Formosa Golf Resort | Full 18H Course Vlog | One Of The Best Courses in Auckland?
Formosa Golf Resort exceeded my expectations today, I had only played it one other time when the greens were cored and even then I still enjoyed my round. Today however, about a year later the course has gone through big improvements, the fairways were nicely cut, tee boxes were flat and greens rolled pure! On top of all that the views were next level.
The course off the back tees is a true championship course at 6663m (7278Yards).
At only $45NZD to play as an affiliate on Monday and Tuesday & $70 other days this has to be the best value for money course in Auckland.

Enjoying your videos, especially the Auckland courses as I've played most of them. Keep it up ! Formosa, looks like they've done a bit of work on it, last time I was there there was no sand in the bunkers.
Looks a challenge but agree at those green fees a good deal to test your drives and short game.
It’s always been one of the best resort layouts in the country. It’s a much better design than Gulf Harbour for example. It just was neglected for so long. They have spent millions over the past 5 years (literally a million dollars just on arborists to clean up the Palm trees at one stage) and it’s really starting to get there in quality. Right now is the best I’ve ever seen the course. It will always struggle in winter though, unless they redo the drainage and fairway sanding which is unlikely.
