nice!
Great business decision by Titleist 🔥🏌️♂️
You must be new to golf because you can bend a 46* wedge to 44* no problem all you would do to the club is take 2 degrees if bounce off which with a pw is not that big of a deal since your using it mostly as a full swing club! Plus I can guarantee that 44* vokey wedge is gonna go at least 10 yards shorter than your t150 pw… it doesn’t have any tungsten in it and there’s less mass behind the sweet spot so it’ll spin more and have less ball speed
Isn't there a factor of forgiveness to consider? If players are using stronger lofted irons, including a stronger lofted pitching wedge, wouldn’t most golfers prefer the forgiveness that comes with a set wedge in their pitching wedge, rather than the maximum versatility and spin that a more skilled player might seek?
Given that you higher lofted Pw is basically a standard 9i, why would you need to replace it with a wedge? Just start your wedges at a 48 and it would play like a standard lofted set that had the Pw switched for a wedge.
Nevermind Titleist clubs, how about Vokey just making a full set of irons from 4-LW? 🤣🤣
More wedges more money more problems
As someone with strong lofted irons (t300s) I think the answer is to put grinds on 52 degrees. The problem with a 43-44 PW is that you basically need two gap wedges.
feels like a commercial.
44? That is a 9 iron in my set, lol.
My Titleist Tour Model 9 iron is 45*
An interesting stat is that both pros and ams make 100% of the shots they make. A more interesting fact is they both miss 100% of the shots they miss. The more you know 👍
Have one on order
Only idiots would throw away a club from their set, in order to go spend, $225, for the replacement club. It's just another way to get more cash from people who love to play this game. In my opinion, you don't need all these extra clubs added to your set. One wedge is all you need. Unless you get paid to play golf. Save your money for green fees and lessons. These kind of videos make me sick.
Soon they will have a 10 degree “wedge”
That’s the same loft as my 9i.
Will the brands sell sets of clubs excluding the pitching wedge though? I’d be confident that they won’t 😆
I went -1° on my 44 and yes I replaced PW. Greatest move to date in my scoring iron line up
I can easily ignore because it’s so damn expensive!
That’s a 9 iron!
Who plays game improvement irons yet feels that they are too good to play the pw that came with the set
This seem like a solution for a problem that did not exist. 44* is a 9 iron. If you wanted workability and limited turf interaction then look at going to a thinner speed more muscle backed short irons. Like the MB or CB model. It almost seems like a vanity club when someone asks you what you hit from 130, and you get to say PW !!
Isn’t the t150 pw essentially the same thing as a vokey sm10? I have the same set up and my vokeys start at 50… I don’t see the point in getting a 44 when it’s probably the same metal, same loft, and both an f grind. Heck it’s even the same exact shape
Dang, 44° is my 9i, 48° pw.
Am I the only one realizing you're just going backwards? Its a blade iron pitching wedge from 15 years ago. This loft nonsense with irons is getting incredibly stupid
I don’t want to be a hater, it’s everyone’s personal choice. But ..60*, 56*, 52*, 48*, 44* that’s a niche player lol. But hey don’t knock it till you try it I guess
