Golfer Adam Hadwin suffers worst club smash backfire ever in hilarious moment at Valspar
Adam Hadwin’s angry club smash sets off sprinklers at Valspar Championship
Adam Hadwin smashed sprinkler head so hard at the Valspar Championship it started spraying everywhere.
All Hadwin could do was stand there on top of the sprinkler head, defeated which made for a pretty incredible scene.
Adam Hadwin’s club smash backfire was the worst in history. In his second round at the Valspar Championship on Friday, the 37-year-old had just double-bogeyed the tenth hole.
At three over par, he was virtually guaranteed to miss the cut. And it seemed the Canadian’s frustration reached a breaking point. He walloped his club into the rough as Hadwin stormed off the green in rage. Unfortunately for the furious Valspar champion of 2017, he released more than just steam.
That’s when the University of Louisville product took a big cut in the thick rough just off the green and hit a sprinkler head, which immediately turned the irrigation on. His reaction after the hit was fantastic, a mixture of unresolved anger and humility.

Spoiled brat
What a F-child. Should have been kicked out of the tournament.
