The new hosel from Cobra, is a paradigm shift in fitting. Before, you up loft, you get more draw, which really sucks. Honestly, whoever doesn't think this is an advancement is a low IQ monkey and knows nothing. I can't remember any of the brand settings and need to look at chart, and this thing has that right on the club (Scan)? The others don't. Actually, this club is a great litmus test for players when they go to fitters. If any fitter can't adjust to the "near" area within like 5 swings, they suck at fitting. Hit it low and left? ok cool, I go upper right quadrant. Super easy. Then I dial in from there. Other brands? You hit low and left? Ok now you hit it higher and FURTHER left. SUCKS.
I did a driver fitting a few days ago, of the 4 drivers I tried, the DS Adapt X was the one that I fit in the best, it didn't take the fitter long to get me fit into the driver, i ended up A7, he also tried B6. I was more consistent in the A7 with a Tensei Blue 65g S, the closest other shaft was the Denali red in a 60G as well. I tried 50g shafts in stiff as well, and they didn't work well for me. The DS Adapt was a win for me. The Cobra beat out Titleist GT2, Elyte core, and Qi35 core in that order. [ honestly thought I would end up in the Elyte core.
