We put six budget golf balls (all under $30 per dozen) through a blind test—removing the logos and replacing them with colored dots—alongside a Titleist Pro V1 to see if we could tell the difference between a budget ball and a pro-level tour ball! 🤯

Each ball was tested with a driver, 7 iron, and wedge, and we ranked them from worst to best before trying to guess which ball was which. Did the Pro V1 stand out, or did a budget ball surprise us?! The results were SHOCKING!

The balls we tested:
🏌️‍♂️ Titleist Pro V1 (Expensive)
🏌️‍♂️ Titleist True Feel
🏌️‍♂️ Kirkland Signature (Costco)
🏌️‍♂️ Srixon Q-Star
🏌️‍♂️ Callaway Supersoft
🏌️‍♂️ Vice Tour White
🏌️‍♂️ TaylorMade Speedsoft

  1. I enjoyed the video guys. I like videos that challenge the bias around branded products. Especially in a time where most people are struggling to make ends meet. I played the Srixon Divide for most of last season and loved them. Nice to know you don't need to spend big on Pro V1s.

  2. I used Bridgestone BSX but tried the Srixon Q-Star at the end of last season and loved them. Perfect for a player like me. Great ball especially for the price. BTW there's a silent P in Serm.

  3. The Serm coating on a Q-Star golf ball is a flexible molecular bond coating that digs deep into the grooves, maximizing spin for more control and stopping power1. The Q-Star Tour 3 golf ball has a core that is the largest in its class, providing distance and short game spin with a softer feel than ever before2. BTW all time favorite video. Personally I game the PXG Extreme Tour.

  4. I was yelling Kirkland for blue while you guys beat around the bush 😆. Sounds like I can blame all of my past performance on golf balls and finally find my game this season with Q-Stars.

  5. You guys have the most underrated YT channel, bar none. I give these vids 9/10 rating. What I would kindly suggest, is you don't let your mind try and "guess" what your hitting, because then bias comes in because you will feel better and more confident hitting it. Just hit them and let a 3rd party handle them so you dont touch it. When you touch it, you can tell the Prov1 for sure, and than immediately causes bias. I am hoping for the blind iron test, put some tape on the backs, or something. That will be great. HUUGE bias in iron testing. Without the bias, Wilson everything may JUMP way way up.

  6. The results would be different if you had gotten 2 better players with very low handicap or 2 older golfers (65+)

  7. As an old slow swinger I don’t always agree with you BUT this is an interesting, great video.
    BTW Fuddruckers in commerce ga.

  8. OK… All the things besides feel that y’all hated about the Kirkland is everything a fitter or anybody that has done a review on the Kirkland loves about it. First of all, it’s half the price of all the other balls, second it is the only ball in your test that plays like a tour ball from 150 in third as many amateur golfers are starting to learn that spin is your friend off any club. It’s just wild to me that even in the driver test y’all didn’t even have the Kirkland on the screen or even talk about it. You’re trying to convince all these people that the amount of spin the Kirkland has which is its best attribute is something that is negative. The seven iron test and the wedge test y’all didn’t even acknowledge that it by far had the best spin.
