  1. Nice but No Body comes close to Mr. Ben Hogan for talent, ball striking and come back after injures.. He is My Hero…And on top of my list, Then Bobby Jones, and Mr. Nicklaus….

  2. Tiger best that ever played. Arnold Palmer the greatest Man. Ben Hogan the best ball striker. Byron Nelson best Gentleman. Sam Sneed longest career

  3. I would go with Tiger. No one in the history of golf could have got anywhere near him when he won the US Open by 15 shots! Tiger is the GOAT!

  4. Ever try hitting a hickory shafted golf club and a gotta perch a ball? Ever putt on greens where the grass was as long as the fairways? That’s what Jones did and he shot regularly in the sixties in major tournaments. Oh, and he did it in his spare time while getting degrees in English and law.

  5. Don't listen to Jack or Gary Tiger is not white so forget it he Tiger Woods has done what pro's only dream Gary it's a race issue 👎

  6. As golf gets bigger, the world population gets bigger the more talent enters golf. 100 years ago those champions like Bobby Jones competed against so few opponents. He probably never experience pressure. Fast forward today a global game with many more players and only the best rising to the top. Look at the fields and how packed it is at the top. Every generation gets harder so I give the props to Tiger. If the next star in the future is head and above the competition I’ll say they had it harder.

  7. No one will ever live up to the legacy of Jack Nicklaus. Woods may be ( have been) a corporate money making icon, but what Nicklaus gave to the sport of golf cannot be matched. His ability, determination, commitment, aura, record of success and most of all his dignity, respect and humility. I had the pleasure of following him around Wentworth once in the World Matchplay Championship. He said two words to his young opponent, Jose-Maria Olazabal aged 21, as they stood on the first tee " Play Well". I then watched in awe as he annihilated Olazabal 6&5. This was six months after his comeback Major win at Augusta, aged 46. Thank you Jack for what you did for sport, and golf in particular. May the legend live on.

  8. Many people believe the most talented golfer of all time in terms of sheer raw ability was Jimmy Demaret of Houston. Unfortunately, he was something of a wasted talent, carousing all night and showing up on the first tee hours later and still shooting 70. If he had had the discipline of Gary Player or Ben Hogan, there's no telling what he might have done.

  9. Here in is the difference between Jack and Tiger. Character and humility vs Pride and Arrogance. As far as the GOAT might be between these two along with Jones and Hogan. There is only 2 of them I would ride in a car with though…lol

  10. If the number of majors decides the GOAT then it's Nicklaus but Tiger's 15 were won in much more competitive times. The equipment in Jones day was very different so a comparison is difficult.

  11. Most golfers don't retire until well in their late 30's.
Bobby Jones could have, and would have, accomplished goals that no golfer would never come close to.

  12. I was just as good as any of them. I just stayed out of tournaments. They never wanted to allow me to use my footwedge.☹️
