Enjoyable watch Phil. Just some feedback for you. Last week I told you I had decided to go back to easy swing as I had got into bad habits and was putting far too much energy into my swing with little reward and I was coming off the course feeling absolutely knackered. Well I gave it ago and shot an 84 I'm an 18 handicapper so was 6 under. I hit the ball very straight and with less effort. My timing wasn't perfect I feel I still need to improve on speed through the hitting area but for first time for along while I'm very pleased. I felt when I needed a longer drive etc I still half resorted to my old ways as felt I needed to hit it harder but this will get better with practice. My main focus was on finishing with the club right through uo onto my left shoulder. Tomorrow I will focus even more on a nice smooth tempo. Anyway I'm running on now as excited with my score π. Thanks very much
I enjoy these videos . . . thank you for doing them. They do give me helpful things to think about in my own swing. I've been playing around at the range w/ the Gameboy launch monitor app on my phone. I've been able to see that by doing a better job of relaxing my swing that my club head speed can go up by about 5 mph! Thanks for the useful content!
