Probably a biased take, but I believe prime, injury free VA would beat both prime LD and LCW. Both are better net players than VA but his attacks are totally unstoppable when his game is on. Too much pressure for anyone in history to handle. He conducted an absolute unseen before massacre at the Olympics. Noone today can touch him when he's at his best… We'll never know, but it's an interesting discussion 🙂
Its like lee chong wei was very calm and it best he can beat anyone.. remember he do beat lin dan in some occasion… nah don't bring olympic and world champion..as i said when lcw in his best he can winning
axelsen is so humble and respectful, now he is one of the best player, but to me, he is the complete player during his prime. I think prime axelsen could beat lin dan and lcw.
Yes, after playing badminton and becoming an intermediate player myself, I couldn't believe anyone winning against that monster.
Even so, he has been defeated so much by Lin Dan and after analysing the game, Lin Dan was so much better in Game IQ. Whether that was from his coach or himself, LCW cannot beat that.
Both of them has superb accuracy, speed, agility, flexibility, you name it, they perfected it. Still, I do believe current Axelsen may have a chance of winning, prime Momota has higher chance but it's sad to watch him play after the injury.
I'm Malaysian but I don't discriminate against countries. That being said, I only have 2 honourable mentions IMO, others have to push themselves more ❤
i watched the LCW movie……. its really sad to see that LCW could never win an olympic gold and almost every time he was denied by LD…….. its about mentality, LCW started fearing him from the beginning of his career(i could tell from the movie) and its really tough to win against someone who you feel you cant beat before entering the arena …….. he lacked the confidence against LD……….just like the magnus effect in chess he faced the LD effect, i wish he could've won the 2016 final !
Anyway, axelsen was awesome, because he was in his teenage when he compete alongside the champions, the greatest ever & he did brought trouble to lin dan & chong wei…
