a good move ultimately from red bull. This will release liam from the high pressure that he has already faced after only 2 races. If he stayed it would've just got worse and him and red bull would get even more scrutinized.
Admittedly yuki should've got the seat. But it is what it is. And I hope it works out for the both of them.
The issue is Max. RB have designed and built a car around his unique driving style, no one else can drive it and when there are issues he just drives right though them, such is his undoubtable talent. This is going to bite RB in the ass when he leaves in 2027, my guess would be to join up with Newey again at AM. Cant wait to see Horner crumble when this does happen! 🤣🤣
Yuki will do no better. Most of drivers on grid would struggle with that car
Set him up to fail, give him a car that is not set to his driving style and then red bull get greedy and take the money from Honda. Red Bull are pieces of ****.
Unless your verstappen the car is undriveable. It's obviously heavily tailored to max's aggressive driving style really light on the rear really sensitive at the front. Maybe rb should take feedback and maybe tailor the car to both drivers rather than just heavily in max's favour, i get that he's the best driver on the grid currently but if you want to win the constructors title you need a car that both drivers can drive surely.
Says a lot about Red Bull and how good Max is to make the car fast.
So what happens if Yuki also struggles at Red Bull and Liam shines at Racing Bulls?
Why not make the Racing Bulls equally difficult to drive, then if a driver does well then you know they'll probably be able to drive the Red Bull, or maybe make the Red Bulls easier to drive because some of these young drivers might be future World Champions, just not in a car designed for Max.

Red Bull are absolutely disgraceful how they conduct themselves as an organisation, from rehiring Perez, then to paying him off (great business strategy) , to hurting Liam, who they literally set up too fail, through lack of testing, potential destroying a promising young talent.
It’s actually the top tier management that need to be relieved of their duties.

This is not about regroup you put max on the car and is the same, great for Lawson, bad fr Tsunoda
I really feel for Lawson. Although his promotion into the Red Bull car was a bit premature, it just goes to show how bad that Red Bull car is and how skewed it is to Verstappen's liking, even to the point where Verstappen is having a hard time driving it. If Tsunoda has a howler and Lawson finishes ahead of him, I think we can all agree that the RB21 is a dog of a thing to drive, the VCRB is actually a pretty good car, and that Lawson and Tsunoda are arguably equal drivers. Who knows, maybe Danny Ric will make a glorious comeback to that cursed 2nd Red Bull seat?
