SUN DAY RED is Tiger Woods’ new company in partnership with Taylormade and reactions to it have been far from positive. So why is this new luxury golf brand failing to meet expectations and continues to operate in the shadows… so let’s take a look at the quick rise (and fall?) of Sun Day Red to Figure out how we got to where we are today.

  1. Just looked at their website, their t-shirts are $50-$65 and polos are $115-$150 if they wanted to buy it they would’ve priced their stuff lower. Charging $45 a glove is a bit crazy

  2. For some reason I had decided that Sun Day Red was failing from the day that they announced the brand. I had no evidence to back it up, but it just didn't seem like it was going to work. I like high end golf apparel, but I don't like paying full price. So during black friday I was excited to buy some SDR on deep discounts since I decided that they were failing, but I found that not much was marked down at all. Pretty much everything that everyone wanted was still full price, and IMO that's a sign that a company is doing well.

  3. Hmmmmm Go to the website everything is sold out, do your research would be best before making a video that can be fact checked

  4. He’s charging no different from what supreme or any other sort of clothing brand charges for clothes•in this day and age• 115 bucks for a polo you’re gonna pay the same thing if you went to supreme or any other halfway exclusive clothing brand

  5. And I thought the LA Dodgers had the worst logo in sports! LOL
Even Chinese and Japanese martial arts movies come up with better names: "Red Tiger" … "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" … "Red Sun" … "Day of the Tiger" … "Black Pants on Sundae" … "Black and Red Don't Kill the Fellow" … I mean… It could be "Friday Any Color," 'cause he doesn't make the cut anymore! LOL

  6. PXG! Same concept. Make the profit margins extremely high because they can because of Tiger. Give it a few years, it will be big.

  7. I was all about Sunday Red until I saw the price point on the products. Especially when customers were already use to the Nike prices. Slight miscalculation on TaylorMades part.

  8. This is one of the dumbest opinions I’ve ever heard. The product is going to be in the nicer golf shops starting in spring after the PGA Show and it WILL grow from there.

  9. It hasn’t failed. I love my sweaters, but it’s not for everyone. It’s overpriced, but that’s the point.

  10. STOP TALKING DOWN ABOUT YOUR BRAND OUTSIDE OF COURT WITHOUT LAWYERS IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF YOUR BRAND. FIND A BETTER MARKETING AND ADVERTISING COMPANY LEAVE ME ALONE. BYE

  11. I recently got back into golf after not playing or following the sport for the past 10 or so years. I had no idea that 1) Tiger came out with his own golf brand or 2) that Sun Day Red was Tiger's brand. I saw Sun Day Red ads on social medial but didn't realize it was Tiger's brand until I saw him wearing it and put 2 and 2 together. The stuff is very nice but just a bit too expensive, in my opinion. Honestly, I also think everything is just a bit too basic to justify the price. I went on their website looking to be wow'ed by something. Nothing stuck out except for the $50 ball markers. I'm sure the quality is great, but they sell 16 basic, solid-color or striped polos. C'mon. Also, the fact that they do not sell a red polo on their website is absolutely mind boggling to me.
