Nick didn’t say anything crazy. Just because a rookie puts together a good season doesn’t mean they are established and have arrived. CJ Stroud, Jordan loves, and Bo Nix need to show more for us to believe who they were their first season is legit.

This narrative is so frigging TIRED! 🙄 Remember how Matthew Stafford was "over-rated" because he spent 11 years with the Lions and never won a playoff game? Yeah, he was a "civilian" until he went to the Rams and suddenly became good enough to win a Super Bowl. Oh, and remember how Peyton Manning was washed up and old with the Colts….until he went to a Denver team that made the playoffs with Tim Tebow the previous year, and suddenly Manning was setting passing records and won another Super Bowl? Remember how the Chiefs were already winning the division with Alex Smith as the QB before getting Patrick Mahomes? Teams win Super Bowls, not just QBs. People need to stop watching DOPES like Nick Wright who base a QB's skill on the team's performance.
I'm surprised Nick finally budged on his constant dismissal of Bo Nix and finally admitted that he's 'probably a good QB'. I agree with him that we need to see more since it's only one year, but that's a far more reasonable take than downplaying his success and claiming he won't pan out long term for the Broncos before he could even play a single snap.
