  1. You can be as liberal as you want, but there's no excuse to not prepare for natural disasters unique to your own state, that's just bad governing, no politics about it, people say DEI hires, whatever, I'm sure that black women could put out a fire if trained properly too but it's inexcusable to not have the necessary accoutrements to battle a recurring natural devastation

  2. I think you might want to fact check some of the assertions made in the last 1/3 of this podcast, especially with regards to brush.

  3. GB beat themselves starting the game with a TO on the kickoff . Missed FG. Multiple INT. And the injuries took them out of the game

  4. KC should be investigated for allowing the Bills to beat the Broncos so the Chiefs wouldn't have to play them next week. Disgusting..

  5. Let’s take it easy on Love. There isn’t another team in the playoffs that doesn’t have a clear number 1 WR. Green Bay has a stable of number 2 and 3 receivers. He needs to improve for sure, but he doesn’t have a great receiver that he can count on to get open consistently.

  6. Not a political discussion but two guys praising trump and criticizing the handling of COVID, unsubscribing

  7. 3:08 Its funny, Colin has such a drastically different take on the eagles day to day. He has gone back mans forth it seems every week. First they're ok. Then they are horrible and won't make the playoffs. Then they should fire their coaching staff. Then they are incredible/unbeatable. Then they need to replace the qb. Then their vibes are off. Then their the second best team in football. Then they aren't good enough to beat a team they beat by 17.

Colin, I'm so happy you weren't involved in all that freak shit. But god damn your takes are about as consistent as a two dollar scratcher.

  8. I’m close to the Palisades fire on the NE side and have been ready to bounce at any moment if needed to since the day before it started. Listening to you guys talk football is one of my rare escapisms from several days of hellish news and destruction. I was clueless about Santa Ana winds when I moved from east coast to SF. My first experience with them was only when I moved down to LA and had my car hit by a giant tumbleweed due to the winds. I’ve always hated Santa Ana winds since then and it makes me instantly grumpy when I would hear about them on the forecast. Now I’m probably going to feel way more than grumpy when I hear about them from now on.😖

And ooof … where to begin on the Trump takes. I try to avoid politics on YouTube especially sports but you guys started it. 😎You can’t praise Trump for his “direct” methods and rip on the left without calling out Trump acting like an expert on 17000 topics that he’s clearly clueless about. Latest example: his takes on fire containment and saying petty and vile things at the ABSOLUTE worst of times. Imagine if dems did that to that level when FL was getting wrecked by hurricanes? You will never get my support on any president speaking like that and I’m sure I’ll get dogpiled in a football YT channel for even being critical of him but I couldn’t care less. I’m drained from these fires and the arguing. We need more support and less political mud slinging.

Agree with lots of valid criticism on CA, LA and far left leaning politics. We need more common sense such as calming down with all EV ambitions when fires and power grids are not up to par. I appreciate the improvements to the air quality though. It just needs more sane balancing and expectations. Also why do we not have more underground power lines out here? 🙁

Regarding Bass, she seemed more focused on the perception of improved homeless situation in support of LA’s upcoming Olympics. I truly think that was a major goal not the improvement of average quality of life, affordable housing and safety of LA folks. The budget changes seem to echo this. It’s also true that a small % of homeless around here have a history of also starting fires which means you can’t fully tackle fire safety if that’s not dealt with. It’s happened near me many times over the years

Last but not least I’ll end on a positive note and echo the stellar local news support and absolutely incredible and heroic work from the firefighters, 1st responders and pilots. I could watch footage of those strategic retardant and water drops for hours while being in awe. I’m so grateful for what they’ve been doing for us out here 🙏 and thanks to both of you for the continued excellent NFL coverage and commentary

  9. Herbert gets excuses for his poor play, but losing his center, left guard, and two receivers (with one out before the game started) isn’t worth mentioning for Love? One of the interceptions was an arm punt, and one of them should’ve been PI putting them at first and goal on the one.

  10. Green Bay was such a running back centric offense all season. They made the decision to be. 25+ touches for Jacobs, limit Love's drop backs, play defense. Problem is you get to the very first playoff game and the best defense in the league is on the other side. The ONLY way to win that game is to sack up and beat them through the air. They just could not do it because they weren't ready. Not sure how to dish out the blame but it's on everyone.

  11. Eagles need a passing QB. Could be the best team in the league if they had a top tier passer. Jalen just ain't it. 😢

  12. Giving Buffalo’s front office credit is laughable. They have skill position players who cannot separate and a bad defense that has not recovered from Matt Milano being injured and their secondary is crap.

  13. No turnovers is very good in the playoffs.
Jalen is getting better every year with avoiding interceptions. I'd rather he play cautious than play like Dak. They picked up Barkley to help him with that and it's working great. FEF!

  14. I’d like to encourage all of you to read the uninhabitable earth by David Wallace wells. It’s going to be more reliable to inform you on the facts of environmental policy than an nfl scout and a Fox sports pundit.

  15. What? Jalen wasn't great but he was good. Zero picks, 2 TDs, 90 yards 4th qtr. Play calling sucked. Jalen was fine

  16. Colin I love your stuff and love these talks every Sunday with John. What y’all are saying about Trump is NUTS though. No democrats feel that way. Everyone is looking to blame someone with these fires. We’ll take stock in the aftermath and see if indeed Dems or anyone could’ve done more or been better prepared. But Trump ain’t right on this. Saddens me to see smart guys like you taken in by this.

  17. It would be offensive to sports to tell him to stick to sports because he's usually so wrong about that too (and he is supposed to "know" sports).
