  1. Looks like great clubs. Only fitted set I have had were Ping. I went to Gainsborough in Lincolnshire and was fitted for the latest irons,Ping Zing 2. Fantastic clubs and why oh why did I trade them in years later?

  2. Not sure why you felt so good about these irons, as you didn't hit them particularly as well as I've seen you hit other irons sets recently, including Maltby's. If I didn't know any better I'd think Ping gave you some endorsement money to say good things about the clubs, as I'm not impressed. If you're giving them a score of 96 then they should be your daily drivers. Doubt we'll see that. Little disappointed.

  3. I've hit these. I thought they looked a lot better than the G lineup of irons has looked in the past, slimmer, smaller, and would look great in the bag. They felt very good, not at all tinny sounding. Good shot height. The offset didn't strike me as unusual, and it wasn't visually or functionally an issue. I think these will be a big seller for Ping.

  4. This is really suspicious you should not have titled the video like this it just seems like you're shilling so hard. I hate to thumbs down a golf video without any British accents. Sorry mate

  5. Probably not a fair or reasonable question but how do you think the G440s would compare to the Takomo 101s? No doubt the Ping are better but cost is a big factor.

  6. I play Wishon EQ1-NX single-length irons, and played their Sterling irons before that. Thus, I've been in Wishon single-length irons for more than 8 years. But I played Ping irons for a very long time before that. (Green dot.) Personally, I didn't mind the offset or thicker topline. It gave me confidence. This is why, even as a single-digit, I prefered the G-series over the I-series. I'll never go back to conventional irons, but if Ping ever came out with a single-length set….

  7. Gabe, these look fine and sound great. Bit more expensive than those '23 Wilsons "you made me buy" ;>). Get your chipping back on track. Enjoy seeing you review on that course that we've come to know well, too.

  8. Sorry but these are another ugly looking club to me. 7 iron and look at all that junk in the trunk. I couldn't stand over them no matter how they hit. BTW..Great review as always.

  9. I’d love to see your ratings of these against the mizuno equivalent and srixon equivalent as I’m homing in on testing these clubs and getting fitted to them. In fact maybe you could give us your rating on a lot of clubs in this category.

  10. These look like the irons the G430 should have been— Visually an evolution of the G425 with the badge covering those ugly PurFlex flaps. Looks way better– dare I say a bit more like JPX Hot Metals with some Ping DNA built in???

  11. Does the entire golf course close for you to make these videos? It always seems like you're on the entire course alone.

  12. Damn! I had finally decided that my G30 irons are great and then I watched your review and I am now considering G440’s again.
Any chance you could compare the two using similar lofts and not club number?
