Takeda closed out on Sunday with a slam dunk. When others faded, she just took control of this tournament. What a commanding final round. One of the best I've seen in a long time.
Also great to see some other players do well. Porter, Furue, and Lee had a good week. 🤙
Between Miyu Yamashita, Ayaka Furue, Rio Takeda, Mao Saigo, and the Iwai sisters, I would not be surprised to see a number of Japanese golfers crowding within or near the top ten of the Rolex World Ranking over the next couple seasons.

what a stunning player,demolished them,congrats Rio,elevated a usually so so tournament with a masterclass in approach shots n putting to a must watch,the last round,WOW,you hit exactly like Atthaya off the tee n fairways with that magnificent curved back at the end of your stroke,i said it after the LPGA win in early November last year,Takeda gonna be a SuperStar,now to win in North America & Europe
the last time i see 2nd n 3rd approach shots with stunning accuracy like Rio this tournamnet with dead set pin point for putting @ a distance was Lilia Vu sept/oct 2022 – november 2023,was 15 months of pure poetry in ball striking
