Yup, this was a great video, but I can't wait to see you learn from a great mental coach.
Must be good kickbacks feom golfpride for the influencers. Their all hawking these new 'wonder' grips
Enjoyed the format of this vid! Great content as always! 👊🏼
All the best going forward and lotsa positives to take out of this 1st Comp.. 👍⛳
Matt, this is going yo be good, I think your mindset and improvements your making, will see you win & hopefully make the open. My biggest goals are to get from 8 down to 3. But find something that cures my chipping yips
We love to see ALIGN MAX performing out in the wild. Solid showing, Matt.
Did you get angry on that 1st proper hole because you didn’t take a drop, amateur error that one
I am still thinking about your swing problem. Here is what i suggest. Imagine a wall 1feet left of the ball. Now you swing hard but stop after. Now What this does is compress hip and shoulder together. AT present its bit loose. So there is no synching between hip and arms.
This is exactly what is happening in your swing. Arm moving fast and hip turns later and you hit every where.
Hip should turn towards the ball not towards target. We are basically need to add a friction to that turn so its like punch.
Tiger woods swing is different from everyone because he hit high punch. He really dont swing like others.
Power transfer is more on punch than normal flowing swing
Flowing swing ideal for tall players who has knee problem center of gravity problem and back problem
Normal players has to learn concept of high punch.
I hope you read and reply.
First need to understand all concepts and science and center of gravity stuff.
To beat nature , you have to master gravity.
For a True swing , center of gravity moving horizontally.
Training body to understand punch with body not with hands is a way to go.
I like that chipping action. Land at 90% distance and let it roll tiny bit is safe shot.
Safety first. Optimal elevation for 90% distance landing is key. Also studying undulation so land such that it roll only tiny bit. Now if its up hill dont put back spin and hit to 95%. If its down hill then 80% of landing distance.
Wrist down the questionaire..cheatsheet until u have mental routine.
1. uphill downhill or flat
2. 95% , 90% , 80% rough guide.
3. Optimal trajectory. It depends on feel.
Key is find closest slope near hole as a guide to land. Lots of people just land on green and let role for 60feet. I dont like that. You are leaving it green undulation which is unpredictable.
Liked the video Matt
Dude, you were aimed down the tree line. Lol
Yes !!! Congratulations Matt !!! 🎉
mates getting a hole in one is just as good as getting one yourself.
BTW This has to be a goat track
Nice video, Marcus is actually my coach he is the man
Great vid. Really like it when you play comps as it gives some really good advice.
Really enjoyed this video and looking forward to the series
Excellent work Matt, I enjoy your videos because you are down to earth, informative unlike some you tubers who are too cocky with a ‘look at me’ attitude, that’s a big turn off for me, those people are, yes, good golfers but we don’t need the attitude that they present
thinking about score is an absolute killer you r there to play golf & to enjoy work out your score on the 19th hole & laugh
I believe this e layers are killing your freedom to commit to the changes – a thin merino vest under should do the trick.
Would it not have been better taking an unplayable from under the bush on the second?
Great video Matt, I enjoyed the format. Definitely get a heated gilet it's a game changer, bought mine from temu for £19 it's been brilliant even when we teed off in -6 it was still toasty warm
Watching this having just played Alfridi in Spain, now i know why i cant stand winter golf in blighty, too cold, dreadful greens, just not enjoyable.
Absolutely love this; I'm far more into the content of you trying to be the best you can. Go smash it!
Why did you not use a long iron, given that you were pulling your tee shots?
I’d not heard of the Align grips until I watched a video with Rob Rock yesterday. They make sense and I think I’m going to give them a try.
The align grips are best served on the driver as you don't generally ground the club, going with a midsize for everything else is a very simple way to reduce overdoing the strong grip.
You’re pretty doody
As someone relatively new to golf I don't like the OB rules and can't see why they don't just use the same rule as hazards.
