  1. Love you Kane but Brent Daniels 🤣
Bro lost his team the Semi Final (and a Grand Final spot) by taking the advantage call

  2. I don't know about Max Michalanney. Still a raw prospect, not the best defender. Think he's still got a ways to go. On that trajectory tho

  3. 18 clubs and Kane manages to name 2 port players, one of whom absolutely noone underates, and the other everyone reckons is a decent player

  4. "There's only one Port player on the list you clown! What are you talking about? "……."Well two Port players actually." Classic Kane Cornes earning all the love he gets!

  5. what is the measure of determining whether player x is underrated? amount of times mentioned on TV, media articles, supercoach, state of club, break out season predicted? Most i/state clubs will generally have a lot of under the radar types who get the job done and do it well.

  6. It's not the 2 out 10 on the list as so much the problem, I can always fit Peter Matera, Jeremy McGovern and Josh Kennedy etc in my all time best 22. Everybody will always see 10-15% from their club of support or employment on the list with every ranking as fairly justified, it's the certainty of it which makes it pointless, because we know there's 1-2 players Kane didn't bother to truely look for and that's really the definition of finding underrated.

  7. When Port had Brendon Ah Chee i always wondered if it was possible we could get his little brother Callum Ah Chee over, as he looked very promising,

  8. McCluggage – one of the cleanest midfielders in the comp, equally damaging inside and outside, has played a massive role in Brisbane's rise from wooden-spooners in his first season to Premiers. Somehow never gets the plaudits he deserves (although to be fair, it's a stacked midfield at Brisbane and Neale takes most of the spotlight deservedly so)

  9. No Gerrard, the Swans are not thinking of playing McDonald back, you are. You have been on this bee in your bonnet ever since he kicked his first goal. He will play bloody forward Gerrard. McCartin might at some stages too. The idea is to ease players like Snell, Andrews and Hamling into the backs. With Rampe set to retire, and not playing tall anymore, these players need to step up and Logan is not in the mix. He sits in the forward line as the third tall, the Gunston role and he kicked 37 last season and will kick 50 next. But wait, there's more. I think Joel Amartey is the smokie here. I think he is the player capable of kicking the next 100. If he learns to be more consistent, his best is amazing, his worst is horrible, he will be a star.

  10. I'd think about a Hardwick, Scrimshaw but I like the list overall. MacDonald is highly underrated, Mackenzie I think will actually be better in long run than Connor but rn MacDonald is ahead, at least in the fwd spaces.

  11. Jack Scrimshaw. He is super dependable, rarely makes mistakes and is so damaging by hand and foot. And geez can he take a contested mark!!?? People always go on about Sicily but Scrimma is just as reliable.Sicily is the top tier A grade Hawthorn backman for the fact he impacts more often with inside 50's and setting up scores himself but so often Scrimshaw begins those plays with an intercept karo or halving a contest and bringing the ball to ground and he impacts there too. Scrimma is criminally underrated. But not by Hawks members and faithful. We know his worth.

  12. Welcome, Francis Evans, Saw his highlights package and I am impressed. Certainly knows where the goals are, and can nail a tackle. Welcome back, Terry, looking good mate and relaxed. Real shame about White and McMahon but if they hang in there, they will probably get a shot at it.

  13. Alier is B+ defender. Alex Pearce and Luke Ryan are above him. McGovern, Andrews, weitering, above them again. Taylor is below Ryan.

  14. The game is analysed to within an inch of its life these days, so not sure if you can have an underrated player😊

  15. The list goes on of under rated players. Media hysteria and laziness goes back to heralding the stars all the time.
