Florida Club Garners Recognition for Its State-of-the-Art Practice Facility

The Golf Range Association of America (GRAA) selected Hunters Run Country Club in Boynton Beach, Fla., as one of the Top 50 Private Facilities. This marks the second consecutive year that Hunters Run has earned a place on this prestigious list.

The 2024 GRAA Top 50 Private Facilities award recognizes exceptional private clubs that offer outstanding driving ranges, short game areas, practice putting greens, and short courses, enhancing the overall golf experience for private members.

This recognition follows the recent renovation of Hunters Run’s driving range, completed last year. The upgraded range features 17 covered hitting stations and three state-of-the-art multi-purpose studios. Each station is equipped with advanced Toptracer touchscreen monitors that precisely track shot trajectory, speed, curve, launch angle, and distance. This cutting-edge technology from Topgolf Callaway Brands revolutionizes golf practice and play by providing instant performance feedback, allowing golfers to refine their swing or enjoy interactive game modes, whether practicing alone or with friends.

Director of Golf Ben Bauer highlighted that the GRAA, now in its 13th year of recognizing excellence in public, private, and stand-alone facilities, continues to showcase the best in the industry. He stated, “In addition to the technological advancements, our newly renovated range features synthetic bunkers, strategic short-game targets, advanced robotic systems for ball retrieval and maintenance, and an automatic ball washing system—the first of its kind in the United States. By reducing the need for traditional staffing models, we can enhance the member experience with more personalized services on the range.”

Larry Savvides, Hunters Run’s Chief Operating Officer and General Manager, expressed his congratulations to the Board of Directors and the members for earning this distinguished GRAA recognition for the second consecutive year. He remarked, “Our three unique 18-hole championship golf courses have always been a defining feature of Hunters Run, and the integration of Toptracer technology elevates our golf offerings to new heights. Savvides also emphasized that the club’s recent $9.58 million renovation of their East Golf Course (one of three 18-hole golf courses on the property) complements Hunters Run’s exceptional golf experience.
