Tiger Woods sparked rumours he may compete in the forthcoming Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass after he was spotted playing the uber-exclusive Seminole Pro-Member.
The one-day tournament was held on 3 February and Woods teamed up with former PGA of America chief executive Seth Waugh.
Woods, 49, walked all 18 holes of the tournament alongside caddie Lance Bennett.
The 15-time major champion and his partner tied for 26th with a better ball score of 67 in the net division.
Former PGA Tour official Jimmy Dunne – who helped broker the controversial 6 June 2023 framework agreement with LIV Golf’s backers – won the tournament with DP World Tour pro Ryan Fox.
Dunne and Fox combined to hit a score of 61.
Billy Horschel and Bill Davis won the gross competition with a score of 64.
In the same division, Rory McIlroy and his father Gerry tied for 13th with a score of 67.
Other notables in the field included two-time major winners Collin Morikawa and Justin Thomas, U.S. Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley, LPGA Tour superstar Nelly Korda and NFL legend Tom Brady.
