After the many 1000’s ive spent on my bike. The best up grade i did cost £70 for a suspension set up by a factory team suspension engineer. That did not include a re shim on the fork. But my point is, compared to the performance you get, even as a advanced beginner, the ride performance and confidence you get from properly set up suspension is worth more than anything else you can buy for your bike. I honestly think bike shops, especially shops like Brink who have a in house suspension tuning department should increase the price of every bike so that the bike comes with a ‘free’ bike set up.
