Liverpool should train Nunez as a CB with VVD mentoring him, he is usually the hardest working player on field but blows his chances, Nunez is an absolute beast of a player that strikers would avoid approaching every time.
The risk would obviously be Nunez getting record amount of yellows and red cards, That's where VVD comes in.

How is arteta a fantastic manager???
1. 5 years in the job and hes won 1 fa cup with the team he inherited in his first year from previous manager
2. He has spent 130m on Havertz, Jesus and Trossard, plus Sterling on loan where arsenal pay 100k of his weekly wages since deadline day 30 aug 2024. None of these players fulfill what arsenal have needed since at least 2023 which is a number 9….
3. If Arteta was a fantastic manager he would have found a loan/buy for a no9 from spanish, italian even french, german or dutch league…lets not pretend there was no possibility for this since 2023 or even earlier…..
In the end football is about decisions buying the correct players to ensure the ones you have in this case Saka and Martinelli dont get over worked. Arteta knew the risk of over working Saka and decided buy the above set of players to deal with that risk which has turned out to be a very flawed strategy….
To expose him further it turns out the best backup replacement for Saka might even be a 17 year old but now hes using the 17 year old, week in week out due to previous bad decisions he has already taken…..so no not a fantastic manager…hes done a admirable job of rebuilding but his oversight on the striker position and collection of hit and miss forwards he gathered has exposed him…..plus hes on the way to burning out a 17 year old who will surely succumb to injury very soon….look at players who started young in the premier league most of them were finished by 28…looks at sterling hes 29 and plays like hes 39 because he started so early….was an unbelievable player at Liverpool…..
